Another wonderful creation that never stops giving me joy. Imagine being in the garden of a house lost in Tuscany filled with lemon trees swayed by the breeze at your feet thick velvet-like grass with that intense green and fresh smell and a light curtain of jasmine leaves dragged by the air. All while the sun shines on your face and you have a natural vanilla smoothie. Gender: Unisex. Season: Autumn/Spring/Summer. Occasion: Day/Afternoon. Type: Fresh/Citrus/Floral.

  • Olfactory Memories

Another gem from this house that always makes me happy. Imagine being in the garden of a house lost in Tuscany: lemon trees swaying in the breeze, thick velvet grass with that fresh, intense green scent, and a curtain of jasmine leaves dragged through the air. All while the sun warms your face and you enjoy a naturally flavored, well-chilled vanilla shake. Unisex, ideal for Autumn, Spring, and Summer, to wear during the day or evening. Fresh, citrusy, and floral.

Rich fragrance more for female use in my opinion. I expected a burst of citrus but it’s very well balanced. You enjoy the trail for at most two hours and then it stays close to the skin. I consider there are better perfumes with these notes that offer greater longevity although I consider trying it to see if it’s to my liking.

Ambra Calabria has one of the most natural bergamots I’ve smelled on this olfactory journey with a formidable evolution: it goes from green citrus to powdery amber. How does Nishane achieve that? In principle if you’re not used to florals and amber it could smell feminine but that’s not the case; like almost everything from the Turkish house it’s 100% unisex. In the opening you have the energizing and refreshing green citrus part which gradually mixes with amber and vanilla creating a winning accord: creamy citrus. Deep in the background is the musk which doesn’t offend. That sweet and powdery sensation brings to mind the dry-down of Prada L’Homme L’Eau. It serves for casual and semi-formal wear on warm days; I think it shines in the office or as a signature scent. I wouldn’t use it in extreme heat unless it’s at night and there I still have doubts. Moderate projection for 3 hours then skin scent for another 3 hours. Huge alternative if you like Chanel Allure Édition Blanche; with Chanel’s performance and price this Nishane option is a complete winner.

Ambra Calabria has a brutal natural bergamot, the best I’ve experienced on this olfactory journey, with a crazy evolution: from citrus-green to powdery amber. How does Nishane do it? At first, if you’re not used to florals and amber, it might seem feminine, but no, like almost everything from the Turkish house, it’s 100% unisex. The opening is citrusy and green, super energizing and refreshing; it slowly fades while mixing with the amber and vanilla, creating a winning accord: creamy citrus. Way in the back is the musk, which doesn’t bother anyone. That sweet and powdery sensation reminds me a bit of the dry-down of Prada L’Homme L’Eau. It works for casual or semi-formal wear on warm days; I think it shines more in the office or as a signature scent. I wouldn’t use it in extreme heat unless it’s at night, and even then, I still have doubts. Moderate projection for 3 hours, then skin scent for another three. If you like Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, this Nishane option is a total winner, especially with the price and performance compared to Chanel.

  • Excellent fragrance I love it. A spectacular creamy citrus for spring and summer 100×100 recommended.

  • Not much to add to the other reviews: Ambra Calabria is a soft sweet and very realistic citrus loaded with amber. By the way its creaminess is a huge plus making it usable day and night. Perhaps a bit more feminine from my perspective but it’s a daily wear perfume to not overthink perfect for the office and informal settings. Great quality and good longevity as with most creations from this Turkish house.

  • Quality scent slightly original but with moderate projection. Smells fresh; I think it’s a bit pricey but with the box-style case with a bow puller and interior padding plus the cap which is incredibly heavy the rest of the price is for the perfume itself.

  • Candycandy40

Green citrusy and ambered perfume of great quality but moderate longevity for an extract. Beautiful presentation and scent ideal for spring and autumn. The downside is the high price relative to performance: about 6 hours and goodbye. I’m not sure if I would buy it again. Edition 07/08/2025. Over time performance and scent improve and I’ve learned to love it.

This perfume is gorgeous. I have many niche and designer scents and every time I see the bottle my face lights up like a lover with their partner. It’s not my absolute favorite but it’s tremendously special. I’ve had it for 6 or 7 months and although I love it now (both me and my girlfriend) I remember that in the first few days it smelled like an older lady. It happens with all of them: they arrive destabilized and need to be aged for weeks or months to regain their true form. Using it is an experience because it comes out prominently green as if you had played with and discarded a jasmine flower between your fingers (very common where I live especially as a child). Accompanied by a citrus touch like two drops of lemon in tea subtle but necessary. It embraces you and drags you into jasmine until you think it’s floral but you’re wrong: that green/floral recedes and the sweet elegant and unisex vanilla comes out added by amber and white musk. It’s gorgeous delicious without being gourmand charming and endearing. Totally unisex my girlfriend uses it from time to time. Moderate projection; at first it smells at arm’s length by 2 hours at most it retreats to a personal bubble but with a trail. By 6-7 hours it disappears without a trace. As a guy I see it as perfect for almost any situation but not for hitting on someone at a club; rather for a second date or an intimate moment alone.

