I still have a 2015 deodorant spray that holds a piece of my 14-year-old self, haha. I loved it. It’s pleasant, fresh, and youthful, but very generic—ideal only for casual use like hitting the gym or fresh out of the shower.
It’s a bit strong and smells very similar to Hugo Boss Man. A super masculine scent; for the price, it’s an excellent option with great longevity, and it’s earned me several compliments.
At first, it smells like alcohol, but soon a pleasant apple note emerges. I like the opening: that apple with a menthol kick, not too subtle but well-received. As it settles, it stays fruity/green but becomes sweeter. Longevity and sillage are light, but the quality is correct for the price. There are better options in the same range. Fresh fragrance, generic but pleasant (if your nose isn’t scared off by non-niche scents). Smells like juicy green apple, citrus, slightly mentholated, and a touch spicy. It evokes cleanliness, like just out of the shower, perfect for informal situations like the gym, the beach, or relaxed outdoor walks. Longevity and sillage are average on my skin; I find it more youthful than adult, maybe for ages 13 to 25?
My favorite Playboys are Miami, Vip, and Malibu, in that order. This perfume is very pleasant and isn’t the typical pharmacy or supermarket cologne smell. Performance isn’t amazing, but it’s pretty decent. It opens with a green apple note and lots of mint, very fresh. Later, iris kicks in, turning slightly powdery along with some woody notes.
I owned it, one of the first I bought; such a rich fragrance. Pity the longevity; I wished someone had told me about a similar scent with better staying power.
