Pretty good. The opening is meh, quite generic, but the dry down is a delight: clean woods and in the base, that note of oud. Don’t expect a strong oud; you have to sniff closely to find it. I love it, and the longevity is a gem: more than 12 hours on skin, though obviously not projecting the whole time, but it’s a good fragrance, simple and rich.
Great perfume if you can find it on sale (which is practically always). I doubt there’s anyone who won’t like it; it lasts and projects well. On sale, you probably can’t find anything better in 100ml; at regular price, it’s expensive for what it offers. It’s a scent that reminds you of others, probably without you realizing it. It pleases everyone, which is important, but it doesn’t surprise anyone, especially not collectors since it’s not revolutionary. Totally recommended purchase if the price is right.
Super good fragrance; it delivers on its promises with great sillage and longevity. Reminded me a lot of Hugo Boss Bottled, but that doesn’t take anything away from it. Well done, Tommy Hilfiger; I’m not a fan of their fragrances, but I’m happy with this purchase. It’s a scent that people like and that lasts, which is what matters. Plus, I got it on sale, even better.
In my experience, you have to break it down to understand it: it’s a completely different aroma from the usual Tommy. The name fits; it hits you. I bought it blind due to the initial hype. At first glance, it didn’t blow my mind, but wearing it, I won over by the accords, especially the Akigalawood. It’s youthful, informal, and ideal for a college student. The bottle is beautiful, but be careful; it doesn’t stand alone; the cap pops off easily, and the spray is one of the worst—it squirts and uses up the perfume quickly. Poor longevity, barely four hours on skin and very close to the skin. Projection lasts about an hour. The price in Argentina is insane, almost $100; there are better options like Dior Homme. Conclusion: it’s Tommy’s first serious fragrance, trying to make a leap, but it has a lot to improve. Olfactorily, it’s gorgeous; I got compliments during that single hour of projection. If you’re a collector, get it. If you’re looking for something everyone will like, I don’t recommend it due to its performance and high cost. Cheers.
I’m 28 and own 30 fragrances. Tommy Impact is in my top 3. Beautiful citrus opening blending into woods, with the Akigalawood standing out. I prefer this original over its versions. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin with good projection for 2-4 hours. Buy it blind; men and women both like it, it’s easy to wear, and I’ve gotten tons of compliments.
I picked it up for the brand nostalgia, even though Tommy isn’t a powerhouse in perfumery, so I gave it a shot. Tommy Impact is a contrast: it’s not bad, but it’s not a phenomenon. It does the job but lacks what would make it unique; very linear. It’s a deja vu you can’t quite place. Very youthful; it should be top-tier for a teenager, but a mature man has better options. Tommy Impact Intense has what this one lacks, we’ll see. Cheers.
Bought it for the merca note… and it didn’t hit as I expected.
Starts with citrus, then something spicy—ginger or pepper—and an oregano scent. It doesn’t disgust me, but it’s not my style.
Luckily I got a decant and didn’t like it at all. It’s original, lacks a hook, and honestly, it’s just meh.
Wow, Fragrantica’s Spanish translation is failing again. The note is coca leaf, not cocaine 🤦♀️
Excellent fragrance. Fresh, slightly herbal, distinguished, and different from typical commercial scents… I’d dare say it could easily pass as a niche perfume in terms of quality and aroma. Performance is more than excellent—12 hours on skin without issues, projecting 5 hours at a good distance. I wouldn’t buy it blindly; I recommend testing it on skin first. If you like it (which is most likely), you’ll get a perfume that completely justifies the price. Suitable for any season, especially casual outings and even formal events.
Well, what can I say… 1. I think it’s an elegant SPORT fragrance for any season… that lavender note gives you presence wherever you are, and if you’re well-groomed, it’s a 10… 2. Performance on my skin is excellent; it lasts over 10 hours and projects for 5 of those… 3. It has a fairly sweet opening that isn’t cloying, which stays with you all day alongside the lavender note, which, though not listed, is perceptible. To summarize, I’ve worn it in all climates… it’s an excellent travel companion… being an elegant SPORT, it always leaves you looking sharp. I recommend it for men in their 30s; for those over 35, there are fragrances with more personality, but for me, it’s a great success for the house. Greetings, hope this helps.
