  • At first, it smells like Olympea Solar—that creamy, springtime citrus—but then you realize it has nothing to do with the usual 212 VIP Rosé.

  • First impressions after trying it today in the store: It doesn’t resemble the original VIP Rosé I own at all. For me, this is a perfume with a peach milk as the star. In the opening, it’s sparkling, sweet, and fruity; in the dry-down, it’s tremendously lactonic and slightly musky. I don’t notice the coffee, and the patchouli is barely there. A pleasant aroma that might remind you of other fruity scents with that creamy milk note, like Fame, though this CH is much denser and more lactonic, so they share aspects but aren’t that similar. It’s feminine, youthful, and daytime. Yes, it’s suitable only for non-diabetics, and although I see it for spring/summer, I wouldn’t use it on very hot days. It lasted about 5 hours on my skin with moderate/low projection. Simple scent, quite linear but pleasant. It doesn’t add anything new.

  • I like it more in the opening than in the dry-down; when I spray it, I feel the bergamot and musk, then the apricot timidly appears. Half an hour later comes the dry-down: basically jasmine with plenty of musk. I never smell the milk, patchouli, or coffee. It’s a pleasant scent that promises more in the opening than it delivers. Performance is like an EDT, about four hours at most, with almost no trail. A nice spring-summer cologne, not too sweet, not too citrusy, quite fresh and floral. Maybe it will mature and develop over time; for now, I like it, but its longevity seems too short for the price. It doesn’t add anything special to perfumery; it’s a rich, uncomplicated scent to enjoy on a summer day and pass without making a splash. Next year, I doubt anyone will remember it.

Anyone who says it smells like a milkshake is lying, and I understand scents are subjective, but there are real facts: THERE IS NO MILKSHAKE HERE. It’s a cloying, overly common scent you can get in any pharmacy body mist. That said, the bottle is pretty, high quality, and heavy, giving it the only plus that might (and I’m very high) make me buy it as a gift for an easily impressed teenager.

  • This perfume is an interesting blend of Cacharel’s Yes I Am Glorious and Narciso Rodríguez’s Pure Musc. It has a super lactonic opening; the first thing I thought of was a strawberry milkshake. But then that fruity note turns into the velvet sensation of a cheap candy. That’s where I find its similarity to Yes I Am Glorious: milk, peach skin, and fruity sweetness. I thought of the milky smell of Tic-Tacs in the box or the white, sweet scent of Trident gum. Of course, 212 VIP Rosé I Love NY is much more musky than Glorious and not tropical. It’s more musky than lactonic. On skin, after the milky opening, a clean, fluffy white musk appears, along with an airy, light jasmine. Those are the notes that last until the end. This combination (cheap candy, milk, jasmine, and musk) makes it a perfume full of sweet lactones and very white. I think the bottle represents the scent well. It feels very current (clean musks and ethereal milks) and many will like it. I loved it a lot. It doesn’t have much projection, but it makes you feel clean and put-together. Average longevity, like all 212s. Definitely for daytime or weekends. It doesn’t tire the nose. It’s very pretty.

  • It’s like an interesting mix between Cacharel’s Yes I Am Glorious and Narciso Rodríguez’s Pure Musc. The opening is super milky; I thought of a strawberry milkshake. For a moment, I knew Carolina Herrera wanted to make her own Cry Baby by Melanie Martínez, but then that fruity note turns into something velvety and a bit tacky. That’s when I see the similarity with Glorious: milk, peach skin, and sweetness. It smells like Tic-Tacs inside the box or white Trident gum. It’s much more musky than Glorious and less tropical. On skin, after that milky opening, a clean, fluffy white musk appears, along with an airy jasmine that lasts until the end. It’s a tacky, milky, jasmine, and musk combo, full of sweet lactones and very white. The bottle fits the scent perfectly. It feels very current, with those clean musks and ethereal milks that many people love. I loved it. Not much projection, but it makes you feel clean and dressed up. Medium longevity, like all 212s. Ideal for daytime or weekends; it’s not tiring and very pretty.

  • Hey, I just tried it. At first, it reminded me of the 212 Heroes women’s version, then it shifted to smelling like Olympea Solar. Although the previous ones didn’t convince me, this I❤️NY is the perfect blend. I love it, only it’s hard to find after that.

