Everything I’ve tried from Maison Crivelli has left me speechless. None of them are indifferent. Inspired by the owner’s travels, maybe they aren’t as original because they borrow parts from known perfumes, but their virtues are at maximum. They achieve a magical balance, use quality materials, and take things a step beyond the familiar, making you say: ‘it reminds me of this, but it’s better’. Here we all know there’s iris, leather, and amber. What makes Iris Malikhân different? A twist on the powdery makeup iris. It’s intense, like soft but thick butter, greasy, creamy, and delirious. It smells rich, dark, animalic, and unique, making you want to know more. The ingredient usage is masterful. There’s nothing that doesn’t make sense. The cypriol gives freshness, the resins add balsamic creaminess, and the mimosa (with an animal touch) and leather wrap it in something dark and dirty that blurs it beautifully. Wearing it is like going to a fresh sunset in a green landscape, almost at night, where your sensual and mysterious aura stands out. It’s like a cape and a hat that only shows your profile, feeding the curiosity of whoever looks at you. Gorgeous. Totally unisex, notable performance (though maybe not worth the price), versatile if applied well, ideal for autumn and winter. Totally recommended, both this one and all the brand’s perfumes.
Iris Malikhân, what a beast of a perfume 😍. Blind buy thanks to Ester ❤️. Smells like pure originality. The evolution is brutal, one of the best I’ve tried. At first, the galbanum hits hard; that green note doesn’t suit everyone (I hate it), but… I recommend it because once it dries, it’s a whole different world. It becomes super creamy, a powdery iris but soft and buttery, with antelope leather, vanilla, cinnamon, and amber, plus a tiny spicy kick of raspberry and pepper. It’s one of my all-time favorites 😍. Definitely has gourmand notes, of course. At least, give it a try; it’s surprising and gorgeous 😍.
Iris Malikhân, what a bombshell 😍. Blind buy thanks to Ester ❤️. Super original aroma with an incredible evolution. At first, it smells a lot of galbanum; that green note doesn’t suit everyone (like me), but you have to try it. When it dries (and it’s incredible how it changes), it becomes creamy: powdery iris but soft and buttery, with antelope leather, vanilla, cinnamon, and amber, plus a tiny spicy kick of raspberry and pepper. I think it’s one of the best I’ve ever had 😍. Definitely has gourmand notes, of course. At least give it a try; it’s surprising and gorgeous 😍.
It reminds me overwhelmingly of Dior Homme, same style, but coincidentally they only share one note: the iris. In this Maison Crivelli unisex, there’s a kinder, even feminine, version of the iris. It’s well paired with a subtle, elegant vanilla that makes it partially gourmand. I detect autumn qualities; it gives me a nutty sensation, perhaps the sweetened leather with cinnamon. It’s a beast of a perfume, warm, subtly floral, and powerfully ambered. It stands out in any occasion. Refined, elegant, perceptible, with spectacular longevity. Lasts all day on skin and even longer on clothes. For me, one of the best from Maison Crivelli.

Iris Malikhan seemed different to me, based on an iris I like more and more, but it didn’t quite convince me. It’s very powdery and sharp at first, becoming more pleasant over time with woody nuances and slight sweetness. The leather adds depth, and as it dries, creaminess appears, its best side. It reminds me of Italian Leather, but with fewer green nuances and a different dry-down. It’s an excellent scent, high quality as everything from the brand, with elements that distinguish it among iris perfumes (except for the similarity to Memo). For cold or mild weather, slightly more feminine unisex in my opinion, suitable for various occasions except casual ones. Excellent performance. It deserves its reputation, but I’d opt for other iris treatments and perfumes from the brand. Note: 7/10

Iris Malikhan moves away from the sweet, creamy iris of Infusion d’Iris into deeper, darker territory. Here, leather and woods take the lead, with a solid, enveloping structure that gives it an intensely masculine air, though it doesn’t care about gender or age. Even as it dries, a subtle tobacco nuance emerges, unexpected, adding complexity and warmth despite not being listed. A characterful perfume that challenges the softness of iris to offer a rich, sophisticated experience. A great perfume, without a doubt.
