Rivalite Imperiale is undoubtedly one of the best gourmands I’ve ever tried. It’s a tobacco, cinnamon, and vanilla blend with a nutty ‘cacao’ note, all sitting on a very creamy base—like condensed milk that’s neither too sweet nor too milky. It creates a deliciously rich scent that makes your mouth water. It doesn’t evolve much, but I don’t think it needs to. It reminds me of Ambre Tabac or Oajan, though I’d say this is more gourmand than both. I absolutely love it; I see it as unisex, perfect for cold weather with great performance, suitable for everything from semi-formal to formal occasions, special events, and dates. A true delight. Rating: 9.5/10