  • I liked the perfume. The longevity is over 24 hours; you wake up and it still smells, though every skin is different—in my case, the sillage is very good. I think it’s a great daily perfume, cheerful and different; the fruit and flower blend is quite sparkling. It’s clear it’s not niche, but among commercial scents, it’s one of the best of the last few months, especially since things have been so lackluster lately. As always, every skin is different; sometimes you’re surprised by comments—what smells divine to me might smell harsh or horrible to another. That’s the magic of perfume and skin pH. That’s why you should always test and smell; every skin is a world.

  • Hi… I just tried it. At first, it reminded me of the 212 Heroes for women, then Olympea Solar. While the previous ones didn’t convince me, the I❤️NY is the perfect blend. I love it, too bad I can’t find it anymore.

  • This perfume confirms what I suspected: what does a brand like Puig do with three such big houses? This new 212 VIP Rosé I ❤ NY is delicious but brings nothing new; it just recycles their best-selling fragrances. Naturally, it resembles VIP Rosé, which is itself a flanker of 212—a real puzzle. It opens with an intense musk that includes part of the old Rosé’s DNA, minus the champagne note that made it more energetic. Gradually, it takes on a very creamy, lactonic sweetness that reminds me… oh my god! of So Scandal, but without the sticky nard notes (which I actually like). This initial phase lasts an hour or more, and the dry-down is very similar to Olympea Solar (I prefer the latter). Anyway, another unnecessary flanker (not for the brands) because they flood drugstores with thousands of options and eventually sell them. I’m not against it; I enjoy mainstream fragrances a lot, but originality is missed, and we’re longing for the 80s and 90s when a launch was a huge event with beautiful campaigns, original bottles, and powerful scents. Today, sadly, they’re neutered by IFRA. This will undoubtedly make many young people swoon, but let’s be clear: nothing new under the sun. Decent performance for those interested.

  • I was dying to try this, and after just one spray, I was in the clouds. At first, it smells like freshly baked vanilla wafers, then sweet milk coffee. It’s super lactonic and cloying. It gave me a headache after just 5 minutes on my wrist. It has some of the Good Girl vibe from Carolina Herrera but doesn’t reach that level. If you like very sweet and strong perfumes, this is for you. I wouldn’t wear it for daily use, especially not in summer—maybe for a very cold night, but not often.

I think it’s a good daily perfume, cheerful and different; the fruit and flower mix is quite sparkly. Of course, it’s not niche, but among commercial scents, it’s one of the best of the last few months, because lately, things have been on the decline. As always, every skin is different: sometimes you’re surprised by the compliments, what smells divine to me might smell blaring or horrible to another. It’s the magic of perfume and skin pH. • I had high expectations, and a single spray was enough to bring me down from the clouds. The opening reminded me of a freshly baked vanilla biscuit, and as it dries, it smells slightly like very sweet coffee with milk. It’s very milky and sweet. It gave me a headache five minutes after applying it just to my wrist. It has a vibe similar to Good Girl by CH but doesn’t match up. If you like very cloying, strong, and milky perfumes, this is for you. I wouldn’t stand it for daily wear, and even less in summer; maybe for a night out in very cold weather, but not often.

  • I confirm what I suspected: Puig keeps recycling its hits. This new 212 VIP Rosé I ❤ NY is delicious but adds nothing new; it’s just more of the same flan we already know. It opens with a strong musk reminiscent of the old Rosé, loses the champagne energy, and turns sweet and milky, like a So Scandal without those nard notes I love so much. The dry-down is very similar to Olympea Solar, though I prefer that one. Anyway, another flanker to flood the stores and sell, lacking the originality of the 80s and 90s that we miss so much. Many young people will love it, but under the sun, it’s nothing new. Decent performance.

  • I tried the perfume and it lasted over 24 hours, though obviously it depends on everyone’s skin. Honestly, I love it.

I’ve caught a mango note in its opening. Then coffee with milk. I dislike the mango; it just couldn’t work for me. The milky aspect described really caught my attention…

  • I like it; it’s sexy. Perfect for going out at night, I wouldn’t wear it during the day. I would wear it in summer, but more in winter because it’s a bit heavy, but I do think it’s citrusy. It’s very sexy, not actually heavy. I smell it and it’s like “today we’re hitting the streets.” For a mature, coquettish, and playful woman (just for going to the disco) and/or a young, daring woman who wants to make an impression. If it’s something I’ve heard before, it reminds me quite a bit of Olympea, just a bit sparklier and fresher. It’s very pleasant; I’m not sure if I’d buy it, but I feel it’s one of those perfumes that on me would be a bomb, one of those where many people say “you smell so good,” but without being something different or exotic, just sexy and seductive. It smells like young wood and sparkly.

