I don’t detect any trace of ADG; to me, it smells more like Mirto Di Panare from ADP. It’s fresh, though not suitable for extreme heat. It has a super clean, soapy touch—I love it!

I had high expectations, but unfortunately, it’s not what I was looking for. Although it’s aquatic, the opening is very bitter with grapefruit, nothing like a fresh citrus cologne. Upon spraying, it gives off an insecticide aerosol vibe—at least in Mexico, that scent is associated with bug spray—lasting about the first 40 minutes. Then it softens; what I like most is the dry-down, which reminds me of Hugo Element by Hugo Boss. Overall, it’s wearable, non-invasive, and unique, but it’s not for me.

Osaïto is one of my favorite scents from the brand and one of the best in its category. Marine, mineral, and very clean, where the myrtle really shines. I agree with those comparing it to Ege and especially Mirto di Panarea, but this one is more mineral and intense; sometimes it gives off a camphor or mentholated sensation. It feels natural and high-quality, like everything from Micallef. On my skin, it’s linear but has brutal longevity. It smells more masculine, works for everything, and is brilliant in the heat. Highly recommended to try. If you own the references, compare them to see if they’re redundant. Note: 9/10. Tested with a sample from Mon Parfum, Chile.

Osaito is one of my favorites from the brand and the genre. Marine, mineral, and super clean, with myrtle taking the lead. I agree with those who say it’s similar to Ege and Mirto di Panarea, but this one is more mineral and intense, sometimes smelling like camphor or mint. It gives a sense of naturalness and quality typical of Micaleff. On me, it’s linear, but the longevity is brutal. It feels more masculine, ideal for everything, and shines in the heat. Give it a try. I understand those who praise it, but I’m lucky enough to own Ege by Nishane, and the comparison was obvious. They share the same herbal and aquatic DNA, but Ege leans creamy and woody in the dry-down, while Osaïto stays marine. They’re different, as they say at home, ‘leaning lazily to the left.’ What they absolutely lack is projection and longevity, areas where Nishane is unmatched. Osaïto is a good clean, soapy, herbal, and marine scent—a rare DNA that projects hygiene and relaxation, perfect for an informal afternoon. On the flip side, it has a high price for the performance and isn’t innovative, which is why I’m not giving it a high score.

Nice scent from Micaleff. Some noses might find it chemical, but it doesn’t bother me. It opens very citrusy with that myrtle soapy touch that’s noticeable. Then it settles into an aromatic, salty, clean vibe. It doesn’t change much; it’s simple and competitive for the price, though I wouldn’t pay for this profile. Citrus, salt, musk, and myrtle are its thing. In the end, you notice the wood and spice without losing freshness. Works great in Valencia from June to September. Good longevity without being overwhelming.

It doesn’t seem that similar to ADG to me; I detect it as sweeter and more floral. The problem is that in its initial phases, until it dries down properly, it smells like ammonia, like when you sweat a lot; it could be a reaction with my skin, although it never happened to me before. In the dry-down, I notice it’s more feminine than masculine, barely unisex, although the scent is rich. It doesn’t project much and stays close to the skin, so it’s recommended to try it, even though it’s not for me.

To my amateur nose, it’s enchanting, projects well, and lasts all day on skin and clothes… forever. I hesitated to buy it because of the price, but the second time I used the sample, I was convinced. Now it’s one of my favorites. It has a ‘sparkling’ opening that brings freshness and tranquility with a just-right sweetness, the kind that brings happiness when you smell it. The dry-down is excellent, and I can still smell it several hours later. A complete product and a hit from Micallef.

A Micaleff gem that blends femininity with a masculine heart. Smells elegant, perfect for signing off or any event. Incredible longevity: over 12 hours on the skin and the trail lasts for hours. Great work from the house.

A delight and a hit from Micallef… It has a feminine touch but doesn’t lose its masculine character thanks to its heart notes. Great longevity (+12h), a trail of 2 meters that lasts more than 3 hours (I don’t know how it will be in winter, right now it’s summer)… It’s elegant, ideal for signing off and all kinds of occasions. Great work from Micallef.

It smells like Aqua di Gio but more aquatic and of higher quality. For 99% of people, they won’t be able to tell this perfume apart from the typical Aqua di Gio or Zara’s Lisboa.
