A super sexy perfume. Dark, deep vanilla, slightly resinous, accompanied by an “oud” that, to my nose, feels much more like leather, black leather, elegant and enveloping. It’s not aggressive or animalistic; it’s warm leather, softened by vanilla and resins, making it addictive. The composition is simple, but that’s where its greatness lies; nothing is superfluous, nothing is missing. Every note is exactly where it should be, and that sets it apart from many perfumes trying to impress with unnecessary complexity. Orom is absolute balance and security. It’s an extremely elegant and seductive perfume, completely unisex, though clearly leaning masculine. Still, if you’re a woman and know how to rock this perfume, ufff, forget it. It’s pure power. The name fits perfectly; if gold had a smell, it would definitely be this. Sober luxury, silent presence, but impossible to ignore. Performance is spectacular, firm sillage, impeccable longevity, and an evolution that stays true to its DNA from start to finish. Nothing more to say, this and Azaran are my favorite Bvlgari gems, highly recommended. Worth every penny.

  3. I could say it’s the best perfume I’ve bought this year, nothing surprising given the price tag. Although it reminds me of others, the truth is it has something that makes me addictive. I’ll surely buy it again when I finish the bottle. It’s a simple perfume, doesn’t bring anything new to perfumery, but in its simplicity, it’s spectacular: vanilla and wood. If you like that combo, you should at least try it.

  4. I totally agree with Albert’s review: in essence, it’s simple, vanilla, oud wood, and resins, but it’s an experience. You can feel the quality and elegance. A pleasant oud, nothing invasive considering it’s a note that usually overwhelms due to its strength. The vanilla is top-tier, making it dark and woody, inviting people to get closer. The first hours are an olfactory party, good longevity, met expectations.

  5. I’d dare say it’s the best vanilla perfume. If we think of vanilla-forward fragrances with that note at the forefront, 99% of the time we think of scents that directly smell like dessert. This is not the case. It’s a dark, woody vanilla with minimal sweetness. Super elegant and serious. Without a doubt, a worthy masterpiece to own!

  7. One of the best vanilla perfumes I’ve smelled, a very different, dark vanilla. It’s quite simple but very elegant, and it’s rare to say this about a vanilla-based perfume. With very little: oud, resins, and vanilla, basically it smells like a very elegant, resinous oud wrapped in a cloud of vanilla with very subdued sweetness. I even detect a smoky, boozy touch, even if not declared. Longevity is extremely good, giving me 10-12 hours perfectly without reapplication; applied at 8-9 PM and I wake up the next day still smelling it. Projection is fairly average, but for this perfume, it has to be so; it doesn’t seek to invade, it seeks to invite people to get closer. If it were a projection bomb, it would lose all elegance. -Scent: 9 -Longevity: 9 -Projection: 7 -Versatility: 7

Rich, very serious for very particular occasions, calm. I’ve tried better things.

  9. If there is an adoptive perfume, with vanilla but not sweet, it’s Orom. The base of oud and resins is the foundation for the Bourbon vanilla to be the protagonist. We are facing the top of vanilla perfumes. A work of art, without so much fuss of notes; with a few, they manage to be different and exquisite. 10. I’m not a huge vanilla fan, but so far this is the best men’s vanilla I’ve tried. It doesn’t shine at first, but as it dries down, the vanilla blends with intoxicating woods and resins. The result is a dark, woody vanilla that overflows with elegance. I don’t detect much oud, but I think that’s what gives it that woody charm. Everything is meticulously cared for and masterfully blended. Longevity on skin is excellent, over 12 hours, oily and dense. It doesn’t project much or have a huge sillage, but it’s noticeable all day. This is OROMolido… what a beautiful perfume. What a pity about the price… although luckily you can find it for 180-200€.

  11. I’m not a big fan of the vanilla note, but so far, I think this is the best men’s vanilla I’ve encountered. It doesn’t stand out especially in the opening, but it does in the dry down where the vanilla blends with intoxicating woods and resins. The result is a dark, woody vanilla that pours elegance in abundance. I don’t smell much oud, but I think that’s what gives it the woody charm. Everything in this fragrance is carefully crafted and mixed masterfully. Longevity on skin is excellent, superior to 12 hours, it’s oily and dense. I don’t get the impression that it projects much or has a great sillage, but you definitely notice it throughout the day. This is truly OROMolido, what a beautiful perfume. What a pity about the price, although with luck, if you search, you can find it for 180-200€.

I own this perfume, it has little hype, in fact, it was hard for me to find reviews online, but I appreciate that because this perfume is crazy. When you first apply it, you feel the wood and benzoin present, a serious, slightly sweet opening, but as hours pass, it sweetens up and the vanilla resurfaces, but a quality vanilla, not just any vanilla, which makes this one of my favorites. If you go out on the street with this, they’ll hardly recognize it, which is a plus. Besides having very good projection and longevity, I applied it at 8:00 AM, it’s 1:24 PM, and I still smell it constantly; it’s a perfume with over 8 hours of longevity. Ratings: Sillage: 9 Longevity: 9 Scent: 10 Intensity: 9 Season: Autumn, Winter Price: I got a tester, good price.

Just acquired, a perfume by Sophie Labbé, A BEAUTY of woods. Here I leave the missing notes. TOP: Bourbon Vanilla Planifolia and Recycled Virginia Cedar Wood Essence. HEART: Benzoin Siam Resinoid and Golden Amber Accord. BASE: Assam Oud Essence and Australian Sandalwood Wood Essence. Lasts 24 hours. Just three sprays are enough, projecting for 8 hours, the rest within a 1-meter bubble; if you give it air, you still leave a trail. A perfume worth the price. I recommend it 100%, especially because it has no hype.

  15. Try and buy: this Gem line surprises vanilla lovers again. It opens with creamy vanilla and a touch of tobacco that sweetens the experience without being cloying. It feels like the best parts of Red Tobacco, Stronger With You, and By The Fireplace combined. I don’t detect the oud, but it’s not needed. Longevity and projection are ten out of ten. Another favorite gem, 9/10.

Trying and buying it was a total hit. This Gem line surprises vanilla lovers again, offering an incredible sublimation. It starts with creamy vanilla, and to my nose, I also detect tobacco; both notes blend to sweeten this masterpiece toward a semi-gourmand side without being cloying. It’s like combining the best of Red Tobacco, Stronger With You, and By The Fireplace into one. I don’t notice the oud, but it doesn’t need it to be a success. Longevity and projection are stellar. Another favorite gem, for sure. 9/10.
