Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs

Mmm, I have mixed feelings about this perfume. On its own, it’s lovely: smells like pear, wisteria, jasmine, and a touch of musk. It smells clean and fresh, but the projection is skin-scent only and it lasts very little, like two hours, sometimes four. Wait for the grapefruit or lychee notes to shine, as those are my favorites. It’s something for everyday use, ideal for throwing something on quickly before heading to the supermarket without feeling too put-together.

I really like it for spring-summer; it’s the most feminine perfume I own and I still enjoy it. I hate perfumes that are too sweet, so Daisy Dream gives me a comfortable balance between floral, fruity, and sweet. I use it in warm climates. Maybe in winter it deserves a try because the cold would give it another character. It’s quite youthful and feminine, a bit playful but nothing invasive.

It’s one of the most exquisite and tender things I’ve ever smelled. It seems like a cocktail of flowers bathed in lychee. It feels innocent, tender, and delicate, a perfume exactly like its bottle.

Delicate, harmonious, youthful, and spring-like perfume. I tried it years ago on a trip and although I didn’t buy it, I always kept it on my wishlist because I liked its scent. Recently, I was finally able to buy it and I love it. It’s extremely floral with a citrus touch, ideal for spring and summer, for those hot days where I’m looking for something fresh and wearable. Just what I needed, since I have several sweet and gourmand perfumes and wanted something different, a soft and versatile floral for daily use in the heat. It has a special touch from the wisteria note, which I find very interesting and few perfumes have. Although it’s soft, it has a perceptible sillage and generates compliments. On my skin, it lasts about 4 or 5 hours, then I reapply, but it’s not bad for an EDT. It seems very feminine and ethereal, transporting me to a natural flower meadow. Without a doubt, a very good option if you like delicate florals.

Why does the bottle have to be so beautiful? That’s the only thing stopping me from using it. That blue is my favorite shade, but the scent sounds very alcoholic to me. Generally, I like the Daisy line, but I don’t perceive any notes in this one except that alcohol smell. It feels clean, but I don’t detect any notes, giving a sensation similar to a hairspray fixative, like with YSL Parisienne due to the shared notes of blackberry and musk. I don’t know if it’s because mine is an old batch and evaporated, since I see that recent ones come without flowers and my bottle still has the little flowers.

Oh my god, Alberto Morillas makes all the same perfumes. It smells very similar to Omnia Coral by Bvlgari. People say Omnia Coral is like Daisy Eau So Fresh, and that one is like the classic, so most Marc Jacobs scents smell identical. 😡 It’s unfair; they just change the bottle; the scent is nice, but they all smell the same, only the price varies. And even though I haven’t smelled Daisy, if you already own them, don’t buy Omnia or this one either, because they’re very similar. 🙄

My husband’s aunt let me smell it and asked if I used Bella by Nina Ricci; she showed me the bottle. No doubt, they smell very similar, almost identical.

Undoubtedly, a beautiful presentation with soft, sweet notes. It’s a nice, subtle, and feminine scent. If you want to smell good without being intrusive, it’s a good option. I like it for daily wear, fresh and clean. However, if you’re looking to stand out and have it noticed easily, it’s not your choice; the trail isn’t marked and the longevity is average… it depends on everyone; it lasts quite a bit for me, but generally, I’m a long-lasting person. For others, it lasts regularly. It’s worth it, smells nice, and looks pretty; I love the coconut and blackberry notes. But if you’re looking for a scent that represents you, look for other options.

I want it, I could only smell the sample. It’s a delicate scent, it made me think of my clean pajamas, it’s not cotton, but it reminds you of that, comfort. It’s the perfume people say you wear at home or at the mall, super versatile for daily use, like white sneakers in 2021, goes with almost everything. You could use it like Daisy Dream, so I want it in my collection; there are few scents like that in the vibe. I already got it and yes, I confirm what I wrote.

Ridiculously soft for the price. It doesn’t last at all, consider that if you buy it, maybe it’s not a good investment. I couldn’t distinguish the highlighted notes, but what I did find is that it has the base of Versace Yellow Diamond, especially when it dries. Something very faint and pleasant, but for that, I prefer Yellow Diamond since it lasts longer ☺️ Addendum: Bella by Nina Ricci also resembles Yellow Diamond, so Daisy Dream smells familiar with those two.

Sweet and soft fragrance; the blackberry and coconut notes are very noticeable. Perfect for daytime use, giving a youthful touch.

It’s nice, but nothing special; feels like a catalog perfume. While many of these last longer, this one doesn’t even reach that. I tried it with Decadence cream, and the cream smelled much stronger, whereas the Daisy was almost gone after a while. It’s fine for a young girl just out of high school who likes soft scents. Anyway, bread and butter.

In my opinion, it’s nothing extraordinary, similar to some celebrity scents. Daisy Dream is fruity and sweet, with a sweet, creamy coconut base. Ideal for spending the day at home or for quick days at the bank or grocery store. It’s light and non-invasive, but the trail is very weak and the longevity is moderate, about two to three hours. Would I buy it again? No. It’s pleasant, but it doesn’t envelop me. No projection, just skin scent. Perfect after a shower.

A good option if you like a talc-like scent in summer, since it’s very soft, which becomes a drawback in winter because it’s too subtle. I wish someone would release something similar but more intense, as it costs a fortune and you barely enjoy it. The bottle is gorgeous, and I like the wisteria note; there are few perfumes with that. It’s an innocent and tender scent, one of the ones I like.

A youthful, cute, and pleasant perfume. It’s a fruit cocktail that envelops. Beautiful presentation, like many others from Marc Jacobs. Moderate trail, though it fixes quite well (at least on my skin).
