I love it. I tested it several times in the perfumery, and it will be my next purchase. It smells like the original but fresher, with softened floral notes (in the original, they are more intense). It leaves a trail and a scent on skin and clothes that lasts hours, with that soapy and clean afterglow that is delicious.
With the dollar rising in Argentina, I went with my daughter (a perfumer like me) to the store with a budget of max $30. She had already tried the traditional Tommy Girl (she liked it, I found it acceptable). This flanker was cheaper, so we tested it. Reading reviews full of praise, I thought I lacked a sense of smell or had parosmia, but my daughter felt the same. On skin, it was annoying: very green and bitter. Does Mahonia smell like that? Real magnolia doesn’t resemble it. It evolves little, is linear; the bitterness dilutes slowly but is very long-lasting, still noticeable on the skin at 5 hours. I now understand why 100 ml costs only $23: it’s horrible and unsellable. We left with the classic The Girl; she was happy (though she obviously would have preferred another fragrance, given the cost was four times higher, like Dolce&Gabbana’s Light Blue). She’ll wear it for her 17th birthday.
The negative reviews are just personal perception; the reality is the notes. I perceive quite a bit of that Tommy Girl-like scent, but it’s less sweet and floral, much more refreshing. It’s ideal for anyone wanting something sweet for summer: very soft, slightly sweet, and fresh.
This smells less intense than the original Tommy, which is very heavy and made me dizzy. I swear it has almond: that almond sweetness makes you fall in love. I even ate a piece of cake and thought it was food, but it smelled like perfume. Then comes a light cedar note that reminds me of cedar tea, not so much mint. At first, it literally smells like Paris H.’s CanCan; it’s very similar, almost a dupe. Over time, it becomes lighter, projects well, but fades; it needs reapplication. In the end, it also reminded me of Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada. Mixed together, Tommy Now seems like a fusion of the two. Very fresh, youthful, and summery, like going on a boat in the sea.
I like that it’s lighter than the original Tommy, which used to make me dizzy. It has a sweet almond touch that’s intoxicating; I once ate a cake and thought it was dessert, but it was the perfume. Then it smells like cedar, sort of like cedar tea, not mint. At first, it smells just like Paris’s CanCan, almost a dupe. Over time, it gets lighter, projects well, but fades fast, so you need to reapply. In the end, it also smells like Ágatha Ruiz’s Flor, and mixing it all together, the Tommy feels like that crazy blend. I liked it—it’s fresh, youthful, and summery, like a little bottle in the sea.
Update: Tommy is strong yet soft and very fresh. Sometimes it feels a bit much, but it really attracts attention. I spray 5 times and don’t get dizzy; I could even spray more and be happy. It’s perfect for special occasions and outperforms other green citrus fragrances. Compared to Donna Karan Be Delicious (which stays in cucumber), Tommy has more character. The bottle smells like mint, the sea, and boats. I’ll keep it for a long time.
Tommy Girl Now is citrusy and rich on my skin. It lasts about 4 hours and has an incredible trail. I love it!
I tried it on a promotion, and even though I’m not usually into florals, I liked it for its freshness. You can really smell the bergamot, mint, and flowers blended perfectly, giving you that just-shower vibe. It’s super versatile for every day. Once it dries down, it leaves a soft sweetness that’s the best part and creates a real addiction.
I love fresh perfumes, and this is the perfect one for daytime and hot weather. While it’s not my usual favorite, it’s ideal for summer: it smells clean and fresh. I’d buy it again without hesitation; for the price, it’s absolutely worth it.
Smells like you just put on white at the beach and feel radiant. Citrus, solar, and marine notes that give a real energy boost. A classic feminine scent—fresh and dynamic.
This fragrance makes you feel radiant, young, and dressed in white by the seaside. Fresh, citrusy, solar, and marine notes. A classic that represents all the feminine side in a dynamic and energetic way.
It has a vibe of the classic Tommy Girl, but the trail is infinitely smaller. I like this one more because it’s not as heavy; the noticeable mint gives it a cheerful and herbal aroma. I liked it quite a bit, very much in the style of Davidoff’s Cool Water and L’eau by Kenzo, almost masculine. I don’t know if it’s worth it for performance, but I bought it on sale and have no regrets. Refreshing, summery, and marine scent, very Tommy.
