I don’t find it similar to Invictus, it smells quite good. It’s ideal for both day and night. The price-quality ratio is interesting…
Sweet, clean, and the bottle is very nice. The regular and absolute are both very good for their price and quality, fragrances for daily use. In my opinion, this Absolute doesn’t resemble Invictus at all, not even a little, but I like both. I recommend them if you don’t want to spend too much; so you use these and save the fancy ones for specific occasions, I think they’re made for that 🤣
It has an Invictus vibe but has its own path. For me, it’s stunning! I hate the regular version with my whole being but I love the Absolute, and for the price, pffff, I’d apply it as many times as I want.
Just received it and yes, it has a very noticeable Invictus vibe. I expected something different, but smelling like Invictus isn’t bad, it doesn’t disappoint. It cost me very cheap, 200 ml in a nice bottle, and I plan to drench myself in ‘King of Invictus’ until it runs out without regrets. The guy who said it smells like cheap cologne, Invictus isn’t cheap or is Jeff Bezos’ son.
If Dylan Blue dried down mixed with Invictus fresh out of the bottle on a passionate night, this would be born. It’s linear with its own style, neither a clone of one nor the other. At the price I got it (10 dollars for 200 ml), it’s a must-buy for those battle moments. I don’t know its longevity or projection yet, but I’ll warn you that it causes olfactory fatigue very quickly; if you apply too much, suddenly you smell nothing. Have to be careful not to overdo it.
‘Safe bet’. At certain moments it reminds me of D&G Light Blue and Invictus, but it has its own imprint. Pros: made to please the majority at an acceptable price. Cons: it’s generic and doesn’t stand out. Scent 7, Price/Quality 7, Longevity 7, Projection 5, Versatility 8.
I tried it and it seemed ideal for a young, well-dressed office worker in hot weather. I liked it, although it seems generic, it has its charm. I’ll buy it when I can because of the price and the bottle, which is nice.
Very good fragrance, linear with no changes, super versatile. Works well in the office, evening, parties, winter, or summer. It’s a great entry-level perfume, although the longevity is short and projection is medium. Better than Blue Seduction.
It’s my favorite perfume in terms of scent, a citrus marine with sweet notes that make it very easy to wear and versatile for any occasion. I would have made it my signature scent if not for its extremely low longevity, only lasting 1-2 hours with about 8 sprays, and it’s not a perfume that leaves a great trail or projects much, only for the first 45 minutes or so.
The King of Seduction Absolute is a pure BBB, a perfect blue for everyday wear that doesn’t bother in any weather. I wear it to work and uni, and it performs luxuriously, though for night you need to apply more so it’s noticeable. On dates, it can feel weird because of that ‘ex’ vibe similar to Invictus, so be careful! It’s a bit generic but stands out for its cleanliness, marine notes with herbs, and a subtle sweetness. Got tons of compliments from girls. Smells 8/10, lasts 5 solid hours (the last hour and a half is skin scent, better on clothes). Versatility 9/10 and value 7/10. Highly recommended if you want something cheap for everything.
It’s a clean scent, a bit generic but nothing bad. On hot days it’s perfect, works for the office, university, or the beach. Very versatile and girls give it lots of compliments.
Wow, what a fragrance. It’s undoubtedly the best quality-to-price ratio I’ve had. I liked it from the first moment; what stands out is its masculine, marine, and fruity aroma. I don’t think there’s anything better for $20. You could say it’s like taking vanilla out of Versace Blue Jeans and boosting the marine notes. It’s an all-rounder that serves any occasion, behaves well around 20 degrees, but when it goes above 25 it turns into a bomb (at least on my skin). It lasts about 8 hours, highly recommended.
They recommended it and the first time it disappointed me, but over time I started to like it. It’s not a scent that turns heads, it’s pleasant, clean, soapy, with standout lavender and marine notes. It’s quite linear but very versatile, not invasive, and the price is very economical, a cheap alternative to Invictus.
Honestly, reading reviews that put this fragrance through the roof, you wonder what kind of skin we humans have. On my skin it performs very poorly, so much so that at first I only used it on clothes. Now I wonder what detergents we use because even on clothes it diluted in hours, like it mixed with water and lost all its essence. Just kidding, it’s a decent fragrance, citrus and marine, nothing mysterious, the kind you use after a shower before bed.
