Perfect for switching up the citrus and soapy vibes in summer. Don’t be fooled; it’s still citrusy at the start, but soon pear and apple take over, giving it a sweeter tone than classic summer scents. Vanilla and amber give it body, so it’s not as fleeting. Lasts about 5-6 hours, with projection reaching mid-arm, which is more than enough. Note: some days it gives me olfactory fatigue, especially at the beginning, so if you stop smelling it quickly, that might be why. Blind buy? If my description appeals to you or you’re looking for something different for summer, yes, it’s safe. If you’re hunting for something classic like Y EDP or Blue de Chanel, this isn’t your spot.

I have mixed feelings: I love this fragrance, its longevity is acceptable, but the projection is very poor. Maybe it improves with oxidation, perhaps? Still, if I compare it to Art of Universe, I’m 10 times more into Turathi. Update 13/03/26: After a few months, I decided to pick it up. The hype had died down, autumn was approaching, and I felt like giving it a chance. I must admit the scent caught my attention a lot, as I once owned Maison Asrar Legacy, which is about 80% similar, but Turathi is fresher, lighter, and more versatile. As for longevity, it was a surprise: it fluctuated between 7 and 8 hours, very acceptable. And the projection was a comfortable 2 hours.

Citrusy, sweet, a bit fruity, drying down to a musky, almost shower gel-like scent. Unisex for sure, no issues for women. It’s a soft, summery aroma, somewhat boring, offering nothing you can’t find in similar fragrances, but with performance matching the price. Projection is scarce or tends to fade to skin-level very quickly, with four hours of longevity if you’re generous. Honestly, I recommend going for Turathi Blue instead—a citrus that, while not my favorite, will give you almost twice the satisfaction, or at least make you feel more perfumed. Try before you buy; don’t buy blind due to hype, there are many enthusiastic YouTubers floating around. Cheers.

Sweet citrus, slightly fruity, drying down to a musky scent, almost like shower gel. Totally unisex and no issues for women. It’s a soft, summery, and somewhat boring aroma that doesn’t bring anything you can’t find in similar fragrances, but the performance matches the price. The projection is weak or stays on the skin very quickly; about four hours of longevity, being generous. Honestly, I recommend going for Turathi Blue instead, a citrus that, while not my favorite, will last almost twice as long, or at least you’ll feel more perfumed. Test before buying; don’t buy blindly due to hype, as there are many enthusiastic YouTubers around. Cheers.

Honestly, I wanted it for the bottle, which is a work of art. It’s a pleasant, easy, fresh, and slightly sweet fragrance with a dry-down that tends toward the feminine. Bright opening, quite citrusy and lightly sweet with fruit notes in the background. Within minutes, the citrus fades, leaving the fruity notes to take center stage alongside that light sweetness. After an hour, the floral notes dominate, and to be honest, it could be mistaken for a women’s fragrance. Longevity is 3-4 hours on my skin. It has a clear downward projection curve: moderate for the first hour, then dropping until it’s barely skin-scent.

Turathi Electric caught me off guard. I picked it up as a decant out of curiosity when it launched in Dubai, and now it’s already in Mexico. It smells fresh, with mandarin and bergamot, but what I love most is that it smells clean, elegant, and easy to wear. It’s not as sweet as Art of Universe, though they follow a similar line. This one is more versatile, perfect for the office or daily use. It lasts about 6 hours, projects moderately, and smells more expensive than it costs. If you’re looking for something discreet but stylish, I recommend it.

This is a SPECTACULAR perfume 🗣️: juicy pear, green apple, and clean musk summarize this fragrance. Since its release, it’s been very pleasant, not loud, more lowkey. Although it projects decently for about two hours. Completely unisex and versatile; I see it more as a summer and spring scent. I can see myself wearing it with a white shirt and linen pants on a hot night, having an aperol on a terrace; it projects tranquility and confidence. Recommended blindly, unless you like perfumes that smell macho, because otherwise, it’s very, very unisex.

Also tried this weekend. I had already tried ‘Art of Universe’ a while back and hated it; I had this on my list because I’m a huge fan of Turathi Blue, but after learning they share that Blue Talisman DNA, I didn’t want to jump in blind. The opening was quite nice because it didn’t remind me of that AoU at all, but as time passed and the dry-down hit, those loud citrus notes started coming through, which I didn’t like much. It’s fresh for everyday wear, but I just don’t like it, and I’d recommend trying it before buying.

Another hit from Afnan’s Turathi line. Inspired by Ex Nihilo’s Blue Talisman, Turathi Electric is a very well-executed interpretation, better than most dupes. Its DNA is massive and easy: sweet, fruity, with good performance, making it an excellent option for the price. My personal preference goes to the God of Fire DNA, which is more complex and satisfying. In fact, it’s the Blue Talisman profile, not the Turathi, that makes me want to own it for that rounder structure.

