Another masterpiece from Nishane. From the start, a fantastic sweetness led by vanilla and peach over a woody backdrop where sandalwood reigns. Then, incredibly rich white flowers start to emerge as it dries. The whole thing is like a gummy candy. Since it’s an extrait, the longevity, density, and intensity are outstanding. The projection isn’t huge, but it’s noticeable. It’s unisex, though because it’s a floral-vanilla scent, some men might feel uncomfortable, so test it before buying. The vanilla isn’t heavy, ideal for day and night, though in summer it might be better for evening. Scent: 10, Longevity: 10, Projection: 7, Value: 6, Originality: 7, Versatility: 9, Overall: 9.5.
They say it’s unisex, but watch out: I don’t see myself wearing it as a man. I use it as a base for layering and it works like luxury. But if a woman wears it… wow, it hits hard. HUNDRED SILENT WAYS is sexy, intimate, charming, and addictive. That blend of fruits and vanilla over a milky sandalwood base is exquisite. It hooks you from the very first second, like you’re being dragged into that subtle feminine charm and can’t resist. As a man, you’d always appreciate if your girl wore it. If you don’t know HSW and a woman wears it, you’ll stop her to ask what perfume it is. In a word: fascinating.
Inspired by a Rumi poem: ‘I whispered an offer softly in the ear of your playful heart…’, so the notes develop on me like this: first vanilla, gardenia, neroli, and jasmine whisper to the olfactory senses, then it releases a potent, feminine, intoxicating, and addictive aroma. Massive sillage, over 12 hours on skin. Ideal for cold weather and passionate nights, though I’d use it all year round. I don’t recommend buying blindly because it’s very potent, unless you’re a fan of white flowers and vanilla, which guarantees a safe purchase.
A perfume inspired by a Rumi poem: ‘I whispered an offer to the ear of your playful heart… in a hundred silences.’ The notes unfold like this: first vanilla, gardenia, neroli, and jasmine whispering to your olfactory senses, before releasing an incredibly potent, feminine, intoxicating, and addictive aroma. Massive sillage, lasting over 12 hours on skin. I see it as ideal for cold weather and passionate nights, though I’d wear it year-round. Vanilla and white flowers… although the notes say citrus, they get lost in the sweet sensation. Unisex-feminine, good longevity but on my skin it barely projected after an hour. When my girlfriend smelled it, she didn’t like it and said it smelled like the Winnie the Pooh chapter: ‘The Paradise of Milk and Honey’. She sent me to the shower because it made me dizzy (I sprayed it 4 times). In my opinion, it’s a delight for women who use it sparingly, and for men in cold nights, also with moderation. 8.5/10.
It opens with a citrus accord, a subtle composition. White flowers (probably neroli) at the start, then after 15 minutes it becomes more powdery and soft, followed by an absolute vanilla note that makes it feminine and sweet. It’s unisex but revolves around the feminine side. Quality, as you know, this is Nishane. Perfect for temperate and fresh environments. I give it 9/10.
I agree it’s sexy, intimate, charming, and addictive, but the quality-to-price ratio doesn’t quite work for me. I got lucky with a discovery set, and on my skin, none last more than 4 hours, with medium-to-low trails using only 7 sprays. HSW is delicious and quite feminine; what stands out most is the caramel, flowers, and vanilla, but it’s discreet and elegant, fantastic for a date. Due to its poor performance and high price, I doubt I’ll buy it.
Hundred Silent Ways is a powdery white floral, a beautiful and creamy vanilla scent. When I wear it, I feel sensual, beautiful, mysterious, feminine, and charming. I don’t see it on a man despite being unisex. Lasts over 12 hours on skin, projects without being suffocating, yet you don’t go unnoticed. Very versatile for any occasion and climate. If I had to choose one signature from my collection, it would be this one.
Hundred Silent Ways is the best of the white floral vanilla perfumes (neroli and jasmine dominate). At first, it’s potent with a fruity touch of peach that gradually fades, leaving a slightly woody and creamy base. Honestly, on a woman, it smells narcotic, addictive, and very sensual. High-quality ingredients, subtle evolution, and powerful performance. I see it as more feminine, but it’s becoming increasingly common for men. Better suited for cold weather, and its high price is justified by its virtues. Worth trying. Note: 8/10.
I think Hundred Silent Ways is the best of all vanilla perfumes with white florals (neroli and jasmine dominating). From the beginning, it manifests as potent alongside a fruity part of nectarine that fades progressively, and a slightly woody/creamy base. Honestly, on a woman, the scent will feel narcotic, addictive, and very sensual. It has high-quality ingredients, a subtle evolution, and powerful performance. I see it as more feminine, but it’s becoming more common to see this type of perfume on the unisex side. Finally, I think it’s much better for cold weather, and its high price is justified by the virtues I’ve mentioned, so it’s a scent worth trying. Rating: 8/10.
