I’ve been hunting for this for months and finally got it as a 75ml gift. Without a doubt, it’s the best gardenia scent I’ve ever tried: juicy, fresh, and very feminine. The green notes keep it from feeling heavy, like stepping into a garden of white flowers. It’s a classic Van Cleef, but not retro—perfect for any age. Nothing like the Chanel one. Now that it’s cold, it lacks a little spark; its moment is summer, so I’m saving it until the temps rise to try it again. If you love gardenia, this is your perfume. P.S. I’m saying it’s the best for me, but I haven’t tried Tom Ford’s Velvet Gardenia yet, which everyone raves about; the fact that it’s unisex makes me hesitate a bit.
