To everyone who liked Reflection Man, I advise trying KHADLAJ SHIYAAKA and comparing them side by side, one in each hand. It’s like wearing the same fragrance on both sides; I did it and couldn’t tell them apart.
I tried it a while ago and it always caught my attention. I’ve considered buying it many times due to the price, but let me tell you: IT’S WORTH EVERY PENNY. It has a sharp opening, yes, and it resembles Le Male by Gaultier, but then it becomes more creamy and enveloping. It also reminds me of ‘The Air of the Swiss Alps’. It’s wearable in any context; it’s my signature scent, but I don’t want to use it up. Very happy with the purchase; I’ll be using it a lot. Thanks to Antonio from Fraganceando and Calitxe for giving me the idea.
I’m leaving this comment to see how long it takes me to finally buy it. The scent is rich; I fell in love with it the moment I tried it. With the extrait version, I was sure it had the right DNA. The ideal way to wear it is with a white shirt at the office; it’s elegant and formal.
I used to bathe in Paul Gaultier when I was 16, and I recognize it from a mile away. Today, trying Reflection Man, it undoubtedly reminded me of that scent. It’s a bit less cloying, but they’re about 90% similar.
I’ve been wanting to try this for a while, and today I finally did. Even though it’s an older fragrance, it reminded me of two things: first, the sillage of YSL’s MYSLF (white floral with woods and green notes), confirming they were inspired by it. Second, up close, it smells like JPG, probably due to that iris vibe giving it a talc-like touch, though less sweet. If you can’t buy the original, YSL does a similar job at a good price. But if you can afford Reflection Man, it’s worth it for the quality.
For me, this is the best fragrance to wear with a tie. Although I’m not one of those who feel more elegant with a tie, this perfume does. The opening is captivating, but what fascinates me is that perfect blend of notes I can’t quite separate. In the dry down, the ylang-ylang and iris (which I adore) tie it all together. It’s a delicate, elegant scent meant to be enjoyed alone. If they tell you it’s from an Arab house, it sounds like a joke. It’s like a matured JPG Le Male, leaving behind the harshness to become refined. This is truly fine and masculine.
It smells like a soft floral mixed with herbs like rosemary, making it perfect for men. It has personality and looks great whether you’re wearing a suit or a t-shirt and shorts in the summer. It’s a scent everyone loves, nothing like those inaccessible niche fragrances. Longevity on skin is medium-high, but the sillage is soft, nothing like the ‘beast mode’ people talk about. The price is high, but if anything over 120€ already seems expensive to you, this is your limit.
I love white flowers, and Reflection Man didn’t disappoint. The rosemary blends beautifully with a subtle hint of pepper, then the floral heart explodes with gorgeous neroli. It’s not an extreme classic masculine scent, but I love it. Honestly, it doesn’t represent what Amouage usually does with their oriental blends; objectively, it’s a fairly basic composition of top, heart, and base, but of excellent quality. If you have the money, buy it; it smells fantastic.
A floral, aromatic, and woody fragrance. At first, it smells of white flowers with herbal notes, very similar to the new YSL MYSLF. Over time, the wood takes over, but the flowers remain, creating a pleasant scent ideal for daytime wear or spring and autumn outings. Longevity is good, lasting over 8 hours, though the sillage is average. It’s unisex with a slight masculine lean. Yes, it’s expensive, but if you like it and can afford it, go for it. If not, MYSLF is a very close alternative.
Reflection Man is pure masculine luxury. Every time I wear it, I feel that ‘alpha male’ confidence everyone talks about, but without being cheesy. The best part? It doesn’t smell bad on anyone; quite the opposite, women love it and I get noticed at every outing. The rosemary, pink pepper, and that clean jasmine blended with white woods create a crisp and powerful scent. I’ve tried the extrait, but for now, I’m sticking with this. And to those complaining about the price or blaming Antonio from Fraganceando: if you bought it just because you saw the video but never smelled it, the fault is yours. He always says you have to smell it before spending those 350€. It’s a must-have for any niche collector who likes this style. 100% recommended.
If Le Male is the cheap water from the supermarket, this is Solan de cabras, just a bit more expensive, a bit finer, but buying it will make you feel, in a somewhat fake way, that you’re above your neighbor. I can’t be clearer.
What is it similar to, Le Male????? XDDD Yes, like an egg to a chestnut. Hahaha ZERO ABSOLUT. I can’t understand what they see as similar. Anyway, here we have another one of my favorites for spring and summer. Just behind Lafayette by Bond nº9 (in scent, in performance Reflection is better). It’s a clean, immaculate white floral like a white sheet washed and hung in the sun. That’s what it smells like. An opening with rosemary where the herbal blends with the floral of neroli, jasmine, and ylang ylang; then you notice the vetiver and patchuli, which makes perfect sense because it continues the green started by the rosemary. It ends with those distant, soft woody notes that give it creaminess and a bit of weight. A dense, masculine floral with lots of personality. Nothing tepid. It has a very characteristic footprint. Very Amouage without being anything Amouage. Anyone who knows the brand will understand me. In summary: Age 20+, unisex, bottled spring, though it also works in summer. Scent: 9.5/10. Longevity: 9/10. Duration: +8h. Projection: 8.5/10. Versatility: 9/10. $$$$ 3.65€/ml. Final Score: 9/10.
