Afnan’s Tochada Rush is a gem that, while sharing DNA with others, boasts its own distinct identity. Don’t wear it to the office or out with friends; save it for intimate, close moments. It evokes pure seduction in every note: elegant and formal, but above all sensual and provocative. The tobacco is always present, yet not dry or harsh, but softened, as if lined with velvet, creating a cozy atmosphere. The notes are subtle and more wearable than Tom Ford’s Tobacco Oud, with performance that delivers. The quality of the ingredients makes people sigh in admiration. It’s simply fantastic; I loved it. Perfectly unisex. The only downside is it’s for special occasions only, always at night and in cool or cold weather. Scent: 10/10. Projection: Good. Longevity: Good. Value: Unbeatable. Highly recommended.
Tochada Rush by Afnan is a masterpiece that resembles many scents but stands out from all of them. I feel it’s best suited for special occasions rather than the office or daytime social events. It’s a refined, suggestive fragrance that evokes close, intimate encounters, with all its aromatic seduction embedded in its notes. Elegant? Absolutely. Formal? Also. But it’s very sensual and provocative. As the name suggests, it’s all tobacco, yet not dry or harsh, but softened, like velvet-lined tobacco, giving a cozy feeling. All its notes are very subtle and more wearable than Tom Ford’s Tobacco Oud, with decent performance. The quality of its notes is absolutely captivating. Simply fantastic, I loved it so much. Perfectly unisex. Maybe the only detail is that it’s basically for special occasions, always nighttime in cool or cold climates. Scent: 10/10. Projection: Good. Longevity: Good. Value for money: Unbeatable. Highly recommended.
Bought blind… Absolute mistake. I haven’t liked it at all. I haven’t found the tobacco note anywhere; I only perceive sweet, soft, and vanilla-like notes.
Bought blind… total mistake. I didn’t like it at all. I couldn’t find any tobacco note anywhere; I only perceive sweet, soft, and vanilla-like notes.
Incredibly fantastic. It’s a refined tobacco, not sweet, with medium-resinous woods. A proper tobacco scent. I own several tobacco fragrances, but they tend to be overly sweet, which isn’t always good. Red Tobacco is very sweet, and Aramis Tobacco Reserva is also a gem. Now I’ll see if I buy another new release.
Exquisite, but not for everyone. If you love natural tobacco, softened by spices and velvety notes like suede, this is for you. January update: after a year, I confirm it’s not for every nose or young guys. It doesn’t generate many compliments. If you’re a man with potent masculine energy and character, it could be yours. I used it sparingly because it’s not suitable for dates or meetings; it shines in fall and winter. If you find it between $25 and $45, it’s a safe blind buy. If it’s more expensive, look for something more polished. I speak plainly without lying, just like in my YouTube videos.
Exquisite perfume. It’s not for everyone or every occasion, but if you’re a lover of tobacco in its ‘natural state’, perhaps softened by spices and velvety notes (like suede), this could be your match. Update (January 26): I returned to this review after a query and wanted to share my opinion after owning the bottle for over a year—’using’ it, so to speak, and having already reviewed it on the channel. First: it’s not suitable for every nose, nor for most young people, and it won’t generate many compliments. If you consider yourself a real man, with potent masculine energy, well-handled, a true alpha male, then this could be your perfume. I said ‘using it’ because it has very few real opportunities for wear; for social gatherings, dates, or friend meetups, it’s not convenient. It’s an autumnal perfume, mainly winter, where it will surely stand out more. One last thing: if you have the character described, you can buy it without hesitation between $25 and $45; for you, it could be a blind buy. If it’s more expensive, better look for another, more renowned, and more ‘polished’ perfume. I like to say things as they are, without lies or exaggerations; I make honest perfume videos on YouTube for anyone wanting to get closer. Welcome (aromasyemociones).
Starts with an intense tobacco note backed by wood, but fades quickly to leave a spiced, sweet tobacco. After a while, it reminds me of Mancera’s Red Tobacco with that touch of oud, amber, and cedar. It’s not very evolving; more linear. The sweetness drops off, leaving it dry, spicy, and resinous. Even though it’s meant for fall-winter, I tried it in June at the gym and loved how long it lasted.
It opens with a slightly intense tobacco note, boosted by woody accords, then fades quickly to reveal a spiced tobacco with sweet, warm touches. Over time, it reminds me a bit of Mancera’s Red Tobacco, with that touch of oud, amber, and cedar (though in Red Tobacco it’s guaiac wood). I don’t feel it’s very evolving; rather, it seems almost linear throughout its life, losing its slight sweetness to become a dry, spiced tobacco with woody-resinous nuances. Although it’s recommended for fall-winter, I wore it today, June 21st, to the gym and loved its performance.
