I tested this fragrance at a jewelry store and couldn’t stop smelling my arm; I bought it shortly after. Fresh, sweet, floral, and woody… exquisite. Versatile for any time of year. Smells expensive. On my skin: Sillage 6/10, Longevity 7/10.
I had the chance to try several from Carolina Herrera, and the one I liked most was 212 VIP Rose Smile. It’s fresh, sweet, and floral with that characteristic 212 base. I’m a fan and bold with my reviews, but I base them on my senses: it makes me feel calm and relaxed. I wear it day and night, in warm and autumnal climates; it suits young people and young adults. Longevity and sillage are moderate; the price varies depending on where you buy it, but there are deals and it’s similar to the other 212s. I recommend it, it’s a limited edition, and it’s worth experiencing the scent.
Still testing it in a decant and it’s very rich; I really detect the violet. I wore it on a scorching hot night and the longevity is flawless, though maybe it’s better for a less oppressive day. I don’t usually wear Carolina Herrera, so I’m getting used to their style, but it smells great, has presence, and projects an elegant image without being ‘stuffy’. A good versatile evening scent that makes you look good. I see it as original without being eccentric. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 6/10, Compliments 0. Would I buy it? No.
As always, 212 is unique and spectacular. On my skin, it feels sweeter and more exquisite than its citrus-woody notes suggest. Perfect for a sunny day. My favorite from Carolina Herrera.
