Soft and beautiful. The opening is quite unique; I’m not fully sold on it yet—it reminds me of baby powder with citrus notes and a bitter undertone from the carrot seed. But the magic happens as it dries down: a soft, talc-like scent where violets and iris really shine. With body heat, waves of ylang-ylang and a very subtle jasmine emerge; the rose here just balances and highlights the other florals. All of this sits on a base of soft cedar, benzoin, and dry vetiver, with occasional hints of high-quality incense stick that never gets smoky. It seems simple but is actually a complex fragrance that keeps surprising me. In its final phase, you can detect the musk and incense, now as a gentle smoke, while the cedar lingers very faintly. Projection depends on how many sprays you use: with just two or three, it’s not intrusive, noticeable at 30-40 cm, and stays close to the skin after three hours. I’m not sure how it performs with more because I only have a 2 ml sample and don’t want to waste it, haha. It lasts incredibly well; it’s been eight hours and it’s still very present.

A true masterpiece. On my skin, just a few minutes after applying it, it smells identical to Prada’s Infusion d’Iris Cedre.
