Yellow Diamond Intense by Versace

Ugh, it’s completely obsessed me. I’ve tried similar ones, but none match this bergamot: citrusy, persistent, and sharp, wrapped in white florals. It doesn’t sting like others that burn my nose; here it’s crisp and dry. It can be intense or polarizing, but it has hooked me. Try it before buying; you might fall in love.

Cute… I feel very comfortable in it. It has the freshness and sweetness spring-summer needs. At first, I was resistant, but honestly, I love it. The opening is a bit spicy, like cutting a lemon, similar to Bright Cristal. Then fruits and flowers emerge. The dry down is exquisite: creamy, floral, yellow, with orange notes and a hint of mimosa. I like it because it’s different from others. It has captivated me. I like the regular Yellow, but not as much as this.

It was the first perfume my father gave me. I adore its longevity on my skin and its fresh scent. Bergamot dominates at the start, and just after, orange blossom, freesia, and amber unfold harmoniously, leaving a pleasant sensation.

I love it; it’s one of my favorites because it smells strong; I wash my clothes and it’s still there. It’s quite citrusy and woody. It has generated several compliments.

It’s a fresh and sweet fragrance, dominated by pear, freesia, and musk. I prefer this Intense version over Yellow Diamond, as Intense has better longevity. The downside is I don’t like powdery fragrances, and although it’s not formally powdery, it feels that way after a few minutes. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price; there are richer options with better skin performance. The bottle is beautiful.

It happened to me like another user: I tried it multiple times at freeshops, and then, when I bought it, don’t ask me why, I hated it. I couldn’t use it again; it repulses me and makes me feel suffocated. I still have it, but I only wear it once every three months. It’s not ugly, but I don’t like it. I wouldn’t buy it again.

It reminds me of Yellow Diamond, but it doesn’t hook me; despite sharing a name, they feel completely different. I miss the Italian lemon and mimosa notes so much. This isn’t bad, but since the original already won me over, there’s no going back. I’ll use Intense occasionally, but without love or dislike—it’s unlikely I’ll repeat it.

I decided to buy it after trying the regular version, but the Intense left me speechless. It lasts all day long, and on my skin, the bergamot and orange blossom really shine.

Delicious. I own both versions, and they are fresh, elegant, and have a mentholated touch they don’t explicitly state but you can definitely feel. Ideal for heat and also for night. It lasts a long time and leaves a nice trail, though I always recommend testing on skin first.

It’s gorgeous, evoking warmth and sensuality at the same time. You can’t go unnoticed; compliments come in bulk. I love it.

I tested it several times in the store and liked it, but when I finally bought it and used it for the first time, it was pure hate. It’s not refined or fresh; it’s coarse and heavy. It’s citrusy but sweet, a combination that doesn’t suit me. The sour apple mixed with wood, flowers, and some ‘unknown’ note smells so strong on me that it gives me a headache and nose pain. I would have loved to smell more pear, but it seems overshadowed. It lives up to its name ‘Intense’ because it really is very intense; one puff makes me dizzy. I won’t repurchase, and nowadays I struggle to use it.

Today I had the pleasant surprise of discovering this fragrance, which was perfect for this clear, warm, and sunny winter in the city. It’s a delicate scent where citrus notes are well-balanced with woody and seductive accords. The flowers are classic but with a refinement that doesn’t make them overwhelming or synthetic… I think I’ll add it to my wishlist. The projection was good; despite its subtlety, it has a lot of aura, and the longevity is excellent. I suppose it will be fabulous in spring, and fuchsia lovers will adore it without a doubt.
