Emblem by Montblanc

Nice fragrance, citrusy with sweet and spicy notes. Ideal for spring or autumn; I don’t see it working for extreme heat or cold. It’s good for day and night. Lasts about 5 hours, fading to a personal bubble; projects well for the first hour then drops off.

Could be considered a ‘blue’ fragrance due to its great versatility, ideal as a signature scent. Citrus, spicy, and slightly sweet notes stand out. It’s moderate in longevity and projection, but attracts compliments for its pleasant aroma, even if it’s not innovative. That said, it is quite linear.

If you give it a different vibe, use it as an alternative from the line. It brings back lovely and bitter memories (it smells like last winter to me) and became my favorite for that creamy floral sweet cinnamon with a grapefruit top note. My acquaintances described the dry down as chocolatey, like Emblem, not Bad Boy. The peculiar thing is it adapts to the environment: try not to wear it where it might smell bad, because even if others don’t notice, when you walk by, the scents mix. It wasn’t very long-lasting, but the sillage was decent; people right next to you will definitely smell it. I recommend spraying it on the head, neck, shoulders, collarbones, and ears.

Commercial, tasty, suitable for all men and ages, like a CH Men but without the soft leather that reminds me of sweet tobacco. In the case of Mont Blanc, it’s more cinnamon, violet, and sandalwood, bringing it a bit closer to the bestseller YSL La Nuit de L’Homme EDT. To me, in today’s 2024 market, it feels like a somewhat generic, overheard scent. The bottle design is beautiful, very in line with Montblanc’s elegant style (feathers, luxury pens). Longevity and projection are typical of the house, quite moderate leaning towards weak. Fair price. Nowadays it’s hard to find in major department stores; if you search, especially online, you can find it. You don’t pay a fortune for this; anything over 60 euros for 100ml is getting expensive.

Delicious, sexy fragrance, masculine, fresh, and with a very soft warmth that I would have no problem wearing as a signature scent.

This is a straight copy of Roberto Cavalli Uomo; side by side, you can’t tell the difference at all.

Rich and delicious. I gifted it to my dad for his birthday and he loved it, and so do I.

I just bought it and it reminds me of The Icon by Antonio Banderas, but softer and warmer. I’m not sure which came first, but I think they’re on the same line thanks to the grapefruit and cinnamon.

In short, it’s a night fragrance. It lasts about 5 hours and is perfect for family events or dinner out, nothing too formal. Rating it 9/10 for price, scent, and longevity.

I remember thinking it was too strong at first, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. When I gave it a second chance, I loved it, and it’s one of my most-used scents. When I first put it on, it smells like something indescribable—I imagine what people mean by ‘ozone,’ very pleasant. As it dries down, it smells like subtle cinnamon with discreet woody notes. It lasts over 8 hours on my skin; I can even smell it on my clothes late at night. Around the sixth or seventh hour, a coworker asked what I was wearing because it reached him from over a meter away, which surprised me. Some women don’t like it. It has excellent value; I found it for $850 MXN for 100ml. The presentation is striking, but the cap is fragile. I give it 10/10 for scent, longevity, and projection. It deserves a try before judging; it can be a pleasant surprise like mine, and I haven’t found anything similar. I’ll definitely buy it again when I run out.

I had a bottle and never bought it again. If it’s for men, it smells good, but the scent is a bit generic, like a magazine perfume; it doesn’t stand out without being bad. Performance is average for Montblanc: little sillage, little projection, short longevity, stays very close to the skin quickly. I’d advise buying it only if you’ve tried many other options and want to experiment with something different.

This is by far… the only bad thing (very bad) about Montblanc… just smelling it was incredibly unpleasant and even repulsive to me (they were selling it as one of the store’s best back in 2015 if I remember correctly). For me, it’s unisex, leaning feminine (I don’t know who said this was for men), but a feminine scent that abuses sweetness and synthetics, absolutely nothing like 212 VIP. I see it for very young people who like partying… someone older or with better taste will consider this a joke of very bad taste.

Bought it blindly and it was a mistake. It smelled repulsive when I tried it, and even after all this time, I still don’t like it. It smells like One Million with violet, which makes it unpleasant. Everyone I’ve let wear it made a face of disgust. Period.