It’s a good perfume and available at an excellent price. I wouldn’t place it at the level of others that cost four or five times more, but this and the Zara one are the ones I’ve received the most compliments on, even though I own more expensive designer brands. It’s fresh, clean, and perfect for everyday use, even on spring or summer nights. The longevity and projection have left me satisfied with what I paid. It’s one of those perfumes everyone likes, though probably won’t make you stand out.
I’ve had it for a month and honestly, it doesn’t last at all, barely one or two hours, not even on clothes.
I love the scent, it’s delicious, but it’s a shame it lasts so short. After two hours, it’s gone. It’s an exquisite aroma that fades very quickly.
I’ve been wearing it for a while and decided to write. On my skin it lasts about 6 hours with a trail from one arm and a one-hour sillage. Very pleasant for summer and indoor places. Smells pretty much like the original Invictus.
Bought in 2023 for about $24 in Costa Rica. Worth it for the price since it’s an Invictus dupe, so don’t expect magic. Smells great at first with that spicy sweet touch, but after two hours it leaves that rich green mossy scent, though very skin-close. Ideal for spring, fall, or rainy days in the tropics. In summer, the opening is strong and can be dizzying; it’s not as fresh as Versace or Nautica. Totally for daytime, not for night due to the sweetness. Safe buy if you’re looking for something cheap and daily. If you want something for night, go with Icon EDP.
It’s my favorite fragrance: citrus and marine with a sweet touch that makes it super versatile for any day. The only downside is it lasts incredibly short, barely 1-2 hours even with 8 sprays, and it doesn’t project much, only noticeable for a while at the start.
Pretty good value for money. The scent reminds me quite a bit of Paco Rabanne’s Invictus. I’ve had it for years as a Christmas gift, and honestly, it’s a good perfume for daily use in spring and summer. Good sillage but poor longevity; it doesn’t exceed 2 hours on my skin, requiring constant and generous reapplication since it doesn’t project much, but there’s not much to complain about given its cheap price. Still, I’ve received compliments because it smells like cheap, clean, marine, and fresh Invictus. Ideal for a young user wanting a daily perfume, for studying or a summer outing. You can feel the citrus top notes and the marine base. Summary: Accessible spring/summer fragrance, very similar to Invictus, good sillage but poor projection and longevity, easy to like and you’ll get compliments. Scent: 7/10, easy to like. Longevity: 4/10, not very lasting. Versatility: 9/10, very versatile for daily life. Sillage: 5/10, a bit weak, but don’t overapply. Value: 8/10, good and cheap. Compliments: 8/10, easy to get them. Total: 7/10.
For the price, it’s an excellent perfume for daily use. Using up to 7 sprays, it lasts little, max about 2 hours. The scent reminds me too much of Stronger With You Intensely, but without the vanilla and cinnamon notes. I see it for use in the classroom and at work, but I feel it’s a bit too formal for the gym.
Citrusy, herbal, with a masculine base, which is the best part for me. I don’t know its similar or inspiration. The scent is nothing new in the perfume world, something created just to smell good, without artistic pretensions. What I highlight is its masculine vibe, beyond the sweet stuff, making it sober, elegant, and informal, suitable for everything except cold or nighttime. In the dry-down, three notes are totally my style: vetiver, leather, and moss. It has normal opening potency and evolves better, though without asking more for its price, longevity is average for an EDT and requires frequent reapplication. Of the Banderas I’ve tried, it’s one worth it; for the price, it’s a gift.
A rich fragrance, pleasant to others, with a super masculine DNA, but it’s good. Lasts about 5 hours, with the last 2 hours close to the skin and a soft sillage. Having the Invictus DNA makes it remind me of Natura’s Urbano Nox or Kromo Black, among other dupes. It’s not as cheap in Colombia as elsewhere, but it holds up for daily use without expecting much. It delivers.
Nice fragrance, quite citrusy at first, but compared to King of Seduction, the marine notes stand out more here. Performance is better too; it lasts 2 to 3 hours on my skin, probably longer on clothes. The accessible price allows you to reapply without issues. Fragrance: 8/10, Longevity: 6/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value: 9/10.
Hi, how are you? It reminds me a lot of Acqua Di Gio Absolut. It’s very rich and truly enjoyable.
A delicious fragrance. Very, very masculine. Even though it comes from the Invictus family, it smells very different. Excellent purchase, great quality for the price.
