A biscuit note, haha.
I love it, excellent longevity. It doesn’t remind me of the Paris Corner version, which I didn’t like. Great blind buy.
At first, it’s banana gummies, then it settles into a creamy smoothie. I loved it, lasted over 6 hours, and I could smell it all day. If you like banana, I recommend it; it smells different from anything I’ve tried before.
I tested it in-store, not on my skin. I was surprised—it’s literally a banana split but very soft. Even though I’m not a huge fan of this type of fragrance, I liked it much more than the original Eclaire. I’d give it a try.
New flanker of Eclaire and here the banana shines incredibly bright—creamy, natural, wrapped in vanilla, praline, and milky notes. It’s an exquisite, well-constructed gourmand. Between the two new ones, I prefer Banoffi: it has more personality, feels cheerful and comforting without losing elegance. It’s sweet, but with an almost edible texture, perfect for the gourmand side of perfumery. Highly recommend it, though I’d try it first before buying because it might be that scent you love but can’t bring yourself to wear.
I received this as a decant gift and really liked it, especially the dry-down. At first, it smells very much like a banana candy and isn’t really my style for skin wear, but as it dries down it evolves into a super creamy banana cake that turns out gorgeous. I’d recommend it if you like sweet perfumes.
The opening didn’t fully convince me. Later, I picked up the banana, but on my skin, caramel dominates, warm like the original Whetter’s. The banana was barely noticeable for just 3 seconds. Edited: now I’m smelling sweet, creamy vanilla, just on my wrist.
I absolutely love it on my skin. It lasts 9 hours with strong projection for the first 3 hours. The banana, dulce de leche, and whipped cream notes last the entire time.
I approached it because I like banana, but while it’s not bad, it’s not what I expected. The opening is an insanely rich little banana, but it lasts only about 3 minutes; from the start it sits right on the skin. Yes, it lasted 6 hours total, but always right on the skin. The dry-down is a gourmand that smells like milk cookies. Not bad, but nothing new in the gourmand world. Honestly, so far I haven’t found a better banana scent than Oribe’s. P.S.: Recommend trying before investing.
At first, it smells like strong banana, then it mellows and you get dulce de leche and cake notes. It’s super delicious, though it doesn’t last as long as Eclaire—it stays close to the skin. But yes, very tasty.
I tried the pistachio version, but this is the only one that still smelled on me until tomorrow. It smells like milk and banana. If you apply too much, it can be overwhelming, but it’s really delicious.
I was looking for a banana note, and while it’s not bad, it’s not what I expected. The sweet opening lasts only 3 minutes before it becomes skin scent. Once dry, it smells like milk cookies. Nothing new, but it’s fine. So far, nothing beats the Ori Russo Banana Splits. Try it before spending money.
I gifted this to my girlfriend because it’s exquisite. It smells like banana cake with a hint of chocolate, perfect for cold weather; in the heat, it can be cloying. Lasts about 7 hours, though it’s very linear from start to finish. An 8.5, totally worth it.
I gifted this to my girlfriend because I found it exquisite. Given its extremely sweet aroma, it’s clearly an autumn/winter scent, best in cold climates; it can be unpleasant in the heat. The scent makes you imagine a banana cake, and you can definitely smell the chocolate, though not too intense. Longevity is brutal, about 7 hours. Be careful with the sprays because it can get cloying. I’m not giving it a 10 because I feel it’s very linear, smelling the same from start to finish, but it’s a solid 8.5. Worth having in your collection.
So delicious! At first, it’s tart banana, then it blends with vanilla, and as it dries down, it smells like musk and cookies.
At first, it smells like roasted peanuts, then oatmeal with milk and warm mashed banana, just like the breakfast I used to get as a kid.
For the first few minutes it smells like potent banana, then it fades and the dulce de leche and cake notes come through. It’s muuuy delicious, though it doesn’t last as long as its sibling Eclaire; it sits right on the skin within minutes. But if it’s super, super delicious.
I love the other Eclairs, but this Banoffi doesn’t work for me; it made me feel a bit dizzy. It smells like banana candy. Too bad, since so many people enjoy it.
It has so many notes I love, but honestly, to me, it just smells like banana and sugar. All the eclairs smell super similar but with a distinct touch. It lasts very little.
Smells very good; at first, it smells like banana candies, but here’s the problem: after a few minutes, I get a slight vomit smell. I don’t know if I’m the only one. Otherwise, it’s good, lasting about 3-4 hours.
Smells like Legendario rum. It’s fun, but it’s not really something that represents me.
I don’t know why no one has mentioned it, but this perfume smells exactly like the Garnier banana hair mask. That said, it lasts forever.
What a letdown: the banana scent was only noticeable for a few seconds alongside an alcoholic vanilla, right upon spraying. It projects well and lasts about 8 hours on skin; we tested it on three people and got the same result. If you’re looking for a banana aroma, you’ll be greatly disappointed, because the vanilla and the rest of the ingredients (except the banana) are the real stars.
What a disappointment. It smells like banana for just a few seconds, followed by an alcoholic vanilla note right after spraying. The projection is huge and it lasts about 8 hours on skin—we tested it with three people and they all got the same result. If you’re looking for a true banana scent in this perfume, you’ll be greatly disappointed, because the vanilla and the other ingredients (except the banana) are the real stars.
Mmm, a sigh of banana, then it turns into popcorn with caramel, very Banana Bliss… try it before you buy!
Tested it in-store today: at first, it’s like a banana gummy and very artificial, but as it dries down, I loved it. Vanilla appears, like flambéed bananas. It lasted 7 hours on my skin, and even after 10 hours, you can still faintly detect the vanilla.
I agree it smells exactly like the Garnier banana hair mask, and I’m not bothered by that at all. It smells great; it’s one of the few perfumes that have gotten me the most compliments.
What a delicious perfume! At first, you literally get the banana with dulce de leche, then it turns into a sweet banana and vanilla dessert. On my skin, I get a slightly woody touch. It felt amazing and so original; I don’t know any other scent where the banana note feels this way.
What a delicious perfume!! At first, you literally feel the banana with dulce de leche, then it transitions into a banana and vanilla dessert, though on my skin I sense a bit more woodiness. It seemed delicious and very original; I don’t know another where the banana feels like this.
Bought it blindly because everyone said it smells like my favorite Garnier banana hair mask. What a letdown—it has zero resemblance to it for me. Plus, it reminds me of cheap, nasty perfumes. It does smell like banana, but a cheap, synthetic one, like a terrible mix of sweet Arab fragrances. Such a pity.
