At this price point, I was expecting something with more depth, but it’s just coconut, vanilla, and a creamy white flower that smells like self-tanner lotion. I was surprised by how little it lasts and how quickly it fades. Luckily, I was able to return it and get a refund 🍀. The bottle isn’t much either: the cap feels flimsy and the gold is super flashy. It didn’t convince me because it doesn’t last and is very predictable.
I didn’t feel much complexity; given the price, I thought it would be something special, but it’s just coconut, vanilla, and a creamy white flower that smells like tanning lotion. I was surprised by how weak the sillage is. Luckily, I was able to return it and get a refund 🍀. The bottle isn’t anything special either: the cap felt light and the gold was very loud. It didn’t win me over because it doesn’t last and lacks originality.
As soon as you open it, coconut and peach embrace you from the very first second and dominate the scent all the way through. Then, slowly, floral notes start to emerge, with ylang-ylang standing out (it’s actually listed on the official website, even if not here). Once it dries down, that blend of ylang, coconut, and vanilla leaves a perfect sweetness on the skin.
The moment you try it, the coconut and peach greet you and take charge throughout the entire evolution. As time passes, the floral notes come out, with ylang-ylang really making its presence felt (it’s there, even if you don’t list it here; it’s on the brand’s website). In the end, ylang, coconut, and vanilla linger as a pleasant sweetness on the dry down.
