I absolutely love this perfume; it’s my favorite from the collection so far, and I haven’t even tried the new blue one yet. I consider it more feminine than masculine, though my partner says he doesn’t mind wearing it occasionally.
I bought this based on the notes, trusting Swiss Arabian and the price. The box is gorgeous and luxurious, just like its siblings. The bottle is heavy, sober, and features an elegant metallic red finish that feels cool and pleasant to the touch, topped with a heavy gold cap that seals perfectly. The opening is fresh, floral, and sweet (not gourmand): light peach, bergamot, ripe melon, and watermelon, blended with freesia, iris, and another white flower. It projects from afar, and the bubble closes in about half an hour. Then, green apple, tonka bean, and more flowers emerge (maybe roses, though I don’t smell them distinctly), wrapped in a soft, powdery, creamy veil—a youthful, charming floral halo. The peach, apple, and freesia last a long time, projecting over 30 cm. The base is tempting: musk, vanilla, amber, cedar, and delicate sandalwood. I barely detect the signature oud, only catching it at the end, melted into the base; it’s warm, refined, not invasive, yet deep and persistent. It’s clearly feminine, ageless, and perfect for any season—very sophisticated and elegant. It projects sweet, harmonious flowers and fruits several hours close to the skin and lasts up to 24 hours on clothes. As it dries, hours later, the indole emerges: that animal, moist, sweet, deep, and organic note typical of Gucci. It compares to Milano regarding the fruits, but Shaghaf lacks that animal and leather edge. With Erba Pura, there’s a touch, but it’s much finer and less potent. With Kirke, yes, for the sparkling fruity note, but Shaghaf offers more depth. Total success; it tempts me to buy more from the collection, and I highly recommend it.

The bottle is heavy, sober, with an elegant metallic red finish, cool and pleasant to the touch, capped with a heavy gold stopper that closes perfectly. Fresh, floral, and sweet opening (not gourmand): clear peach, bergamot, ripe melon, and watermelon, with freesia, iris, and another white flower. It projects from afar, the bubble closes after half an hour. Then green apple, tonka bean, and more flowers appear (maybe roses, but I don’t sense them clearly) with a soft, powdery, creamy veil, a youthful and charming floral halo. It compares to Milano regarding the fruits, but Shaghaf lacks that animal or leather point. Also with Erba Pura, it has a touch but is much finer and less potent. With Kirke, yes, for the sparkling fruity point, but Shaghaf has another depth. Total hit, it tempts me to buy others from the collection, I recommend it.
It smells like Garnier Fructis shampoo with hairspray; nothing like the pure grass of Kirke. I’ve tried several comparisons, and they all just smell toxic to me.
It smells like Garnier Fructis shampoo mixed with hairspray. I’m not a fan of the Erba Pura-Kirke profile; I’ve tried comparisons, and they all smell like toxic products.
Floral and fruity opening that might seem more feminine than it actually is. After half an hour, the woody notes and amber emerge, making it very unisex for me. It smells clean; at first, it reminds me of a peach shampoo. Ideal for summer.

It’s 90% similar to Xerjoff’s Erba Pura at first, but while EP is sweeter and fruitier, this one highlights the woody notes more. After three hours, the oud fades, and it becomes fruitier, ambered, and cleaner. By the fifth hour on the skin, it’s quite masculine and sexy, releasing vanilla and amber while leaving the wood barely perceptible. Note: if you don’t like oud, use it sparingly, because if you overdo it, it smells terrible.

To sum up: it’s not unisex. The peach note is super feminine, so I had to gift it to my mother.
