Bad Intense by Diesel

I was expecting to find a cloying, fishy smell here, but there isn’t one. I haven’t tried its predecessor, but this one didn’t interest me at all. I must have a dull nose, because despite how different their pyramids or families are, most launches still smell the same to me. Here too, that rare, omnipresent sweet vanilla is very prominent, which is annoying since it’s not even listed, and I don’t know if Anthony Blake is going to pop up any moment to tell me it’s just in my imagination. The opening is pleasant, generic from minute one, quite sweet with citrus. The caviar note is less salty than expected. I see it perhaps better integrated than in others, but it comes off a bit sour, wet… I don’t think it does anything that less flashy notes can’t do. It fades quickly. In the development, the blend is light and somewhat fresh, with impressions of eucalyptus and incense. A fairly oriental spicy mix but not too warm. The dry down is very sweet and mainstream, but maybe not as dense as Pure XS. I don’t see this one as salty or animalic… The scent didn’t like me, but I admit I was somewhat prejudiced beforehand. Its ad spot is one that makes me feel ashamed (at least the Boss Bottled ads, for example, talk about other things), and besides, I don’t like sweet perfumes with caviar (they make me think of those amateur high-end dishes where the mixes don’t work for me). It performs very well, this does approach what I consider an eau de parfum. I put it on at 6 AM with less than half a sample, and by noon it was still leaving a trail. The first two hours are quite intense. It projects well and fixes well. Longevity is lasting. As for the aroma, I think there are more interesting options to dive into the mud of fashion, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quite youthful, nocturnal perfume with good performance at a pretty good price. 5/10.

This smells like what Armani Code Profumo tried to be and couldn’t: intense in scent (not necessarily in projection), with character and seductive. The caviar note dominates, giving it depth; it’s for people who don’t look for easy perfumes. It starts strong for the first two hours, then lingers in the background with occasional bursts. If you wanted more personality than Code Profumo or Burberry Rhythm offers, try this Diesel Bad Intense; it smells like a rascal, an authentic Rude Boy.

I respect but don’t share the previous reviews. This perfume smells super good, has body and character. For me, at least, it lasts on my skin for about 7 hours, with the first hours being crazy in terms of projection and trail. Little to nothing has been said about this perfume, and the truth is it’s a must-have for any collection. I recommend it 100%. I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

A monster for going out at night, one of the best out there. It’s seductive, powerful, and lasts a long time. Its trail and longevity are top-notch.