  • Like everything from Nishane it has a beautiful presentation and a soft scent with a high-quality green citrus opening. Then it sweetens a bit with amber and vanilla it’s quite nice and leaves a trail for the first 3 hours but then it drops significantly lasting about 5 hours which is its weak point as an extract; I think even if it doesn’t project it should last longer. In terms of scent it’s a delight and worth the price but if you evaluate it by performance it’s not. If you like green citrus perfumes and money isn’t an issue I recommend it but if you don’t have extra cash look for other options. What I do know is that I bought the 50ml bottle with a partial of 35ml; I wouldn’t buy the full bottle. Just a note as an olfactory experience it’s a delight.

The citrus handling by Nishane is brutal oozing quality. Ambra Calabria is my first purchase from the brand and without a doubt won’t be the last. I was very intrigued by the idea of mixing amber and vanilla with fresh notes a difficult challenge due to the opposing accords. It seems they thought about recreating Southern Italy: intense fresh and warm a sublime homage to the coast. It’s a unique extract as refined as it is sunny designed to awaken emotions with energy and luminosity. Like the sun caressing Calabria this fragrance caresses your skin with natural beauty perfect when the afternoon falls and the heat softens. It starts fresh with bergamot green acid and perceptible galbanum. It’s an interesting mix nothing ordinary: light citrusy subtly bitter-sweet creamy and sweet ideal for feeling good in spring and summer. For me amber is the protagonist alongside vanilla which adds sweetness without being sticky always with citrus vitality. Very elegant and well-constructed: citrus fresh creamy spicy sweet and green. Balanced with a bit of everything. The longevity is acceptable a few hours. Average performance for an extract (I expected more) but it adapts to almost any place except extreme heat or cold. Watch out it’s expensive: around 170 euros for 50ml though with patience you can find it between 90 and 110 a fair price. Other proposals reach 215-250 euros out of reach so check for deals and hit the cart when the moment comes. Great work by Nishane.

I had only known Nishane for a year through reviews and videos, imagining those expensive, well-spoken perfumes. After trying a few and reading reliable opinions like those from JerryDrake, I decided to buy. Calabria Ambre is exactly what it sounds like: sparkling, slightly sweet bergamot that makes your mouth pucker, and a dry amber like Ambre Imperial. In the heart, a fresh encounter between citrus and the sweet bitterness of amber. How beautiful. The citrus comes out natural and coriander gives it a spicy kick. Although some say it’s animalic due to the cumin, I don’t notice anything animal on my skin. I love the sparkling amber on the skin; the citrus wrapper fades away to reveal the amber creaminess. It’s not super complex but evolves well. It’s fine for summer heat, but on spring nights with those refreshing citrus notes and the amber balancing thanks to its temperance, it’s ideal. Use it whenever you want; it’s not that formal. Performance isn’t its strong suit compared to other house scents, though being an extract and at this price, you could expect more projection. Longevity isn’t bad. I’m seriously considering buying it; it’s postulating as one of the best from Nishane, unisex, and balanced, loaded with nuances that surprise you the more you use it.

A year ago, I only knew Nishane through forums and random videos, imagining those expensive, well-spoken perfumes. After trying a few and reading reliable reviews like JerryDrake’s, I decided to buy them and they didn’t disappoint. Ambra Calabria is exactly what it sounds like: sparkling, slightly sweet bergamot that tingles your mouth, mixed with a dry amber similar to Ambre Imperial. The meeting of citrus and that airy amber is beautiful; although I had tried similar things before, the evolution here is superior. The citrus comes out natural, and the cilantro adds a spicy kick that gives it power. My only fear was the animalic character mentioned, perhaps due to the cumin, but on my skin, I don’t notice anything animalic, just that sparkling amber. The citrus wrapper fades away to reveal the creamy amber at the end. It’s not super complex but evolves well; it’s good in summer heat, but at night or in warm springs, the citrus refreshes and the amber balances with its temperance. Use it whenever you want, it’s not that formal. The only downside is that longevity isn’t its strong suit compared to other Turkish house scents; being an extrait at this price, I expected more projection from that amber base. Longevity is correct, but could be better. It’s one of the best I’ve tried from Nishane, unisex and balanced, loaded with nuances that the more you use it, the more you’re surprised by.

