SOAPY NEW RELEASE 🧼 First fragrance from Acne Studios, the rising fashion house, created before Frederic Malle left his own brand. Smells amazing! It’s clean, soapy, with moderate projection but great longevity, unisex and minimalist. Opens with aldehydes that evoke Marseille soap or fabric softener, mixed with orange blossom. Then it softens with white musk, like a clean second skin. In the dry down, on my skin, it leaves a very subtle peach note, faint and not too sweet. There are cheaper options just as good, in the same vein as Blanche Byredo or Room Service by Vilhelm Parfumerie.
Agreeing with the previous review. To me, it’s unisex, but a gentleman in a white shirt could definitely wear it. It’s like Marseille soap elixir without dilution, the pure concentrate. It has a similar vibe to Couleur Primaire Les EAUX Primordiales, though the latter smells more like fabric softener than bar soap.
What a masterpiece. You take the aldehydic base of vintage Chansels and sweeten it with violets. It results in an ultra-clean fabric softener aroma with a sweet touch, utterly addictive. It’s driven me crazy and it’s shot up to the top of my wishlist.

I never use fabric softener because of the overpowering scent. This Acne Studio seems to have gone overboard with the Mimosin vibe. It smells good and clean, but only if you want to smell like super-concentrated fabric softener. On my skin, I don’t detect anything else. It’s not for me.
I agree, it smells like a vintage Chanel. Fresh, floral, musky, and with a clean touch.
You’re right, it smells clean. The projection and longevity are brutal with zero olfactory fatigue, so you can wear it all day. It’s like fabric softener with steroids and cotton candy. Some might think it’s cheap, but collectors adore it. When you’re passionate about perfumes and your collection is a luxury showcase, sometimes you need something basic and pleasant to rest from the excess. Acne Studios stays in my collection for its versatility; it works for any season or gender. I give it 9/10, though the price is high.