Personal opinion on my skin: it’s one of my favorites, lasting 24 hours or more with a trail of 2 meters that invades spaces. On clothes, it smells subtle even after washing. It’s very feminine, perhaps due to the mandarin and floral notes. A sensual, elegant, and sophisticated aroma; although they don’t mention musk, it’s there. The fruity and floral notes pass quickly, leaving a dry-down that is intense and long-lasting, featuring sweet vanilla and a fruity, creamy, musky sandalwood.
Although I still consider Mon Guerlain my signature, I like to keep looking for other options in the same olfactive family, and this one from Nishane is ES-PEC-TA-CU-LAR. From the very first moment, it envelops you in femininity and sweetness; it’s very elegant and warm without being overwhelming or excessively gourmand. I adore it, even though on my skin it fades quickly. My husband says it’s still noticeable for quite a while, albeit at a short distance, but I can’t smell it after a couple of hours (or less)… what a pity. Edit (October 2022): With autumn and temperatures below 20 degrees, I tried it again and not only does it have a greater trail, but the longevity multiplied; now it exceeds 6 hours on my skin. A marvel.
Although Mon Guerlain remains my signature, I’m looking for other options in this family, and this one from Nishane is ES-PEC-TA-CU-LAR. From the start, it envelops you in femininity and sweetness, very elegant and warm without being overwhelming or too gourmand. I adore it, though on my skin it fades quickly. My husband says it lasts quite a while, but I can’t smell it after a few hours… such a pity. Edition (Oct 2022): Already in autumn, with temperatures under 20 degrees, I tried it again, and now longevity has multiplied, exceeding 6 hours on skin. A marvel.
The scent is beautiful, but it’s nothing surprising, and longevity on skin and clothes is very poor. The quality-to-price ratio is disproportionate in my opinion. I’ve seen it in niche shops, yet it smells nothing like niche, no matter how good the brand is. It disappointed me quite a bit; maybe my expectations were too high.
Probably the only one to say it, but it smells identical to Dior’s Hypnotic Poison: much more potent, rich, and creamy. Vanilla takes the lead, supported by fine neroli and sandalwood. A friend gifted me 10ml, and it hurts that it’s running out; I loved it so much. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d buy it without hesitation. Lasts over 12 hours, lingering on clothes for days (even overpowering my next-day perfume). Kilometer-long trail, perfect for winter and autumn. Totally unisex. 10/10.
It’s a hyper-creamy white floral, almost lactonic, with an intoxicating dose of vanilla. Its opening is strange, many neroli and jasmines with a citrus touch and a base so creamy that it confuses me at first; as it settles on the skin, it becomes even creamier, almost spreadable. Sweet but not cloying, floral but not so feminine, super unisex. Its longevity on skin is moderate, reaching 7 hours in cold climates. The trail is heavy for the first hour and then softens a lot.
It comes out quite floral, markedly feminine at the start. An exquisite, fine, elegant, and intense aroma in its initial phase. It starts with a marked jasmine, alongside a non-fresh, rather sweet apricot, with a soft woody base. After the initial phase, you can already notice base notes like vanilla, vetiver, and sandalwood, which tilts the scent towards unisex, really unisex. The first hour gave me a bit of embarrassment to wear it, but its evolution is very good, so I recommend men wear it without a problem; it has a development that evolves toward the center. Definitely a spring scent, with good trail, projection, and longevity. From my perspective, it’s a very good perfume worth it; Nishane always surprises us with their quality. For people over 28, for informal and semi-formal wear. Scent 8/10, Trail 8.5/10, Longevity 9/10, Projection 8.5/10.
I was going to buy it without trying, big mistake. I had the chance a month after spraying it, and it was disappointing (thank God I didn’t buy it in my moment of consumerism). Maybe I had too much faith because of the high price, but it lasted a maximum of two hours. The scent smells like a supermarket cologne.
I love this perfume; it smells very different from everything I own: fruity, sweet, balsamic, woody… It’s a perfume that evolves over time, it doesn’t stay static, and every aroma I perceive is incredibly addictive. I don’t feel the longevity like I do with other perfumes, but people definitely notice it; whenever I wear it, they ask about it. For now, it’s my favorite; I just love it.
I was going to buy it without testing it, a huge mistake. I had the opportunity to try it a month after spraying it, and it was disappointing (thank god I didn’t buy it in my moment of consumerism). Maybe I had too much faith because of the high price, but it lasted me a maximum of two hours. Its scent is like a supermarket cologne.
The most androgynous perfume I’ve ever smelled; at no point would you say if it’s feminine or masculine. It has personality and smells extremely well, plus it doesn’t carry anything strange; it’s totally friendly to both your nose and others. As for the unisex (or non-binary, I know) topic, it’s impossible not to think of Calvin Klein’s One. They aren’t alike, but unlike that one, which is extremely flat, the Nishane one is full of nuances that, without being extroverted, give it a lot of personality. A perfume that touches perfection, delivers in every way, a totally viable blind buy, and 100% recommended; enjoy it.
I love this perfume; it has a very different smell from the rest: fruity, sweet, balsamic, woody… It’s a perfume that changes over time, it doesn’t stay stable, and all the scents I perceive are very addictive. I don’t feel the longevity like I do with others, but people definitely notice it; whenever I wear it, they ask about it. For now, it’s my favorite; I love it.