Maison Crivelli is interesting with good perfumes, and here their Iris Malikhan is a showstopper. Iris is notoriously difficult to handle, and this is the best I’ve heard. When you love it this much, technical analysis matters less. It’s a buttery, tasty iris with a slightly green character at the start due to cypress, galbanum, and juniper, which adds resinous notes. The base is amber with the presence of ambergris and a light vanilla—nothing cloying, but with a rich, sweet tone. It’s a treat for dressing up, unisex, with great performance, attractive, rich, and warm. A showstopper. Kudos to Marc Zini from Robertet for achieving perfect balance in such a difficult composition. Cheers.
Very pleasant fruity iris. Feminine unisex to my nose. Great performance.
Maison Crivelli surprises with this iris, vanilla, and green masterpiece—sour yet indulgent. Finally pleasant, spicy, and lightly vanilla. The iris and carrot are well integrated; the interaction is harmonious and fluid. The authentic, powdery iris is the center, backed by a pleasantly sweet vanilla that deepens with time. The leather and galbanum add depth and bitterness, a mini chypre accent. A beautiful, inspiring scent, elegantly oriental and perfect for autumn. I wore it out at night in the rain and cold. At first, the iris stands out (buttery), not powdery but green, wet, earthy, and slightly acidic. As it dries over hours, it shifts from sour, wet green to dark and vanilla, always with resinous notes and a slight smoky factor. By morning, it’s just vanilla with a memory of iris. Although unisex, it projects a sweet, powdery aura that works wonders on women, yet isn’t too feminine on men. It feels rational, professional, serious, and adult. Buy at your own risk…
What a beauty. In the perfumer’s dictionary, it should be illustrated as ‘powdery’. That lipstick stick note is there from the start, much more elegant and sophisticated than Dior. Sincerely, I don’t smell anything green, which I appreciate, since it’s said to resemble Memo’s Irish Leather, which for me has a lot of green; I don’t find it here. It’s for lovers of powdery iris, dries slowly into soft vanilla tones, an elegant and seductive sweetness. Totally unisex, liked by both. Nothing sporty, I don’t see it with a hoodie or joggers. Nor is it exclusive to a shirt, but it’s not sporty either.
What a beauty. In perfumer’s terms, it should go right next to the definition of ‘powdery.’ That lipstick stick vibe is there from the start, but much more elegant and sophisticated than Dior. I don’t detect any green, which I appreciate since others like Memo’s Irish Leather have a strong green accord, and there’s nothing of the sort here. It’s for lovers of powdery iris; it dries slowly into soft vanilla tones, an elegant and seductive sweetness. Totally unisex; both genders love it. It’s nothing sporty; I don’t see it with a hoodie or joggers, nor is it strictly shirt-and-tie, but it’s not sport either.
What a gem. It opens with an iris unlike the usual stuff—spaced out and bright. I’m not sure if it’s salty, but the overall impression is totally different: it’s not heavy, soapy, or like a lipstick balm. It feels clean and pure. Then a not-too-sweet vanilla comes through, lowering that initial brightness to make it warmer. The leather gains strength over time; the development is quick, leaving a background iris less dominant, with that vanilla nuance and a very subdued, easy leather. I’m won over. I didn’t expect something like this; it dresses me up and makes me feel good. I don’t see it as feminine; it looks great on a man. For formal or semi-formal occasions, avoid the heat. Performance is very good, projects just enough, and lasts more than 7-8 hours. The price is right, under 200 euros, and it delivers on everything. Wonderful.
One of my favorites because it hits everything I’m looking for: a beautiful iris without that sad, wilted vibe, a soft leather, and a vanilla that warms it up without making it sweet or cloying. There’s a slight amber and balsamic green touch, but not green. I feel a strange familiarity; it’s creamy and cozy yet different from so many others. What more could you ask for?
I’m sticking with Italian Leather by Memo. The dry-down is very similar, but IL has that spectacular tomato note right out of the gate.