I love it! That citrus opening and the woody touch are delicious. It lasts 8 to 10 hours on my skin and projects well for the first 3 hours. Highly recommended.
My teenage son wears it. It’s a fragrance with plenty of presence yet still feels fresh. I particularly like it for night outs; it has a strong trail.
Starts fresh and citrusy; the woods make the dry-down smooth and even. The amber sweetness at the end is wonderful. Lasts easily 8 hours on skin and has great projection initially. Rating: 6.
Godiana.
I bought it because I tried it at a mall and liked the scent and longevity. I wear it regularly, and it’s one of the perfumes that gets me the most compliments. It’s like a Boss Bottled, but instead of red apple, it’s orange with lots of woods. It lasts about 10 hours with six sprays. It’s not a new or challenging scent, but it’s very addictive and gets me compliments. I’m going to do a review on my YouTube channel with my experience.
It smells good, but I don’t think it stands out much.
I picked this up at Costco today for 1,099 pesos, a fair price. I was torn between Spark and this, but I went with the safe bet since I don’t know the scent of Spark. To my nose, it smells a lot like the first-gen Boss Bottled, Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, with a twist of YSL Libre. I see it as unisex, ideal for any season and occasion, preferably casual. I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good with a woody aroma.
Good, I’ve been wearing this for two months and it was a total hit. It smells like freshly cut wood with resin right out of the bottle, then citrus notes emerge, but the woods dominate with a soft, sweet dry-down. I’ve gotten more compliments at the office, and my girlfriend absolutely loves it. It lasts about 8 hours on skin; three sprays are enough to refresh it mid-day. It has great projection, perfect for the office, semi-formal dates, or family dinners. It works great in spring and summer, even into fall. It’s fresh and pleasant, so it won’t bother anyone. The only downside is the spray shoots out too directly and the cap comes off easily, but those are minor details. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorites and it’s not expensive; I’m already thinking of trying the Intense version.
I’ve had this fragrance for a month and bought it blind. The first few times I used it in full heat, I felt it was heavy to the point of giving me a headache. I don’t know if it was the weather or the stronger initial sprays. I was about to return it but kept using it to give it another chance. Currently, I use it daily and the experience is totally different. The fragrance is simple and basically smells like woods. The longevity is amazing; it lasts a full workday. When I got home after 8 hours, my wife’s first comment was that I still smell. I’ve received a few compliments and I feel very comfortable with this scent.
The similarity to Boss Bottled (at least the Intense I have) is brutal, at least for the first hour. After that on my skin, the perfume ‘fell apart’ and turned into a pure synthetic and fixative smell, which I imagine must be those wood and amber-musk notes not of the best quality. At least Boss Bottled Intense maintains that opening accord that seems very effective, although sometimes I find it a bit dated. I’ll keep trying to finish the Boss Bottled bottle because this type of aroma is what I liked first, but this Tommy Impact doesn’t even make me want to finish the sample.
SIMPLE, RELIABLE, AND GREAT PERFORMANCE. Its scent isn’t novel; it can remind you of many fragrances but doesn’t specifically recall one, so it has its degree of ‘originality’ without being a different smell. It’s simple (Citrus, ‘Dark’ Woods, and Musk), I perceive modernity; it doesn’t evoke something old, quite the opposite, it feels current and youthful, consequently interesting. I think it’s more SUITABLE for heat and daytime; while it can work as a 4×4 and signature scent, it lacks sensuality for a night date, I don’t consider it elegant though it is casual or semi-formal; it’s excellent for the gym and any outing with friends. I received compliments like ‘you smell so good’ from both ladies and gentlemen, it was noticeable and generally liked, with no negative comments and great personal enjoyment. PERFORMANCE excellent, lasted 7-8 hours, projecting strongly for the first hour; after 15 sprays I reduced it to 8 because it was potent; I also noticed a denser trail than usual for an EDT. PRICE was ‘affordable’ 3 years ago, outside department stores it didn’t exceed $1,000 MXN, it could easily be a BBB perfume, surpassing more expensive fragrances, so don’t hesitate to try before you buy. Compliments 9, Longevity 10, Projection 10, Sillage 9, Price 10, TOTAL 9.6.