Beautiful, gorgeous, yes. It’s a peach-vanilla syrup, honeyed with flowers, fine, delicate, sweet, divine. To my taste, it’s truly narcotic. In short, it’s a fragrance where you need nothing else; it dresses you completely. I’ve seen reviews comparing it to Black Opium, and yes, it can have similarities, and if you like that one, I doubt you wouldn’t like this too. Although obviously this is on another level. But now comes the tragic part: this has literally ZERO performance, sillage, projection, and longevity. For the price, if I want to smell it minimally for 3-4 hours, I have to drench myself in it right after leaving the house, and even then, not enough. I spray it on skin, clothes, leather, and even apply high-lipid cream so it sticks a bit; I let it macerate. Is my skin the problem? Maybe. But you can’t smell it even if you ask. I carry the 50ml bottle in my bag, which is huge and heavy, just to enjoy it a little. It happens to me exactly the same with Ani, from the same house. Honestly, this doesn’t sit well with me; I think it should be a crime to have a tester that performs incredibly well and then sell you this. I feel like saying it because the scent is gorgeous and elegant, but in this way, it’s a farce and a scam.

But here comes the tragedy: it has literally zero performance, trail, projection, and longevity. For the price, if I want to smell it minimally for 3-4 hours, I have to drench myself in it right after leaving the house, and even then, barely. I spray it on skin, clothes, and leather; I even apply a greasy cream so it sticks a bit. I let it macerate. Is it my skin? Maybe. But no one can smell it even if I ask. It’s on my list of next purchases; that says it all.
I get that tastes in modern perfumery have changed, but this smells divine. It’s an elixir that should be beautiful on a woman’s skin. It surprises with its extreme subtlety: floral as expected, sweet and fruity, very well balanced and almost too good to be true. The floral side is evident, natural, persistent, elegant, and sophisticated; it’s one of the most sensual niches I’ve smelled in years. It blends with the skin and makes it unique. It’s potent for the first two hours, ideal for a spectacular night out. The vanilla mixes with sandalwood and vetiver, something unexpected, less cloying and with earthy nuances, creating a warm, intoxicating blend. Perfect for gifting to someone special, and watch out… it’s totally feminine.
It gives off a fresh vibe, though very basic, like clean talc. At first, it didn’t win me over, but with wear, it has. I agree the trail isn’t much, but sometimes I catch it when I turn my neck or run my hand over my wrist. I see it as unisex; I bought it because of its resemblance to another (Borabora), and this one is more pleasant to me. It lasted a full day in 30-degree heat.
I thought I’d like it, but it didn’t hit me at all. It doesn’t last or leave a trail; I can’t smell anything on me, not even a faint whiff, and others definitely don’t notice it either. Maybe I got ripped off with the decant.
Great surprise. If I had only read the reviews, I would have thought it was feminine—a serious mistake. On my skin, it doesn’t smell feminine at all; nothing fits into a box like this. Try it on your skin. Just avoid extreme heat. Otherwise, go for it. Excellent longevity and projection. Rating: 9/10.
Powdery, discreet, elegant. You can tell the Nishane quality as soon as you spray it. An unsaturated powdery neroli bathed in vanilla and gardenia. Intimate; it only reaches you if you get close. Sometimes sweet and powdery: better in cold weather; in heat, it suffocates. I liked it, but I wouldn’t repurchase; there are better neroli scents. It gives me a hint of L’Interdit.
Just got it and used it once. It doesn’t resemble Opium…
I bought it based on reviews and notes with high expectations. On my skin, I only smell the opening; it doesn’t last at all. What a shame. Edit: I let it sit for 6 months, and on the second try, it’s strong, exquisite, and lasted over 8 hours on skin and clothes 👏
It has nothing in common with Black Opium. I don’t get any coffee scent. It’s exquisite, feminine, and sexy.
Maybe reminds me of Black Opium with the vanilla and jasmine, but it’s superior. Discreet and exquisite. I only question the quality-to-price ratio.
Not like Black Opium; they’re different. Nishane is fruity, easy, a cocktail of juicy fruits. I wouldn’t say it smells ‘sexy,’ it’s just enjoyable. Ideal for starting in niche. Season: spring-summer (not heavy). Average trail, 5 hours on dry skin, but worth it.
Gave it another chance and yes, very intense and exotic. Playful, it reminds you that you’re alive with its bursts. Very unisex. I’ll definitely buy it, but watch the sprays since it’s potent.
The notes didn’t catch my attention at first, but on skin, it’s a hit. Opens with fresh fruit, tangerine, and peach; dries down to edible vanilla and floral, nothing invasive. Smells refined, floral-aldehydic. Works in any weather, tested in spring without being overwhelming. Would definitely buy the bottle.
Safe purchase, magical. The seller nailed it. Smells like sweet tangerine on a cold, sunny day—tender, not gourmet. Doesn’t seem to project because it’s intimate, yet it does so effortlessly without you noticing. Perfect for starting in niche. For me, the white scent in color.
