  • Purely floral scent with violets and lily in the opening, then jasmine and roses, and a soft, soapy, talcum-like sandalwood base, all drenched in warm honey. It’s romantic, feminine, sensual, warm, and intoxicating. Elegant, classic, and sophisticated, for semiformal or formal wear. Good longevity as an EDT and moderate sillage; it doesn’t bother, but spray prudently: less is more. The bottle is gorgeous, a dazzling red imitating a door with a rectangular ruby-style cap. Ideal for autumn and winter nights.

  • Unmatched blend of orange blossom, rose, jasmine, and honey; leaves an enameled trail but very pleasant. It is ELEGANCE and DISTINCTION, honoring its name without being scandalous, a gateway to SENSUALITY. A CLASSIC from the late 80s and 90s, Arden’s flagship. Reminds me of the 80s Silkience shampoo and the mid-90s Naturesque lipstick from Avon.

  • Anabella7

Fresh, elegant, and packed with attitude. It’s a powerful scent that screams sensuality and mystery. Just a heads-up: this isn’t for young girls or hot summer days.

  • Anabella7

Elegant, seductive, and potent oriental floral. It’s a strong scent that exudes sensuality and mystery. Not suitable for young girls or hot climates.

  • Intense red rose opening covering the whole face, then talcum; it’s quite powdery and reminds me of an elegant older girl. I perceive herbal notes not listed. Honey is the figure formed by the excessive sweetness, cloying, nothing like modern gourmands, it’s simple floral honey. Ylang-ylang wraps everything and is the main flower after the rose; if you don’t smell it, something is wrong. I smell vetiver, pepper, and something earthy, very different from what was expected. I don’t know if it’s the classic version without the 25 on the bottle. Longevity is a mystery, wide sillage. I’d gift it to someone older, the ‘Red Door’ of the 70s who would love it. I’ll stay a few years younger. Not suitable for summer, yes for spring if you don’t want to attract insects; it’s a night scent.

  • It starts with an intense red rose all over the face, then turns into talcum powder. It’s a very powdery fragrance that reminds me of an elegant older girl. I, on the other hand, detect herbal notes, slightly present, even though they aren’t listed. The honey? Probably just the shape it takes; it’s so sweet it feels cloying. Note: I’m not talking about modern gourmands with vanilla or chocolate; this is simple floral honey sweetness. I don’t get why ylang-ylang has so few votes if it completely wraps around the essence. If you don’t smell it much, something’s off, because after the rose, I think it’s the main flower. I do detect vetiver; that must be the herbal or earthy note I’m sensing, and I even catch a hint of pepper. I don’t know why I perceive it so differently. I don’t think I’m wrong, but my bottle doesn’t say 25, so I assume it’s the classic version. Longevity is a mystery; we’ll give it time. The sillage is wide—I’d gift it to someone a bit older in my family, maybe someone turning seventy at the red door. I bet she’d love it. I’ll stick with it for a few more years. Definitely not for summer, but great for spring if you don’t mind attracting insects. It’s definitely a nighttime scent.

  • Red Door: this version is feminine, elegant, and festive, softer and more modern than the original but just as potent. At first, a burst of lily of the valley, very interesting, with freesia and a fruity touch that affirms femininity. Orange blossom and red roses dominate the heart, then ylang-ylang enters along with a soft talcum-jasmine. Honey is the star: foamy, viscous, and sweet. Sandalwood appears strong but doesn’t dominate, mixed with a light patchouli and a charming incense with blackberries. Rich and opulent, I associate it with New Year’s Eve parties. Very comforting, magnificent sillage, lasts 10 hours on skin and days on clothes. Ideal for cold climates and night outings.

  • I swear, smelling it gives me a brutal patchouli note (even though it’s not listed) along with rancid, synthetic honey and some sandalwood. It made me think I’d spiked my blood sugar just by smelling it. Luckily, it didn’t last long before softening into the flowers (ylang-ylang, rose, violet, and jasmine). The longevity and sillage are amazing; it deserves a spot in my collection, but I can’t handle its opening (even though I love sweet scents). Simply put, I can’t.

  • I swear I smell a brutal patchouli (even though it’s not listed) along with rancid, synthetic honey and some sandalwood; it made me think of a blood sugar spike. Thanks to heaven it didn’t last long and then softened with the flowers like ylang-ylang, rose, violet, and jasmine. Longevity and sillage are wonderful, it deserves a spot, but I can’t handle the opening despite liking the sweetness. Simply, I can’t.

I bought it after testing many perfumes, and it stood out from the rest. I’m not sure if that’s a good sign, because today is the day I’ve used it the least. The moment you apply it, the scent and sillage are incredibly strong. It smells like a mature woman; yes, it’s floral, but the oriental notes really shine through—you can definitely smell the honey if you’re paying attention. Very powdery. I approve of it because it smells unique, but I wouldn’t want to walk around the world smelling as sweet and powdery as an older lady.

I bought it after trying many and it stood out, but today it’s the one I use the least. The opening and sillage are very strong; it smells like a mature woman’s perfume, yes it’s floral, but what stands out most are the oriental notes and that honey if you’re looking for it. Very powdery. I approve of it for being different, but I wouldn’t mind walking around smelling so sweet and powdery like an older lady.

Luxury-level performance; it lasts days on clothes and over ten hours on the skin. Smells mature, vintage, with that classic 90s sweetness. It’s a floral-woody, powdery scent that could easily overwhelm, so I use it with respect. Not for blind buys. The best part? Low cost and easy to find. The three Bs: good, beautiful, and cheap.

Luxury performance: lasts days on clothes and over 10 hours on skin with strong projection. It’s a mature, vintage scent with that classic 90s sweet touch, honeyed floral and powdery, which can overwhelm if not used with respect. Not for blind buys. The best part: low cost and accessible. The three B’s: good, beautiful, and cheap.

  • Belvedere

A classic floral with honey, elegant and seductive, nothing like those trendy edible sweets. Perfect for romantic dates; longevity and sillage are top-notch, but use it in moderation. Ideal for cultured women with presence; the immature or ‘choni’ types should stay away.