I’ll start at the end. The price-to-performance ratio (on my skin) is far from what I’m looking for. The scent is very good, a gift of white flowers with a light spicy touch and a dark base; all together form an aromatic fragrance with a clean, soapy, elegant, and seductive profile. Flowers with talc-like nuances where nothing stands out, and the packaging is optimal. If I want to dress well with a clean but slightly different scent, this option is very good. But then, of course, we have to add performance and price to the scale. There, unfortunately, it performs quite poorly (max 3-4 hours) and the projection is extremely moderate. It really bugs me. Since Amouage doesn’t usually give these performances on my skin… but said that, it’s a shame.
I won’t be too lengthy… it’s my ideal perfume. Its scent is impressive, elegant, unique, very classy. Very good longevity and its trail is in tune with its elegance (not overwhelming or annoying, but noticeable). If you’re looking for a spring and summer perfume that seduces at first sniff… it’s this one.
Heavily reformulated, but still rich. Is it worth trying? Yes. Is it worth the cost? No.
I see many love the mama-da. This Amouage smells like the original 1996 Dreamer, minus the tobacco base. Different, elegant, sophisticated, expensive. If you want to feel like ‘my king,’ this is the fragrance; if you’re about to make a big deal, spritz this and you’ll be the king of the table; if you’re chasing a middle-aged girl, this is it. It doesn’t last long, max two hours projecting, 8 hours on skin and clothes for those close enough to greet or hug you. Is it worth it? Only if you want to know what a rich, triumphant, handsome, and fun guy should smell like; if you’re a loser, it’s not for you.
The most winning fragrance in history, to infinity and beyond. Wearing Amouage Reflection Man is like holding the Ace of Spades with a 33 in hand. I want a four, and I’m missing the win. How would you describe it? It’s stardust sprinkled on Hermione’s wand. It’s asking the queen of the ball for her phone and getting it. Few scents are this perfect. Worth pawning the car for a 2.5ml decant. If I could only have one bottle, it would be this, or maybe a 40-year Glenfiddich. It’s much more than a one-way trip; it’s a free ticket with unlimited miles. Another time I’ll tell you what this platinum gem smells like. I’m still in awe. Cheers, good people.
Warm greetings to the community. Straight to the point: it’s a blend of Prada L’Homme L’eau and J.P.G. Fleur de Male, minus the cognac note, and VOILÁ! You have Reflection Man, at least for the first thirty minutes. The scent is magnificent for those who like white florals and a clean feel; it smells of well-executed neroli and jasmine and feels very natural. Unfortunately, it only lasts half an hour on my skin; then it shifts to a simpler, soulless scent that doesn’t impress and lingers for another hour and a half. It’s very, very expensive for the performance and the scent it offers, especially that generic smell after half an hour. I didn’t know the first version, and if it was good as I’ve read, then the reformulation destroyed it. Unacceptable coming from a niche brand that adopts designer house bad practices, reformulating and destroying their creations. Unacceptable too because they are high-cost and supposed to be premium. The worst Amouage fragrance I’ve tried: a resounding NO. It’s a shame because the first half-hour is magnificent. I don’t recommend buying blind; evaluate the performance first. If you don’t like florals, don’t even try it.
This is a powerhouse for those who love clean floral scents. I absolutely love the jasmine and neroli blend; it smells like spring. The only downside is that, while its performance on my skin isn’t as bad as I’ve read about others, given the price, I think it should be above average. That said, it fades quickly, or it would be a true jewel.
Does Armani Code not give you air?
It’s my favorite perfume. Maybe it’s not an original scent or one that proposes much, but it’s rich, and it’s one of those perfumes that every time I smell it puts me in a good mood, and for me, that’s totally worth it. Very few of my collection of over 50 perfumes make me feel that way.
Almost a perfect perfume, the one you wear whenever you want to smell good and clean, charming and it brings compliments. An all-rounder that’s in my top 3 favorites.
The Rolex Submariner of perfumes. You wear it in sweatpants or at your wedding. You wear it in the Arctic or the Caribbean. How is this possible? An ode to versatility.
This perfume is a beast. I can’t talk about performance because I smelled it in a perfumery; I don’t have the purchasing power to buy it, but when I tried it… it was incredible. I don’t know if it has hype or not, nor if the performance is good. But if I have to say something, it’s rich. It delivers a special scent for its price. That said, you always have to smell it before buying, but I’m certain it’s easy to like for any audience.
