Sparkling sweet-citrus floral opening that’s fleeting, then evolves into something plasticky. Someone mentioned ‘burnt rubber’… yeah, it could be. A sweet, strange burnt rubber. At one point I even detect something resembling bitter almond (even though it’s not listed). The neroli plays a prominent role, but wrapped around saffron. It’s true that a very subtle hint of beer’s bitterness appears, but if it weren’t a declared note, I wouldn’t have caught it on my own. The metallic aspect underpins everything, there like a tray holding the rest of the products, providing depth without shining. It’s truly a strange and hard-to-describe fragrance. It could be the scent floating in a factory environment due to some production process, or the smell emanating from vinyl manufacturing, that mix of plastic, solvents, and adhesives. The trail reaching me from my wrist is basically that: sweet burnt rubber but not unpleasant. Honestly, I’m not sure if I like it or not, but I don’t think I’d wear it. I guess it could be worn year-round except summer, since I suspect with heat the neroli note could become excessive. I also can’t say if it’s male, female, or unisex (to me, it leans feminine). What I do know for sure is that you need the right personality to wear it. Definitely do not buy it blind.
