I don’t usually review new releases, but this was an instant love at first sniff. Oh my god, what a masterpiece! Right out of the bottle, it’s very earthy, reminiscent of Iris Malikhan, but as it dries down, it becomes silky, waxy, and sweet. The dry-down leaves me speechless; at that point, it smells more like Dior Homme Intense. Not the perfect time to wear it—not because it’s uncomfortable, but I think in the cold it would shine even brighter. I recommend it to death! 🫶🏻
This scent is an absolute gem, my favorite from the house. It shares that iris DNA with others (like Dior Homme), but here it blends from the start with a sweet violet that takes the lead. I love that although it’s powdery and has a vintage vibe, the iris becomes buttery as it dries; at the same time, the nutty notes and soft vanilla velvetize everything with cashmere. The result is a super cozy, easy-to-wear iris for men or women. I’d wear it all year round. Longevity exceeds 10 hours, with notable projection and sillage for the first 6-7 hours (afterward it’s closer but still perceptible). I’d love to have it to share with my partner.
