Got this as a gift in those 25ml bottles, which are super cute. It’s my favorite out of the four. At first, it smells like powdery, creamy rose—kinda overwhelming, but exactly what I was drawn to; it reminds me of YSL Paris. Then that heaviness fades, turning aquatic and ozonic, like Yssey Miyaki Pleasures. It smells clean with roses, not soapy. I love it and might repurchase it as a budget-friendly alternative to those expensive perfumes, using it as a cologne since the bottle size is generous.
It’s advertised as an eau de parfum but isn’t. It has art deco aesthetics and a Provençal origin, but the rose scent felt artificial, like fabric softener with a dirty green base. The second time I tried it on skin, the opening was aromatic with licorice and bitter herb nuances, but it vanished in half an hour. From there to three hours, it smelled like dishwater, just like those pink floor cleaners I mixed with bleach during the pandemic. It has its audience, but for roses, I prefer classic and reliable options, like Tea Rose by The Perfumer’s Workshop.

First off: this is cologne, not perfume. It pulls off a weird trick between grandma’s air freshener and a teenager’s body spray. The fruity notes cut through the initial floral burst, while the woody base keeps it from smelling like Mercadona. The rose is synthetic and gets lost thanks to the jasmine and lily, though sometimes the flowers sound like weird violet candies. Great for spring if you want something neither cloying nor green, but watch out: it lasts 20 minutes and is only good for spraying on your pillow. The bottle is pretty for decoration, but if you want real, cheap roses, grab the big bottle from Instituto Español: 5€ for 750ml and it smells like actual roses, no glass cleaner aftertaste.
I’m only talking about the first 10 minutes because after that, it’s basically placebo. This isn’t really perfume; it’s a floral cologne that miraculously avoids smelling like an old lady’s room freshener or a 15-year-old’s body spray. The fruity notes cut through the initial floral blast, while the woody base balances the youthful vibe so it doesn’t feel like something from Mercadona. Rose isn’t the main accord, which is good; it’s a synthetic rose that goes unnoticed among lily and jasmine, though sometimes the flowers sound like weird violet candies.
