Suzy Le Helley
By nature passionate and curious, Suzy Le Helley draws her inspiration from the diversity of natural aromas and plants she discovers through her travels. Canada, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, El Salvador, Brazil and even Lebanon are all destinations that fuel her creativity. However, Madagascar remains special to her: a country where she spent time understanding the work of local communities, whom she likes to pay tribute to in her fragrances using many ingredients from the Red Island. Trained at the Symrise Perfumery School and alongside the company’s biggest perfumers, she caught the attention of Annick Ménardo and Maurice Roucel, master perfumers who would become her mentors. By working with short formulas, Le Helley’s olfactory style is easily understood and legible. She likes to innovate and juggle the limitations linked to her different areas of work, such as candles or 100% natural fragrances, to name just a few.
