Reflection Man by Amouage

Absolute beast mode on the citrus opening, then pure magic with a luxurious, unpowdery iris. It doesn’t project much and stays in a personal bubble, but it makes me feel secure. I wore it with family and everyone commented on how incredible the scent was. Lasts 5-6 hours, which is disappointing for the price.

Add this to the list of products where reviews outperform the actual product. Tired of fans writing love letters to a panacea instead of the real perfume. Reflection Man disappointed me even though I was already disillusioned with expensive scents. It’s a good, correct, and clean scent, but I feel it lacks soul. The opening with pink pepper and fairytale rosemary is the best part, but then it becomes one-dimensional. The neroli gets lost between jasmine and creamy sandalwood. I feel that elegance isn’t special without substance. The sandalwood lasts hours, but the perfume itself only 5-6 hours. Compared to AdP, this doesn’t give that niche feeling. Fewer compliments than other perfumes. It’s refined but feels more beautiful than it is. It hasn’t enchanted me. For the price, 5/10.

Fascinating and unique aroma, floral, ideal for spring and summer. Enchants everyone. Gets compliments from everyone. It would be perfect for me, except on my skin it lasts barely two hours. Not worth paying what it costs for such poor performance. If my skin helped, maybe I’d consider buying it. For now, too much of an investment to not enjoy it as I’d like.

My favorite perfume. Totally different, I haven’t felt it on anyone else. I stumbled upon it by chance; a colleague showed it to me and sold it to me. I guess not everyone likes it. Smells exquisite, clean, and elegant. People over 30 have complimented it. The rosemary is noticeable in the opening, but not spicy, just clean.

Great perfume. Elegant and refined, sophisticated but not overwhelming. Soft, creamy, with moderate projection, and very versatile. Ideal for cool climates, where its trail is subtle and enveloping. A mature, classy scent without any fuss. Based on the reviews, I expected more intensity, but it’s quite light; maybe it lacks some punch. Rating: 10/10. Smells like a rich, elegant man. I’d wear it to elegant events, dates, meetings, or formal office settings. For anyone projecting distinction and serenity. Recommended age: 35-55.

I’ve had it for a few days and I must say, by definition, it’s a clean scent. The doctor’s perfume, the professional’s perfume, the serious person’s perfume. Watch out, it’s not for the ‘big person,’ it’s for the serious, formal person with style. That, style. Elegance. Cleanliness.

This perfume is a beast. I can’t talk about performance because I smelled it in a perfumery; I don’t have the purchasing power to buy it, but when I tried it… it was incredible. I don’t know if it has hype or not, nor if the performance is good. But if I have to say something, it’s rich. It delivers a special scent for its price. That said, you always have to smell it before buying, but I’m certain it’s easy to like for any audience.

Almost a perfect perfume, the one you wear whenever you want to smell good and clean, charming and it brings compliments. An all-rounder that’s in my top 3 favorites.

Warm greetings to the community. Straight to the point: it’s a blend of Prada L’Homme L’eau and J.P.G. Fleur de Male, minus the cognac note, and VOILÁ! You have Reflection Man, at least for the first thirty minutes. The scent is magnificent for those who like white florals and a clean feel; it smells of well-executed neroli and jasmine and feels very natural. Unfortunately, it only lasts half an hour on my skin; then it shifts to a simpler, soulless scent that doesn’t impress and lingers for another hour and a half. It’s very, very expensive for the performance and the scent it offers, especially that generic smell after half an hour. I didn’t know the first version, and if it was good as I’ve read, then the reformulation destroyed it. Unacceptable coming from a niche brand that adopts designer house bad practices, reformulating and destroying their creations. Unacceptable too because they are high-cost and supposed to be premium. The worst Amouage fragrance I’ve tried: a resounding NO. It’s a shame because the first half-hour is magnificent. I don’t recommend buying blind; evaluate the performance first. If you don’t like florals, don’t even try it.

I see many love the mama-da. This Amouage smells like the original 1996 Dreamer, minus the tobacco base. Different, elegant, sophisticated, expensive. If you want to feel like ‘my king,’ this is the fragrance; if you’re about to make a big deal, spritz this and you’ll be the king of the table; if you’re chasing a middle-aged girl, this is it. It doesn’t last long, max two hours projecting, 8 hours on skin and clothes for those close enough to greet or hug you. Is it worth it? Only if you want to know what a rich, triumphant, handsome, and fun guy should smell like; if you’re a loser, it’s not for you.

I won’t be too lengthy… it’s my ideal perfume. Its scent is impressive, elegant, unique, very classy. Very good longevity and its trail is in tune with its elegance (not overwhelming or annoying, but noticeable). If you’re looking for a spring and summer perfume that seduces at first sniff… it’s this one.

What is it similar to, Le Male????? XDDD Yes, like an egg to a chestnut. Hahaha ZERO ABSOLUT. I can’t understand what they see as similar. Anyway, here we have another one of my favorites for spring and summer. Just behind Lafayette by Bond nº9 (in scent, in performance Reflection is better). It’s a clean, immaculate white floral like a white sheet washed and hung in the sun. That’s what it smells like. An opening with rosemary where the herbal blends with the floral of neroli, jasmine, and ylang ylang; then you notice the vetiver and patchuli, which makes perfect sense because it continues the green started by the rosemary. It ends with those distant, soft woody notes that give it creaminess and a bit of weight. A dense, masculine floral with lots of personality. Nothing tepid. It has a very characteristic footprint. Very Amouage without being anything Amouage. Anyone who knows the brand will understand me. In summary: Age 20+, unisex, bottled spring, though it also works in summer. Scent: 9.5/10. Longevity: 9/10. Duration: +8h. Projection: 8.5/10. Versatility: 9/10. $$$$ 3.65€/ml. Final Score: 9/10.
