Perfect for extreme heat days. Keeps you fresh and light with that green scent of freshly cut stems mixed with citrus; I love it! Lasts all day on skin and clothes. Has a subtle talc note, it’s a total summer winner. A must if you like citrus and green fragrances.
Super fresh and delicious! Great on very hot days. Smells like fresh herbs, wet stems, and white flowers with a hint of lemon. As it dries, it gets a milky touch: like milk from white flowers with lemon and the green of bamboo. Signed by Alberto Morillas, so quality is guaranteed. The longevity is brutal and the price is ridiculous for what it offers. I’ll buy it again and recommend it wholeheartedly.
When I was in college, a classmate used this and I loved it. I bought it years ago and enjoyed it, but when I got pregnant and started wearing it again, it started smelling artificial and really annoying. I stopped using it because I just don’t know how I feel about it now. I do recognize that it’s different from all the other fresh perfumes out there.
So delicious! It’s my favorite of the day. It doesn’t resemble others because it’s fresh yet very elegant. It lasts forever on the skin, and anyone who smells it compliments you. It has the best of green and herbal notes, all in perfect balance, with just the right amount of sweetness—feminine and captivating.
Green, green. If you like L’eau d’Issey, Truth won’t disappoint. You can tell Jacques Cavallier’s hand at first glance. Fresh with a very subtle sweet dry-down… masterfully combined. I get why many define it as mystical. I refuse to spend what Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca by Guerlain costs, which I also love, due to its terrible performance. Truth has nothing to envy. I’m not saying they’re identical, but they’re in that ballpark. Much more affordable with better longevity. Some use it for layering to add ‘green.’ Anyway. It could be unisex, but I think men might find it a bit light. The Truth Men version is also very interesting. Needless to say, gourmands, fruit-forward, and powerful oriental lovers should abstain. This is a different story. A very good one, by the way.

So beautiful! Opens with freshly cut grass or stems with a hint of lemon zest, then bamboo comes through, and as it dries down it gets slightly sweet. Moderate sillage and I’m still testing the longevity. But I absolutely love it! Works for daily wear or formal events in the heat. Update: excellent longevity, 7 hours on skin 🙂
I love it, I picked it up by chance and I was amazed. It’s nostalgic in a good way, reminding me of the scents adults wore when I was little. It’s elegant yet simple, and I like it because it’s different from everything else. I recommend it to anyone looking for something very subtle. And the price is incredible; here in Chile, 100ml costs around $33.
I had it but gave it away. It’s different, smells like bamboo with green and fresh notes, but it had a specific note I just couldn’t stand. I recommend smelling it before buying.
In my opinion, Calvin Klein perfumes get along easily with many designer scents, and even more expensive ones; they have an identity and aren’t the typical cloying ones from big brands. I love them so much, especially Truth, which I adore. I love that blend of flowers and wood, but I disagree that it’s fresh; on the contrary, I have to apply very little because otherwise it overwhelms me. Plus, the longevity on me easily exceeds 8 hours.
What can you say about this masterpiece? I must be on my 5th or 6th bottle. I’m happy because it was discontinued in my country (ARG) and I just managed to get it again. It has a mystical touch, feminine without falling into typical floral territory; I feel it’s super original. I’m not sure if it became mass-market in the 2000s, I think at least in my country it didn’t. It has that bamboo touch, the white clover that gives it that sweet grassy green vibe, the citrus notes blend perfectly creating harmony with the woods and amber. I’d buy it a thousand times over: 10/10. On my skin it lasts between 6 and 8 hours projecting well (which doesn’t usually happen with many perfumes), but CK in general works very well with my skin.
It disappointed me; it doesn’t last on my skin and the vanilla is barely noticeable. I won’t be buying it again.
I only have a little left—I bought the sample and the bottle is already empty. I’m waiting for spring to wear it; it lasts forever, I even tested it for sleeping. It smells sparkling, cheerful, positive, and clean, giving you energy. The base is sophisticated for its time, a head start that leaves newer scents in its wake. It shares notes with Chanel’s Chance, they smell the same, but I ruled out Chance because I already have Truth. It suits any age; wear it at night only in summer or spring. Sometimes I take it out and do a puff… waiting for the right moment. At first, it’s feminine, after an hour or so neutral, and by 12 hours, unisex. Discover it!
Delicious fragrance; I only receive compliments and no complaints. It stands out among all the candy, praline coffee, chocolates, and bubblegum scents out there now. I love it; it’s simple but has everything. Try it.

