Agua Drop by Loewe

Smells citrusy and floral, super fresh yet elegant. Delicious for hot days, it gives a refreshing sensation on the skin. I’m a bit disappointed by the longevity, but it’s not surprising given the notes. I have a decant, maybe I’ll buy it someday, though the longevity doesn’t make it urgent.

I enjoyed it all last summer. Ideal for days over 29°C: clean, fresh, and floral. It suits linen and beach vibes. It lasts through a full workday. Simple but very unisex, it works equally well for men and women. The only downside is that it’s pricey, and there might be better alternatives with the same notes. Still, a 2025 discovery for high temperatures. I recommend it 100% if you like clean, fresh scents for hot weather.

Love at first sniff; this is the definition of cleanliness and neatness. A fresh, clean, and beautiful perfume that doesn’t bother you even if you overapply it. Completely unisex. The longevity is superior to almost any super citrusy/fresh perfume I’ve tried with this quality of ingredients; it’s a beast in its category—I can still smell it on my skin after 7 or 8 hours. I understand why it’s not talked about much, as it’s not the most assertive, but if you’re a fan of fresh colognes like Dior, Givenchy, or Adolfo Domínguez, you’d better try it soon. You might find your perfect perfume. A complete 10/10; I’ve found my favorite.

A must, so far, the latest refreshing perfume hit from the brand for warm climates. In my opinion, it’s completely unisex, even more so than the original Loewe Agua, which feels more floral. It opens fresh, incredibly clean, with an exquisite citrus hint, and develops a base where the orange blossom and, above all, the labdanum accord give it an original, striking, and lasting touch, contrasting with the initial freshness. The leather isn’t noticeable but helps add depth and longevity. Excellent perceived quality, like the rest of Loewe’s fragrances, whether you like them or not. Good longevity for this type of aroma and being an ‘eau’ focused more on summer: it reaches 6 hours and shows good projection for an hour and a half, after which it stays in a nice personal bubble. For an aroma in this family, no matter the price, you can’t ask for much more in terms of performance. It’s easy to wear and even easier to like, but it still contains quite a bit of personality and is distinguishable from other waters playing the same game. If it’s on sale, it’s worth it, especially for its quality and originality, standing out among other light fragrances. Reading other reviews, I agree that this Agua Drop has the virtue of evoking deep summer memories. Cheers!

Great for the heat and unisex, but there are better options for the price.

I tried it in the heat and it smells clean and fresh, like a sea breeze. I agree with Ocio and Lara: it reminds me of Mar de Coral but more subtle, and that smell of my hometown from my childhood summers. It brought back memories from 40 years ago: heat, beach, swimsuit, floaties, lotion… an instant journey.

I think Loewe nailed it for mid-summer. There aren’t many floral citrus scents that deliver freshness and elegance in the heat. The opening is almost sweet and juicy, like a mojito, but the real star is that clean, crisp dry-down with a beautifully orchestrated floral woody touch. It carries some of the Mar de Coral base with that signature casual freshness. Perfect for daily wear, an evening stroll, or feeling like you just stepped out of the spa. As for the price, well, it’s Loewe: they aim for exclusive profiles, and as a scent for everyday use, the cost can seem outrageous to many.

I have a sample and I’ve tested it on my skin five times already. I’m not sure if I’m anosmic or what, but I barely smell anything. I rub my wrist and press my nose right against it; it’s pretty and clean, smelling like starched laundry or just out of the shower, but it’s faint. For the 100 euros the bottle costs, it’s not worth it. Check the notes: no heart or base, just the top.
