At first, the leather is brutal: astringent, hard, and unsweetened, with hints of tar, spices, and green notes. Perfect for unfiltered leather lovers. But over time, that edge fades, leaving behind a spicy and green scent that doesn’t quite convince me, with a lingering rubbery or rubbery aftertaste. Very potent and straight to the point.

Interlude doesn’t smell like perfume; it smells like dry, old wood with a dusting of spice powder on top. Cumin defines the character, even if they don’t say so, while cardamomo adds that sharp freshness that sometimes takes over. In the base, that wood has a slight burgundy-style oud touch, but toned down, as if viewed from afar, while in your hands you have a cocktail of softer, neutral woods that lighten it up. If you’re looking for something spicy but not heavy, with cumin front and center and a dry pine-wood-like base, you’ll love it.
