Like a dip into geraniums (here they call them mallows, don’t confuse with malvón). It brings to mind my grandparents’ backyard in summer. It doesn’t last long, but it smells like cleanliness and simple pleasures. The bottle is gorgeous, and now with refills it’s more eco-friendly and affordable. The fruits aren’t very prominent, except for the pear; for me, it’s floral, or like tree-fruit blossoms, with that geranium taking center stage.
Dipping into a bed of geraniums; in Argentina we used to call this flower ‘mallow’ to distinguish it from the less fragrant ‘malvón’. It brings back memories of my grandparents’ patio in summer. It doesn’t last long, but it’s a lovely, fresh, very summery scent that smells like cleanliness and simple pleasures. The bottle is gorgeous, and now with a refill option, it’s more eco-friendly and affordable (the refill comes in a larger quantity at a better price, and if you keep the bottle, you can just refill it). The fruit notes aren’t very prominent except for the pear; for me, it’s more floral than fruity, smelling like fruit tree blossoms in addition to the geranium.
Fresh, sweet, and cheerful like a sunlit awakening. That blend of pear, apple, and mimosa makes it sparkling and vital. It’s the most joyful in the collection, with fruity notes that remind me of Hypnôse, but the contrast is total here: no vanilla, just a playful watery touch against Lancôme’s intense elegance.
