Luxury bourbon vanilla: smells like marshmallow, not cheap sugar. Thanks to the bourbon, it’s real vanilla, nothing cloying. Perfect for autumn/winter, lasts hours with just two sprays, and worth every euro. 10/10

It’s a single-note fragrance: delicious vanilla (I’ve tried several with vanilla as the star). Maybe it’s not the best, but it’s sweet and delicate without being synthetic. Its value for money is high because it has good projection and longevity at an affordable price. If you like sweet vanilla gourmand fragrances, this could be your option.

It smells like delicious vanilla, nothing cloying. I use it combined with the body wash that has the same scent.

My faithful perfume for years. I’m addicted to vanilla and this is pure pastry. I wear it on cold, rainy days to relax, sometimes even in bed. So warm and comforting that I won’t change it.

Vanille Bourbon 2016 is tender, docile, and natural. Smells like soft pastry, without that synthetic hit at first. Its subtle creaminess delights us. Wearable year-round, just use moderation in the heat. Paired with Fleur Oranger or Mandarine, it’s gorgeous. Lasts longer than the Vanille Noire from the same brand. At 8 euros for 100ml, the blends are gorgeous and long-lasting. EDIT: Sillage and longevity at this price are unbeatable.

It’s not vanilla à la Mercadona. It has something else mixed in that makes it softer, more pleasant, and much lighter.

I’d been wanting to try it for ages but didn’t dare without testing it first; I’m scared of buying blindly. When I finally bought it, my hands were shaking. I had the last spray of Vera Wang’s Princess on, which I’d worn for 12 hours. I read that Vanille Bourbon is very subtle and that Princess has vanilla notes, so I assumed they’d go well. Still, I was terrified to apply it. WOW. I’d been searching for years for a sweet vanilla scent that wasn’t synthetic, pure, and not overshadowed by other ingredients. I was looking for that appetizing vanilla that inspires love and immense sweetness. Vanille Bourbon delivered and exceeded my expectations. I put a little on my wrist to reference it: it smells like cookies, bakery vanilla, ice cream, glaze, cake, malted milk, custard… so soft, delicate, innocent, sweet, and adorable. It’s like a perfectly balanced cloud of vanilla. Its sillage is medium but executed very well. I like perfumes I can smell all day (sometimes I can’t with others, but people can), and Vanille Bourbon doesn’t make me feel exposed. I smell it, and others do, without feeling overwhelmed. On my skin, the longevity has been excellent, same intensity in the last hours. I think it adapted very well to my pH. It’s affordable ($279 pesos), the bottle is simple but pretty, well-made, and I’d wear it only in cold weather; in heat, it might be overpowering. I already want to try the Christmas edition. I think it’s the best vanilla gourmand I’ve ever smelled; I’m completely in love. It’s gotten me endless compliments. I spent my whole life searching for a perfume that smelled exactly like the Strawberry Shortcake Angel Cake doll and never succeeded… until now. When worn close to the skin, it smells exactly like that doll. I can finally rest in peace. Scent: 11/10, Sillage: 10/10, Longevity: 10/10.

Sometimes I just crave smelling like a delicious vanilla cookie… if you’re like me and looking for something innocent and unpretentious, here’s an affordable option to satisfy your whim of becoming a walking dessert. The scent is subtle, with caramel notes, enveloping, warm, and lasts quite a while… great for ‘sweet-toothed’ spirits, medium sillage. Recommended.