A true work of art. Although Amouage often makes things too much for the Western world, Reflection is the perfect balance. White flowers mixed with wood in an impressive way to be masculine. At first, I didn’t believe it, but after trying it and buying the bottle, I’m thrilled. I use it for any occasion; it denotes seriousness and good taste. The price is high, but it’s worth every penny. As a perfume lover, it’s a must-know and enjoy scent of unparalleled quality. 1000/10.
I’ve had it for a few days and I must say, by definition, it’s a clean scent. The doctor’s perfume, the professional’s perfume, the serious person’s perfume. Watch out, it’s not for the ‘big person,’ it’s for the serious, formal person with style. That, style. Elegance. Cleanliness.
Bought a decant out of curiosity. A unique and special fragrance; they call it ‘the perfume God would wear,’ and I couldn’t agree more. It smells divine. Here, talking about individual notes doesn’t matter; the key is the whole, the cohesion, and what it conveys: perfection, cleanliness, maturity, good taste, and mystery. It doesn’t quite suit me; I’m more laid-back, and this is serious and elegant. I won’t buy the bottle because of the price; I’d probably just keep it, but it’s one of the few in this range that, in my opinion, is worth it. Probably my favorite. Curious, because I don’t own it and wouldn’t use it much even if I did.
Great perfume. Elegant and refined, sophisticated but not overwhelming. Soft, creamy, with moderate projection, and very versatile. Ideal for cool climates, where its trail is subtle and enveloping. A mature, classy scent without any fuss. Based on the reviews, I expected more intensity, but it’s quite light; maybe it lacks some punch. Rating: 10/10. Smells like a rich, elegant man. I’d wear it to elegant events, dates, meetings, or formal office settings. For anyone projecting distinction and serenity. Recommended age: 35-55.
An anthem to modern masculinity. From the first moment, it wraps you in sophistication and power. Fresh spicy notes, an elegant floral heart, and a warm base that lasts. It’s for the man who isn’t afraid to stand out, radiating confidence and security. It adapts to everything: important meetings or special nights. If you’re looking to define yourself as a modern, secure, and impeccably stylish man, this is your choice. Total versatility.
My favorite perfume. Totally different, I haven’t felt it on anyone else. I stumbled upon it by chance; a colleague showed it to me and sold it to me. I guess not everyone likes it. Smells exquisite, clean, and elegant. People over 30 have complimented it. The rosemary is noticeable in the opening, but not spicy, just clean.
Calm and peace in a bottle. Reflection is delicate and creamy, a comfort that words can’t explain. Nothing like Le Male to me. Once I finish the decant, I’ll see if it’s worth the full bottle, especially since they say it’s been reformulated (for the worse, as usually happens).
Fascinating and unique aroma, floral, ideal for spring and summer. Enchants everyone. Gets compliments from everyone. It would be perfect for me, except on my skin it lasts barely two hours. Not worth paying what it costs for such poor performance. If my skin helped, maybe I’d consider buying it. For now, too much of an investment to not enjoy it as I’d like.
It’s the perfume version of Nivea for Men Balsamic aftershave. Identical scent, a blatant copy. I don’t understand why this isn’t discussed more. If Lattafa made it, it’s an imitation; if Amouage, it must be a coincidence.
Opening with neroli and jasmine, unisex. Paired with an iris note that gives it a powdery tone, which isn’t really my thing.
The first spray smells like white rosemary, distinct from the lavender of the 80s. As it evolves, it vaguely reminds me of Polo Sport from 30 years ago. If you liked that, you’ll love this.
Perfect harmony between fresh spice and white florals. Projects well in the first few hours, but the longevity is limited for its price range.
A masterpiece, one of the best woody florals I’ve ever smelled. Cheerful and fresher than its older sibling Reflection 45, though not super fresh. Perfect for winter, spring, or autumn. Delicious, elegant, and a must-have in my collection.
Add this to the list of products where reviews outperform the actual product. Tired of fans writing love letters to a panacea instead of the real perfume. Reflection Man disappointed me even though I was already disillusioned with expensive scents. It’s a good, correct, and clean scent, but I feel it lacks soul. The opening with pink pepper and fairytale rosemary is the best part, but then it becomes one-dimensional. The neroli gets lost between jasmine and creamy sandalwood. I feel that elegance isn’t special without substance. The sandalwood lasts hours, but the perfume itself only 5-6 hours. Compared to AdP, this doesn’t give that niche feeling. Fewer compliments than other perfumes. It’s refined but feels more beautiful than it is. It hasn’t enchanted me. For the price, 5/10.
The best fragrance I’ve ever tried: masculine, delicate, and supremely high-quality. Smells like clean sheets, powder, and florals with nuances that make you lose yourself. It conveys calmness, is slightly sweet with a metallic and cool touch. Pristine, crystal clear, and subtle. Wish I could afford it someday. Flawless.
Absolute beast mode on the citrus opening, then pure magic with a luxurious, unpowdery iris. It doesn’t project much and stays in a personal bubble, but it makes me feel secure. I wore it with family and everyone commented on how incredible the scent was. Lasts 5-6 hours, which is disappointing for the price.