Honestly, I bought the bottle just for the visual appeal. It smells good—fresh and sweet, with a dry-down that leans feminine. It starts bright and citrusy, then mellows out to let the fruit and that sweet note shine. By the end, it’s dominated by florals so much it could easily pass as a woman’s perfume. Lasts 3-4 hours on my skin, and the projection fades quickly: strong at first, then almost nothing.

So faint and, to add variety, yet another hyped feminine perfume, what a shame. Men will end up using women’s perfumes 100%. There are few male youthful perfumes (is it an oud-leather scent for grandpas or girls?). They should release good dupes of rich, masculine, youthful perfumes like LV’s Meteore or Chanel’s Allure with current Arab quality. There’s plenty to draw good male dupes from.

I only tested it on blotter paper; I need to try it on my skin to see how long it lasts, but it smells amazing, amazing 🏖️💛. Wish I had known about it sooner since summer is ending here. I tested it alongside Art of Universe, and they don’t resemble each other; both are fresh and summery, but Turathi is fruitier, while Art of Universe dries down to a ginger-floral scent.

Tested this weekend. I already hated Art of Universe, but since I’m a fan of Thurati Blue and knew it shares that DNA with Blue Talisman, I hesitated. At first, I liked it because it didn’t seem like AoU, but then those loud citrus notes came out and didn’t convince me. It’s fresh for daytime, but I don’t like it; I recommend testing it before buying.

Just arrived and tried it; smells great and very summery. It lasted about 4-5 hours, which is decent for something fresh, but the issue is it has zero projection—you can barely smell it unless you press your nose against it. I’ll let it settle, but if it doesn’t improve, it’s leaving my collection. In my opinion, it’s not worth the hype.
esme.correa
It’s good, but it doesn’t quite convince me. I bought Art of Universe, Thurathi Electric, and Odissey Limoni. If you’re looking for the strong DNA of Ex Nihilo, Art of Universe is the most potent; if you want a fresher, more citrusy opening, I’d go with Odissey Limoni. Thurathi Electric falls in the middle, neither one nor the other.
peperinafragancia
I tested it on blotter at the perfumery, and it smells just like Blue Seduction by AB and Zara Vibrant Leather: a synthetic sweet pineapple aroma that’s overwhelming. Maybe it would work better on someone else’s skin, but I didn’t like it. I recommend testing it before buying just because of the hype.
sicarx-x
I couldn’t believe it, but it smells a lot like Antonio Banderas’s. There are an incredible number of clones out there. Although AB’s version is more masculine, this one from Afnan seems a bit more feminine to me, so much that my wife asked for it as a gift and I had to agree.
IvanPerfumista
So rich! It’s the citrusy, less cloying version of Blue Talisman with a more masculine twist. The fresh, light scents are back (just like in the 90s), and this is definitely one of the best. Projection: 8, Longevity: 10, Scent: 10, Value: 10, Gender: unisex masculine

Honestly, Turathi Electric surprised me. I bought it blindly. It’s a fresh perfume with citrus notes like tangerine and bergamot, excellent longevity, smells clean, masculine, elegant, and easy to wear. I’ve been getting compliments so far; it’s one of my TOP 5.

Turathi Electric surprised me; I bought it blind. It’s a fresh fragrance with citrus notes like mandarin and bergamot, excellent longevity, smells clean, masculine, elegant, and easy to wear. I’ve been getting compliments up until now; it’s one of my top 5.

I can’t believe it, but it smells exactly like Antonio Banderas’s. There are so many dupes out there. The original is more masculine, but this Afnan version seems more feminine; my wife asked for it as a gift, and I had to give in.

It reminds me of Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas; it doesn’t smell bad, quite the opposite. Yes, like the AB clones, the longevity behaves like an EDT. In Chile, you can get it for $43, totally driven by the hype.
Mcontreras
I like the citrus and fruity aroma; it’s ideal for hot days. For me, it doesn’t last long and the projection is weak. I love the scent, but it just won’t stick; citrus perfumes simply don’t last on my skin.

It’s similar to Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas and smells nice. Yes, like AB’s, the longevity is typical EDT. In Chile, you can get it for $43, totally driven by the hype.
Chabizzo
I love it. Smells like sweet, citrusy pear with an electric touch. Several friends have smelled it and didn’t like it, so it’s not a blind buy, but it’s a good perfume.
Carlosjr0
Smells good, but it’s very subtle. The projection is almost non-existent and it lasts only about 5 to 6 hours.
Angfisio
Smells great, but the scent doesn’t last at all; I tested it and it probably lasted only about 3 hours.
Sairenbo
Art of Universe by Lattafa is a thousand times better. This one isn’t worth it.
Sangobein
What a pity… it smells so good and lasts so little (at least on me).