The lime, bamboo, musk, and vanilla have always been the notes that shine on my skin. I’ve worn it for 19 years, gone through several bottles, and it’s one of the most beautiful women’s perfumes from Calvin Klein. It develops from fresh to warm, projecting floral, citrus, and fruity notes. It lasts forever, dries powdery and very sensual. It’s exquisitely delicious and works for any season or time of day; simply unique.
From the start, TRUTH by CALVIN KLEIN unleashes a femininity without holding back. The flowers take charge and Violetta Valéry sings her aria from La Traviata, surrounded by alabaster jars flooding the theater’s courtyard. It’s so intensely floral and musky that it drowns out everything else. I can’t even smell the citrus from the description, nor the vetiver, blackberry, patchouli, or vanilla. It’s all intensely floral, to the point of exhaustion. But these are musky flowers, with a pungent, incisive white musk that strips away all naturalness and delicacy. I admit TRUTH by CALVIN KLEIN doesn’t appeal to me due to its excessive artificiality and penetrating musk. However, it’s almost essential for floral fragrance addicts who love bright, extroverted scents. Last year I started testing Calvin Klein’s iconic scents; although I hoped I’d like them, they aren’t for me. But I must say Truth is perhaps the one that impressed me the most (Eternity is still to come). It’s incredibly herbal, not cheerful, but cold and wet where bamboo, vetiver, and sandalwood (very overused in CK’s 90s, wasn’t it?) make their presence felt. I barely smell the floral notes, maybe the lily of the valley peeks out now and then. It’s neither feminine nor youthful; I don’t know how Truth Men will smell, but the women’s version is totally unisex. As I read before, it also seems zen to me; it smells like a spa, an Asian treatment spa. It evokes calm, order, the soothing sound of water. Maybe I’m influenced by a Truth ad on YouTube featuring a woman in nature, but it reflects the fragrance’s spirit well. Even though I didn’t like it, I recognize it’s good. Great longevity, trail, and a very distinctive aroma. CK’s swan song to the 90s.

I was gifted a sample of this amazing perfume; it reminds me of my school days. I loved it and only used a few drops. In my perfume beginnings, it was my treasure; I thought it was discontinued because I couldn’t find it in local drugstores. This year I found it again. Now I’m a gourmet perfume lover, but I bought it for the beautiful memories of my adolescence. It didn’t disappoint; it’s exactly as I remembered: jasmine opening, lemon peel, lime, citrus—absolutely delicious. As it dries down, it follows with jasmine, citrus, bamboo, fresh, and rich. In cold or warm weather, it’s a simple but pleasant aroma. Long-lasting, simple, and economical; from my humble perspective, highly recommended for any age.
It’s true it smells like Salvatore Ferragamo Femme since they’re from the same house. It’s been around for years, but I didn’t know about it. It’s not as overpowering as the Ferragamo one, and I like it. I rarely wear herbal perfumes, and this is a full-on herbal scent. As soon as I put it on, I think of bamboo, though I’m not sure what that actually smells like, but that image comes to mind; citrus notes also appear. A discovery thanks to your reviews. It feels original and elegant. Incredible price; the only downside is its excessive subtlety—it’s very skin-scented and doesn’t last long.

I bought it recently and was greatly disappointed. It reminded me of Lancôme, very strong. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t work for me, so I gave it as a gift.
Truth is a clean, refreshing, and relaxing perfume, beautiful and versatile. I remember that at first, the lemon rind scent dominated, accompanied by green notes and a wonderful vetiver. Then I sensed a bit of raspberry, with potent sandalwood and a very soft, ethereal lily. Truth gave me that feeling of refreshing myself with drops of rain; being so refreshing, it still had its touch of originality, its vetiver and sandalwood, and instead of feeling the lemon juice, what you appreciated was the peel. I really enjoyed wearing Truth. I don’t know what happened to it; I haven’t seen it again, but if you find this little gem, don’t let it go, give it a chance, and enjoy it. In my opinion, it’s a unisex fragrance.
In my opinion, it’s a pleasant citrus-woody-dry-herbal blend and totally unisex. The citrus I perceive isn’t the fruit juice but the rind essence, meaning a slightly bitter citrus aroma. I have sandalwood and patchouli oils, so I can also detect those components mixed in; I can’t pinpoint any specific floral notes, as the overall aroma feels herbal to me. It has a weak sillage and medium longevity; it’s a scent that feels neat.
I love this perfume and can’t find it in Argentina. Years ago, I bought five small tubes of different oils that came with the perfume and were used to aromatize it. Amazing!
I love it. I used to wear it as a teenager, and now it’s no longer available where I live. What a pity.
It just arrived via mail, and I’m writing this review with my nose glued to my wrist. I can tell you that right after application, it smells like a concentrated infusion of lemon verbena (I attribute this to the vetiver) and sweet lime; this lasts about 2 minutes. After this time, the predominant scent is sandalwood, which reminds me of cathedrals to a certain extent. At 15 minutes, VERY but VERY subtly in the background, I perceive a lily accord, and personally, that makes it beautiful. The rest of the floral notes disappear (at least on my skin), so don’t expect an intense floral scent. PROS: It’s a very nice, clean scent, nothing cloying. It’s a bit “expensive,” around 60 euros (+-$1200 MXN pesos), but it’s worth it. CONS: It’s discontinued in Mexico; you can only get it imported. I got it through Linio with the risk of receiving a clone :S RECOMMENDED FOR: lovers of “nude” scents and unconventional aromas. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR: gourmands and lovers of sweet-floral scents.
