I love it, it smells very much like Invictus. I also compared it to 212 VIP Black and they’re similar, but I discovered Maxime first. Its projection and longevity are decent.
They tried to copy Invictus, but the Intense version is on another level. While they’re about 80% similar, the Intense is a beast in terms of longevity and projection, whereas Maxime is less aggressive and more wearable.
It smells like Invictus. At first, I didn’t notice, but after a while, it’s very similar. One spray lasts a long time and you can even smell it on clothes even when they’re covered. I liked it. It was a blind buy, and I love that kind of surprise, like a roulette wheel, enjoying all the scents.
For its price, scent, and performance, it’s good. The opening is sweet and fruity with pineapple and mandarin, fresh and sweet. After 30 minutes, subtle notes of salt, wood, incense, and cinnamon emerge. Ideal for young people aged 18 to 25. If you like Sauvage, this is similar but sweeter. Longevity and trail are moderate, around 4-5 hours, and it projects about 1.5 meters.
I bought it and can’t find the mandarin leaf notes. I don’t detect the dark woody notes, and the incense is barely there. It’s pleasant, but too fruity and generic. The fruitiness can get cloying and even cause fatigue.
