I’m absolutely in love with this perfume! It reminds me a ton of Lipstick Rose by Frederick Malle. It’s floral, sweet, and super powdery, just like the lipsticks, as Olorami says. Iris, violet, powdery notes, and rose stand out. The talc boosts that dusty feeling, while the vanilla and its special woods give it character. The aldehydes keep it airy, so even though it’s intense, it feels fresh and is ideal for spring/summer. Classically more feminine than masculine, but I adore these kinds of scents and would even think about ordering it if I find it cheap online. Scent: 9.5, Longevity: 7.5, Sillage: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 8, Uniqueness: 9, Overall: 9.

I’m really blown away by this! It reminds me of Lipstick Rose by Frederick Malle. It’s floral, sweet, and super powdery—just like the lipstick scent Olorami describes. Iris, violet, powdery notes, and rose take the lead here. The talc amps up that dusty vibe, while the vanilla and its special woods add character. The aldehydes keep it airy, so even though it’s intense, it feels fresh and perfect for spring/summer. Classically more feminine, but I love these kinds of scents and would even consider buying it if I find it cheap online. 3. Finally tried this perfume and others from this lesser-known brand; the sample is small, but I’ve been stretching it out for months. Perlerette instantly transports me back to my childhood, to the classic lip crayons my mom kept in her chic purse, not to mention my grandma’s in her vanity. It smells like they whipped up 1920s lipsticks and bottled them. It’s soft, feminine, very real, and undeniably lipstick-like. It’s beautiful; it doesn’t smell like modern lipsticks at all. I’ll say it again: it smells like a classic lip crayon.
