It’s a very special, seductive, and attractive fragrance. I’ve been using the classic Very Irresistible for at least 6 years, and once I smelled Absolutely on a friend and it attracted me. It’s a mix of the classic with something woody and spicy. It’s special for cold weather; I used it in winter and finished it… I loved it… too bad I knew about it late and it’s no longer made, at least not in Argentina. Regarding imitations, it’s true that Bagués makes very similar and long-lasting fragrances, but they no longer make this one… it seems they go with the trend, dropping the classics and adding one or two new ones… If anyone knows where to get it, please let me know. I’m a blind buyer when it comes to perfumes; I rely heavily on Fragrantica and user suggestions. Many hits, but not with this one. I made the effort, and it still doesn’t please me, on top of that I bought the 75ml bottle. It’s very strong, lasts forever, and smells like jasmine but very plastic, nothing natural, very heavy. After the initial blast, the patchouli really stands out, giving it a somewhat masculine vibe. Unfortunately, it gives me a terrible headache. Maybe I’ll give it a shot in winter, otherwise it will go to whoever appreciates it.

It’s a special, seductive, and attractive fragrance. I’ve been using the classic for six years, but once I tried Absolutely on a friend and I loved it. It’s a blend of the classic with something woody and spicy. Ideal for cold climates, I used it in winter and it was gone… I adored it. It’s a shame it’s no longer produced, at least not in Argentina. I know Bagués made something similar and long-lasting, but they don’t anymore. It’s clear they’re following trends and ditching the classics. If anyone knows where to get it, let me know.

It starts acidic and harsh, settling into a smoky, intense, and sweet plane. Hello, olfactory fatigue! This Absolutely Irresistible is so potent that it overwhelms me in minutes, even though it leaves a trail: itching, itching, and painful nasal passages. It’s too penetrating, too thick. Even if my nose could penetrate its dense atmosphere, I wouldn’t end up liking it because it’s excessively voluptuous and shapeless. I’m not sad they discontinued it, sailor’s uniform with this fragrance! A nasal nightmare.

Absolutely Irresistible is an ultra-feminine, sophisticated, and sensual perfume, with marked fruity, white floral, amber, and slightly woody accords. The dimension added by the red fruits and cedar is intoxicating, and in my opinion, it’s the hallmark of the Givenchy house. Excellent trail and longevity. Good value for money. A complex, deep composition that is enjoyable at every moment and will undoubtedly receive many compliments. Who will like it: lovers of mega ultra-sensual and sophisticated perfumes.

What an extraordinary perfume! I’ve never smelled anything like it; it’s totally original, balanced, and very sensual. Super elegant and addictive! Excellent longevity like the other Very scents; I miss it so much. I’d love to find one like it; it’s one of my favorites and it’s discontinued. If anyone has one and can let me buy it or trade it for one from my collection, I’d be so happy, as I haven’t been able to get it in Argentina for over 10 years 😢.

It was the first perfume I bought with my salary from a steady job. I loved the scent; whenever I wore it, I liked how soft, elegant, floral, and sweet the aroma was. When it ran out and I went to look for it again, it was already discontinued 😔. Well, tastes are subjective. Nothing to do with the ‘Very Irresistible’ other than the name. Here, jasmine predominates—a soft, slightly sweet, modern combination. I recommend you try it and judge it for yourselves.

To me, it’s amazingly delicious, long-lasting, and attractive, very elegant. I gifted it to my mom and she was fascinated. It can still be found in a few places, but less and less. Highly recommended!!!!