It has an air of the classic Tommy Girl, but the sillage is infinitely smaller. I like this one more because it’s not as heavy, and the noticeable mint gives it a happier, herbal aroma. I liked it quite a bit, very much in the style of Davidoff’s Cool Water and Kenzo’s L’eau, almost masculine, though regarding performance, I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I bought it on sale so I’m not regretting it. Rich, refreshing, summery, and marine scent, very Tommy.
I bought this fragrance and the Tommy Now Boy for my wife, and neither of them lasts at all. No sillage, I spray a lot, and it doesn’t last even until I can smell it on myself. I don’t know if it was a bad batch, but I was very disappointed.
I bought the Tommy Now Boy for myself and my wife, and neither of us could keep it on. No sillage, very little projection, and it disappears quickly—I couldn’t even smell it on myself. I’m not sure if it was a bad batch, but I was disappointed.
Very summery and refreshing, not too sweet. I feel it’s a bit unisex. It doesn’t have much sillage and isn’t heavy, perfect for hot climates without feeling overwhelming.
Very summery fragrance, refreshing, and not too sweet. I feel it’s a bit unisex. It doesn’t have great sillage and isn’t heavy, so I find it ideal for hot climates without being overwhelming.
I came for the older sibling, Tommy Girl, which I consider a lovely and timeless scent, ideal when I don’t know what to wear and makes me feel clean. With that good experience, I decided to buy the ‘Now’ version. However, this flanker has a very notable citrus opening (bergamot and tangerine). What develops most on my skin is the citrus, and I barely feel the flashes of magnolia. I stick with the classic because it evolves from citrus accords into a clean, luminous floral.
I love it because it brings back memories of the classic Tommy Hilfiger, my first perfume in my teens, with a nostalgic meaning. Even though time has passed, it’s still perfect for me as an adult. Also, its sillage and longevity are excellent, which makes it even more special; it’s a bit sweeter than the original but remains an excellent perfume.
Mixed feelings. On one hand, I appreciate that it keeps the seal of the classic, even though the new version is much more citrusy, minimalist, and keeps the florals in the background. On the other hand, although it lasts about 4-5 hours, the sillage is very soft: a citrus explosion for a few minutes and then it drops significantly. After 15 minutes, you only notice it if you’re very close. The difference with the older sibling is astronomical. With the classic, my colleagues would ask if I was wearing Tommy; with this, no one notices unless they’re right next to me. I like the note construction, ideal for hot days. I think it lasts quite a bit for a citrus scent and the classic DNA is present. The downside is the weak sillage. If you’re looking for something understated and for personal enjoyment, it’s great because it’s fresh and comforting.
It’s a well-rounded scent. Perfect for daily wear, as a signature, at the office, university, dates, walks, any age, and absolutely everything. It shines in spring and summer, but smells great whenever I feel like it. It’s elegant, fresh, and never clashes. I love the classic Tommy Girl, but this one has something that drives me crazy—it’s my favorite. It’s floral-citrusy and makes you feel super polished. A sure hit as a gift; impossible not to like it. I’m sure I’ll finish this bottle by summer. Both are unbeatable all-rounders. Tommy Girl Now is the scent of a summer vacation in Europe.
Fresh, balanced, and feminine, perfect for everyday wear, hot weather, or a sporty vibe. 🌿✨ Ideal for straight out of the shower or when you want to feel clean. I liked this more than the original (that one felt too heavy to me). Tried it again later and it was exactly what I needed. As it dries down, the mint and bergamota stand out—a delicious freshness with the magnolia, leaving a floral and refreshing scent. Pleasant, timeless, and great value. 🌸💫 Lasts 6-7 hours on skin and clothes, even into the next day.
It’s identical to the original Tommy Girl: fresh, citrusy, and woody. People say it has fewer notes, but to me it smells exactly the same, just with a new name, and maybe it doesn’t last as long.