  • It’s one of the best from Nishane, alongside Hacivat and the Cologne line. A delightful, powdery fruity citrus that leaves a delicious trail. It’s unisex and looks great on my wife. Plus, it’s available at more accessible prices than other house scents, around 80-90€ for 50ml testers on eBay or Jomashop. You can buy it blind without fear; it’s not complex, stands out for its naturalness and quality, and sometimes comes at designer prices. Highly recommended.

  • It’s one of the best from Nishane, alongside Hacivat and the Colognise. It’s a delightful citrus, fruity, and musky scent that leaves a delicious trail wherever it goes. It’s unisex and suits my wife perfectly. The best part is that you can grab testers on eBay or Jomashop at lower prices than the other scents from the house, around 80-90€ for 50ml. You can buy it blind without fear: it’s not a complex aroma, it stands out for its naturalness and quality, and you often find it at designer prices. Highly recommended.

Calabria Ambre is an olfactory journey to Turkey, signed by Jorge Lee. It combines Mediterranean citrus and greens with that oriental density that gives it character. The result is a potent citrus mixed with aromatic herbs and a sweet amber. Olfactorily, it’s very interesting, elegant, and delicious. It reminds me of Nishane and Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche, both excellent. The opening is citrusy, dense, and slightly spicy due to the coriander, but the best part is the dry down: everything melts into one with a subtle, sweet creaminess. It’s not a gourmand; the sweetness is well-measured. Versatile for any season, from elegant to casual. Good longevity and projection.

  • It’s a simple but well-executed and balanced fragrance. It opens citrusy with that bitter touch of green lemon or bergamot peel that persists for a while before drying down to reveal vanilla, creating a sweet lemon vibe with an amber base. It doesn’t bother anyone, even if you overapply and head out at 6 am. In the opening, it reminds me a lot of Mancera Lemon Line; they smell similar when sprayed on the same surface, though Mancera is sharper. It works for everything during the day: work, formal events, or casual outings. Longevity is typical for a citrus cologne: 4-5 hours, but close to the skin, the vanilla touch lasts 8-9 hours. Projection is moderate to low, nothing beastly, so apply generously (15-20 sprays). It’s not meant to generate compliments or high impact, but to look good with an appropriate scent for the occasion; it’s a fragrance with good presence that stands out from the rest.

  • Calabria Ambre doesn’t disappoint even with high expectations: it’s exactly that sparkling amber citrus that dries down to enchanting vanilla. It’s a compliment machine that delights both women and men equally and lifts the mood; for me, it surpasses the house’s second-best, Wulong Cha. Ideal for autumn and spring, it evolves just like the day does in those seasons. Uniqueness and longevity get a 4, versatility and presentation a 5, and value for money also a 5. It’s formal enough for the office or events, unisex, and works day or night. Ideal atomization is 4 sprays. In short: ‘superlative definition of amber citrus’. Ideal occasion: spring or autumn afternoons. Alternative: Boucheron Jaïpur EDP. Total: 4 stars.

  • To my nose, when it dries down, it smells very much like Ambre Nue d’Atelier Cologne and L’Ambre des Merveilles by Hermès. It sticks to clothes and lasts all day in spring. It’s an ideal amber for the season because of that sparkling, refreshing touch.

Calabria Ambre is an overlooked gem from Nishane, super versatile for spring and summer. It’s a sparkling amber citrus with green air, echoing Hacivat and Ege. It reminds me a bit of Chanel Allure Édition Blanche, but wins on quality and longevity. It’s easy to wear, charming, and lasts over 8 hours without issues. Plus, it’s the most affordable option from the brand. Bye!

  • monsieurleather

Ambra Calabria is one of the overlooked gems of Nishane, and perhaps one of the most versatile, ideal for spring and summer. If you simplify it, it’s an ambered citrus (as its name says) with a green touch. You can note parts of Hacivat and Ege here. It also has a relation to Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, though it’s not the same, and Ambra Calabria outshines it a thousand times in quality and longevity. It’s an easy-to-wear, versatile, charming scent that everyone will like. Plus, it lasts a long time, over 8 hours without issues, with a close but perceptible trail. Within Nishane, it’s in the most budget-friendly range for mortals. Bye!

At first, the citrus note stands out, but then a very feminine floral heart lingers that I absolutely love.

  • peperinafragancia

Smells like creamy soap with almond notes, like Dove. It’s that pure, pleasant scent of cleanliness.
