Berry Nightfall by Zara: A Sweet New Fragrance for 2026

Zara introduces Berry Nightfall, a women's fragrance launched in 2026 and classified as floral fruity gourmand. It leans into a soft, mouthwatering sweetness with a bright opening and a cozy base.

The perfume is a new addition to Zara's lineup, with a playful yet sophisticated character. With just a few carefully chosen notes, it creates an inviting scent that is easy to wear.

The scent opens with red berries, a juicy and slightly tart note that makes the first impression lively and fresh. As it settles, jasmine emerges at the heart, adding a smooth, white floral elegance that tempers the sweetness.

The base is built around cotton candy, the defining gourmand ingredient. This gives Berry Nightfall a powdery, sugary finish that feels nostalgic without becoming cloying, thanks to the freshness carried over from the top notes.

Its main accords are sweet, caramel, white floral, fruity, and powdery. The combination of ripe berries and radiant jasmine keeps the fragrance from feeling too heavy, while the cotton candy creates a soft, lingering trail.

Berry Nightfall works as an everyday fragrance for those who enjoy a feminine, candy-like scent with a touch of sophistication. It is easy to wear and leaves a distinctive yet approachable sillage.

Early user ratings give the fragrance an average of 4.38 out of 5, based on 8 ratings. With just a couple of written reviews so far, it is still a new release, but it appears to be winning over fans of gourmand perfumes.

This fragrance is ideal for women who love sweet, fruity scents with a soft powdery drydown, especially anyone looking for a daily perfume with a gourmand edge.

Berry Nightfall is a charming addition to Zara's lineup, offering a simple but effective twist on the gourmand genre. Its blend of red berries, jasmine, and cotton candy makes it a sweet, feminine choice with broad appeal.

  1. Since it came out a few months ago, I think two or three, I wanted to try it, but for one reason or another they never had a tester. Just two weeks ago I was able to try it, and I really liked it. I should mention that a few minutes earlier I also tried Chaotic Berries by Zara (I was about to buy it), but I found this one and liked it more, because it is more elegant and I was looking for something with that characteristic. Because of that, I feel it could be more for nighttime use, but I think wearing it during the day wouldn’t be a problem. You can really perceive the red berries and the jasmine, and very little cotton candy. I didn’t get the Chaotic because it was mentioned that it had maple syrup and leather, and I only noticed the red berries. If you’re looking for something with fruit notes, I recommend Berry Nightfall instead.

  2. Really, it smells like warm caramel, which could be interpreted as cotton candy, but it doesn’t smell like berries or jasmine. It also has no sillage or longevity… a definite no.
