The name says it all: it’s like Lady Vengeance on steroids. It smells warmer, spicier, muskier, and more animalic than the previous one, with an overdose of patchouli that makes it darker. Thanks to the tonka bean, vanilla, and labdanum (though I barely notice them), it feels more nocturnal and oriental. The rose is natural but extreme and saturated. Still, it keeps that postmodern touch of synthetically loud, sensual, velvety, and elegant rose typical of Juliette Has a Gun. I like it for that balance within imbalance: to make a statement. Sweet, sweet revenge, nothing served cold.
Every time they take away the best things, they force you to smell vanilla and coconut everywhere.
