Pure juniper essence, green and soapy, like that herbal bar soap that leaves you smelling of the woods for a while; it projects and lasts a long time. The opening is top-notch but deceptive: on skin, only that green aromatic vibe remains.
KAFF by Tiziana Terenzi is an elixir in the air, a gin-tonic with spices. Virginia juniper, fresh and vibrant, blends with a soft, elegant iris, accompanied by the perfect citrus touch that complements a white leather that wraps up and closes a olfactory dance and a subtle journey. Moderate-to-low projection but with high quality and elegance. Lasts about 5 hours on skin. I inevitably associate it with Fauno by Agatho, one of my favorites; I see it as his cousin, sharing a very polished cedar note in the base, though KAFF is a bit more versatile and fresh.
What a gem! The blend of citrus and ginger with powdery iris and ambergris is a winning combination for the shoulder seasons. If you like the ambergris note in Layucawam Ambergris Showers or Irish Leather, this has a similar effect but feels more polished and fresh thanks to the ginger. Lasts over 12 hours without being tracked down like a hound, with a noticeable trail for the first 4 hours, then fading to soft bursts. Tested in spring at 23°C in a work environment. 8 sprays. 100% unisex. Suitable from semi-formal to formal settings. Preferably daytime, though it doesn’t clash at night. Ideal for autumn and spring. Best for ages 30+. Longevity: +12h. Projection: Moderate, 4h. Sillage: Very present. Scent: 4 stars. Versatility: 4 stars. Uniqueness: 3 stars. Rating: 8/10.
