  I’d been eyeing Rasasi’s Junoon line for a while, so I jumped in with this blind buy without knowing what to expect from that tomato leaf and iris root note. On paper, it smells dark, earthy, and wet, but with that iris root, soft leather, and herbal touches, plus a timid vanilla and rosehip in the background. On skin, it evolves into a vanilla-leather blend with spices; at first, it’s dark, woody, balsamic, slightly amber, and dusted by the mix of labdanum, iris root, benzoin, and tomato. The leather reappears softly at the base with the creaminess of sandalwood and a touch of myrrh. In short, it smells super natural, nothing synthetic, with great harmony between notes. It brings niche-level quality, though it might be tough for those not used to powerful leather scents.

  Excellent! I’m keeping this as the only Arab perfumes in my collection. Brutal quality for the price, on par with any niche brand or even better. It opens with a dark vanilla that isn’t overly sweet, just enough to make it pleasant. The leather is super elegant, making it ideal for special occasions in cold weather. Top-tier perfume, giving it a 10/10.
