Polish brand LA RIVE is new, and I absolutely love its quality and price. It’s elegant and spicy, featuring amber, moss, and fermented orange peel that reminds me of Terre d’Hermès but with a resinous twist. Then comes the phenomenal saffron and a shy patchouli, closing with clean shower gel notes—fantastic. I’ll repeat: the sesame could have lasted longer, but at around 5 hours, it’s great compared to other fragrances. If you compare it to BOOS SOUL, they’re very similar; the only difference is the initial projection, as this one has a less invasive aromatic bubble. Since BOOS SOUL is less versatile and better suited for evening or late afternoon, this is ideal for summer. With 2 or 3 reapplications during the day, you’ll stay fresh, and it lasts even longer on clothes. Personally, a bit more projection would be better, but maybe that would make it less versatile, hence my 7/10 rating.
