It’s a fragrance where patchouli rules, and honestly, I was surprised by how similar it smells to the classic Givenchy Gentleman. Keep in mind, though, that this Afnan version is about 80% of the original because it’s lighter, fresher, and more talc-like. You can tell they’ve modernized it, making it super versatile for day or night wear. If you love patchouli, it’s a total hit—very pleasant and personal. I absolutely loved it.

Unpretentious, clean, and aromatic. It starts citrusy and dries down soapy. The wood notes are there all the time; it smells great and lasts at least 7 hours without issues. Good projection and versatile, ideal for daily use, especially during the day. It’s not that dark, earthy, or chocolatey patchouli many people seek, but rather a bright, herbal, and fresh one that stays strong until the end. Reminds me of some fougères from the 70s and 80s, with a very present lavender. Delicious, buy blind; it wasn’t what I imagined, but it doesn’t disappoint. P.S.: I’ve been wearing Patchouli On Fire for days, and I must say there’s not much patchouli here. The aromatic notes and spices seem to be the protagonists, but it doesn’t take anything away. It’s exquisite, top-tier, smells clean, and its versatility is incredible. It works for any occasion.

Last Christmas, I received 12 decants as gifts, and they were all hits. This would be the first of those 12 I’d buy in full size. If you’re a patchouli lover, consider this wonder as your top choice.

It’s not for guys under 20; this is for people with adult, refined, authentic, and outstanding class. It’s a bold, daring, serious, and authentic scent.