Good value for money. Obviously, I need to reapply after 5 hours to last until evening. The scent is quite fresh and a hit, perfect for hot weather. I detected notes of Aqua Di Gio Profondo.
The most masculine Antonio Banderas fragrance and my favorite from his line. Starts sweet and addictive, then dries down to a sensual leather that makes it very masculine. Performance is poor, but the quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable; Antonio’s fragrances are among the best you can find on the market. Along with Icon and King of Seduction, it ranks in the top 3 of his best creations.
Bought it blind and it’s not a disaster, but not a masterpiece either. The citrus opening is brutal, fades from the skin in a jiffy, but lingers slightly on clothes. For under €20 on sale, reapplying doesn’t hurt, but it’s mandatory since it stops smelling after an hour. Summary: Sillage 9/10, Projection 4/10, Longevity 4/10, Value 7.5/10. If you like citrus, you’ll love it; if not, it’ll overwhelm you.
Its citrus, marine scent and that slightly metallic touch in the opening are enchanting. On a date, it can get you several compliments, and I’m saying this from experience, even though it doesn’t have standout longevity.
I asked a perfumer friend for a gym perfume; he recommended Nautica Voyage, but this guy told me that for his taste, King of Seduction was better for the occasion. I never tried Nautica Voyage since I’m recently getting into the world of perfumes, but I’m quite satisfied with following his recommendation. The perfume adapts well to the gym; body heat highlights its notes a bit, offering stable longevity overall; however, it remains an Eau de Toilette with short longevity that doesn’t exceed 3 hours. It has very fresh and pleasant notes both in the opening and during the dry down.
200 ml for 25 dollars… it doesn’t last long, but it’s a very good scent. It reminds me a bit of Dylan Blue, slightly lighter. It smells like synthetic watermelon to me, but this and the Blue version I think are the best. 9 out of 10 and 10 out of 10 for the Blue in terms of price and milliliters. A huge success, you have to wear a lot of it.
One of the best from Antonio Banderas, it has a minty touch that makes it very rich, lasts about 6 hours, and 7 sprays should be enough for the day; people will surely ask what you’re wearing. That said, it’s not for hot days, but rather the opposite; great price.
I was gifted this fragrance and over time I’ve come to appreciate it. Although people have talked a lot about it, I agree it’s a pretty affordable product that offers adequate performance for its price (in Chile, 100 ml costs about 20 dollars). As for the scent, I consider it a middle ground between Invictus Aqua and Montblanc Legend Spirit. The aquatic notes with grapefruit give it a fresh, youthful opening similar to Invictus, but its development evolves into a slightly more mature profile like Legend, where cardamom and oak moss stand out. The scent is well-known and doesn’t aim to stand out, plus its longevity is about 3 hours; because of this, it’s not ideal for the office since you’d need to reapply by midday. I wouldn’t recommend it for the gym either, as its quick development can highlight vetiver and leather in an unwanted way. Finally, I consider this fragrance fresh and informal, making it a good option for weekend morning outings in warm weather, grocery shopping, outdoor fairs, quiet bike rides, and any situation where you’re wearing comfortable, relaxed clothes. You’ll smell good, and the fragrance will last perfectly until lunch.
Banderas was my first fragrance, which I swapped out due to its disastrous performance. A few months later, my mom bought a blood pressure monitor and came with a tester of this same fragrance as a gift, so it ended up back in my hands by accident. Every time I spray it, it puts me in a good mood; it’s like the mature dad version of Invictus, same path but with more punch. If it lasted 8 hours, it would be a titan in the low-cost category. Fragrances are meant to be enjoyed, and I choose it for after a shower or before bed, but you won’t impress anyone with it due to the low performance and its very copied scent profile. It’s rich and delivers straight up.
Personally, it’s my favorite AB. It projects well, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last long. The scent is incredibly rich: sweet grapefruit, leather, and a metallic touch, with aquatic and lavender notes that make it very clean. It delivers 100%.
50 ml for 5 dollars… I don’t know if I’m asking for too much. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t blow me away; I feel like it fits any situation without failing.
It’s a perfume for everything: night, day, and daily wear. I really love this Antonio Banderas.
It was my first AB and on my skin it’s super fresh and citrusy, with that masculine touch I love. It’s super versatile for any time of day. The longevity and sillage are low, but it’s worth every penny. Ideal for the gym or after a shower: clean, refreshing, and not overpowering. Works all year round.