  • On my skin, the fruity notes stand out, followed by some light floral accords. I notice it’s super subtle, sweet but not cloying. I see it for daytime; it doesn’t have much trail and is very personal, just right for informal office work. I don’t see it for nighttime or formal occasions. Ideal for summer and spring.

I love the 212 bottles, and that little white bottle was smiling at me to buy it, however, I wanted to test it first, and luckily I did. It’s a rich scent, I can’t deny that, but it smells very similar to the 212s and the CH Queen I have (which is discontinued). Its opening is acidic due to the fruits, and then it settles on a patchouli (which I don’t like much) and pure musk. It resembles Fame a bit… I didn’t feel the coffee or the milky notes, at least on my skin, so I have to say goodbye.

It was love at first sniff… although it disappointed me a bit. Let’s go step by step: as soon as I smelled it in the store, I fell in love with its scent and presentation. It stayed pinned to my wishlist, and when I returned to buy it, I was torn between this and 212 Forever Young (many compare them, but I didn’t find any common points), so I chose the 212 VIP Rosé Love NY for its bottle and its coffee and milk notes (which are nothing like what I have). The first disappointment was getting home: my husband didn’t like it much and still doesn’t. Second disappointment: a student told me it was “too sweet,” and I felt it was suffocating. That’s when I realized it’s a strong perfume, not a soft one like many reviews say. In fact, right after applying it, I feel its notes give me a certain tickle in my nose and throat. Overall, at first, it’s rich but invasive, cloying, and shrill to the point of being annoying. Within the first half-hour, everything is covered up by the patchouli and musk. Only after that initial hour does that brilliance fade to give way to the cheesy and its milky notes. Then it becomes more bearable and soapy, with less projection. That’s when I like it, because wearing it makes me feel like I’m in front of a peach cake sweetened with cream and a coffee barely cut with frothed milk (though both notes are very soft). It becomes moderately gourmand and quite floral towards the end. Anyway, I use it seasonally and in winter. I avoid wearing it in the morning and prefer to apply it at night or at parties, being careful with the sprays. Conclusion: I continue to be in love with it, but it’s a love that must work day and day to keep me conquered. I love its bottle and the fact that it’s part of my collection, but now I’m giving it a break. Advice: don’t buy blindly and test it first to see how it behaves on each skin. On the plus side, I feel it doesn’t resemble anything I’ve tried, and that attracts me.

Neither here nor there, unfortunately. I expected a peach cake with lots of cream, vanilla, and coffee. Instead, I found a very talc-heavy, floral, musky, and clean scent. A real disappointment, luckily I could just try it. The peach, coffee, and milk don’t exist; on my skin, the musk really stands out. The good thing is it has great longevity; it lasted me three days. When it dries down, it reminds me of Zara’s Red Temptation and its clones: it’s rich, but it doesn’t drive me crazy enough to buy it right now. Obviously, the 212 line isn’t for me; it’s a very simple and nothing-new scent. Scent 5/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 10/10, Packaging 7/10, Versatility 8/10, Price/Quality 9/10. Would I buy it? NO.

  • The 212 VIP Rosé Love NY by Carolina Herrera is a marvel that offers an original and very attractive composition. The notes of patchouli, musk, and jasmine stand out, with milky hints that give it creaminess and coffee touches that add elegance. With very good performance, it’s an excellent designer option for women. It’s a scent anyone can rock, and it will attract compliments and constant looks.

  • Blondielicious

I’m reviewing it again because I want to share that, even though I know there are no pheromones, I find this perfume to have an extremely sexual and erotic touch. I’m not sure if it’s the milky note, the creamy musk, or what, but I feel it’s an organic scent that seduces too much. I find it warm and cozy. I hope no one takes offense, but I find something similar to Cmen. Honestly, that makes it sensual and exquisite. Perfect for a date or an intimate encounter. P.S.: My husband still doesn’t like it even a little, but it drives me crazy. What perfume could I layer it with? Has anyone tried mixing it? I hope someone answers because it’s new and I don’t want to throw it away. I want to enjoy it, even if I have to combine it. Thanks.

I feel like this is the sweetest and milkiest version of 212 Heroes Rose. This one smells more potent and sweet, whereas the other is fruitier and sparklier.
