What a gorgeous scent! Tobacco, honey, and tonka bean dance a beautiful choreography here. So refined; I’ve never tried anything like it. 10/10. What luck to have snagged it before they discontinued it—I’ve got a backup ready. By far, it’s one of my favorites 🥰

I was looking for something with tobacco and fell in love seeing the notes. I recommend it 100%; it’s a very sweet tobacco, similar to Mancera’s Tobacco Vanille but I like Velvet Teddy much more. What impacted me most was matching it with many in my collection: what a surprise! It paired excellently with several I didn’t use often because they were too strong or lacked a ‘punch’ from certain notes. Wow, I was fascinated by how it leveled the potency for some and added notes to others. Incredible perfume and a blind buy that left me speechless. If you like honeyed or tobacco perfumes, you’re in the right place. And as I said, it’s perfect for mixing with other perfumes, as long as they are strong and have similar notes, but it levels everything to perfection.

I was impressed by the longevity and quality. It’s a dupe of Red Tobacco but much sweeter. The honey and tobacco notes are the most prominent. I like to wear it in winter climates because in the heat, the tobacco gives me headaches. I don’t recommend buying it blind because it’s a particular scent that doesn’t reach everyone, but if you like sweet tobacco, go for it without hesitation. A unisex scent with long-lasting power at a very convenient price.

Totally free surprise!… when people talk about LONGEVITY in any review, it should be mandatory to reference these fragrances: +20 hours on skin, simply that’s how a perfume should last. The great advantage is that it smells great without entering absurd discussions about whether it’s natural or synthetic, YOU SMELL GREAT and that’s what matters, at a fairly reasonable price. If it’s true that it resembles TF Tobacco Vanille, MAC Velvet Teddy takes a different path accompanied by a quite loaded honey accord with spices that you can feel all the time. Honestly, for the price, it asks for nothing from TF… I’m sure you’ll understand when you smile at having made a good purchase.

The quality is extraordinary, the price is excellent, it definitely reminds me of my beloved Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille but with more force in the notes. On my skin, the unisex honey note stands out, sweet but balanced by the tobacco flower, Egyptian papyrus, the spark of ginger, on a slightly animalic musk base combined with orchid and mimosa. I perceive it as unisex, with a heavy sillage and enormous longevity (over 10 hours), I’m delighted with its development. I don’t recommend buying it blind because it’s potent and long-lasting. A total hit for lovers of tobacco and spiced honey.

Not for everyone’s taste. Even for me, who adores fragrances that smell for miles and last a lifetime, it’s overwhelming sometimes. It smells good. Different; the initial tobacco smell seems masculine to me, it always makes me imagine 30s gangsters, in striped suits, vests, hats, playing cards while smoking fine tobacco with a crooked smile. Once it dries down, it becomes somewhat unisex-feminine, with that sweet vanilla and honey touch. Indeed, it also reaches a cinnamon scent. It’s a different, elegant scent that lasts and projects a lot for the price. The truth is, I’ve never used it to go out, I don’t know why I don’t dare. I’ve used it at home (I wear anything, even in pajamas and slippers) and sometimes it gets tiring. Two days ago, at night, I sprayed it on my husband’s arm and we went to sleep; it was a hot night and in my dreams I felt a bit nauseous. I would recommend using it in cold climates.

An absolute masterpiece and a great discovery. Smells like honey, vanilla, and high-quality pipe tobacco. My wife fell in love and keeps stealing it, so I stocked up before it gets discontinued. Totally unisex, nothing to envy from niches and clearly superior to common designers. Great longevity and good sillage.

Spectacular. Although it says it’s for women, I consider it unisex; it’s similar to the ZARA tobacco collection but without that rum smell. I’ve been wearing it for weeks and I love the mix of honey, tobacco, and a spicy ginger touch. The scent is linear but high quality, lasting 12 hours with 4 sprays. Strong projection for 2-3 hours, not cloying or invasive. Highly recommended.

Exquisite fragrance. The honey and tobacco flower are felt exquisitely from the very first moment. It’s quite linear, a delight from start to finish. I’m wearing it right now and the honey feels exquisite, sweet but not cloying. The tobacco doesn’t take a back seat; in my opinion, it feels right up there with the honey, reminding me of high-quality pipe tobacco pouches. The sillage is moderate and longevity is about 12 to 20 hours! In my opinion, better than Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla!

Tried the MAC fragrances again, and while others smelled like strange things, this scent surprised me. It’s sweet, vanilla, and features high-quality pipe tobacco. My wife fell in love so much she keeps stealing it, so I stocked up before they ran out. It’s unisex, rivals niche perfumes, and clearly beats common designers. Great longevity and good sillage.