Very rich fragrance. It won’t blow your wig off at first, but if you can get it at a good price, it’s a great buy. It has similarities to Boss Bottled, and I get a hint of Ferragamo Intense Leather in the dry down. The 100ml version comes with a decant in the cap, a great idea by the brand.
It has a… rare and particular scent. Very woody, but it smells a bit like hair gel or something synthetic; I can’t quite describe it, it just smells weird. Just a heads-up, it’s not that it smells bad. Citrus and woody from start to finish, fresh and ambered. It’s very versatile, but its best moment is in mild weather, especially rainy days; I feel it fits perfectly with the smell of wet earth. It suits all ages. Note: if you’re looking for a blue scent like Sauvage or Y, this has nothing of that; it’s not floral or spicy, less fruity, and leans more towards Bleu de Chanel. Good longevity, minimum 7 to maximum 10 hours if you spray a lot, projecting about 3 feet. A great option for a signature scent; although it seems like many fragrances due to its simplicity, that rare and rich smell makes it distinctive, not impressive, just reliable. Pyramid: 50% Woods, 30% Citrus, 20% Amber. Extreme heat 6/10, Heat 8/10, Cold 8/10, Extreme Cold 5/10, Mild 10/10, School/Office 9/10, Dates 7.5/10, Special Occasions 7/10, Daily 10/10. If you’re young, looking for something rich, woody, and masculine for daily wear that works anywhere, this is a great choice 💗.
Serious contender for my signature scent. Fresh citrus opening (yes, it can remind you of Boss Bottled) followed by an exceptional dry-down that’s woody and masculine. Excellent performance. They sell it under another name, hype it up until it sells out, and we’re just sheep following the herd.
Unbearable. It’s a cloying amber mess with crushed herbaceous notes that are suffocatingly crude and spicy. A blend of green amber, spicy balsamic, and buds that smell like hemp. Like many perfumes today, it smells cheap; I’m not saying ten-euro scents can’t be amazing, but this has the texture of modern casino or hotel air fresheners. I haven’t smelled anything this unpleasant in designer fragments in a long time—a spray that shouldn’t have been bottled. The top notes are coca leaf and amber, while the Akigalawood molecule gives it that artificial oily wood undertone that becomes even more noticeable as it dries.
I was pleasantly surprised. It’s truly masculine, very woody, and rich. Versatile and great value for the price. At first, it didn’t last long, but after letting it settle, it lasts 8-9 hours with about 3 hours of projection.
Great scent! It lasts surprisingly long with a perfect projection—nothing too overpowering. It’s not as woody as people say; instead, it’s fruity with red apple and a hint of white woods. Honestly, it smells a lot like Ferrari Black but with much better performance.
I smell a bit of Tommy Hilfiger Impact like a mix between Dior Sauvage and Montblanc Starwalker. Some love it, but the typical bitter touch from Sauvage just gives me the creeps. It smells like fine woods with that persistent bitter note on my skin. Perfect for daily wear—simple and casual. My rating: 6/10.
Absolutely gorgeous perfume, undoubtedly my favorite among my collection of 60 fragrances. I’ve never found a fresh perfume that lasts as long as this one; it smells rich and lasts well for a fresh scent. It’s a scent I have to keep smelling because I love it so much; girls love it too. If it’s similar to its brother, the Intense, then in my personal opinion, this one is much better—fresher.
I don’t understand what the coca leaf smells like, but the opening is somewhat citrusy and ambered. A saleswoman gave me many 1.5mL samples (4 or 5 lol), and I took one of my empty 5mL decants and filled it; the liquid is blue. Now that I’ve been using it a bit more, I can say it’s a good perfume, versatile. I have preferences for perfumes of this type but less woody and more aquatic and marine; this one is richly woody. From here, I’ll add based on other comments: I couldn’t smell that marijuana sensation people mentioned; honestly, if it were an undeclared note, it’s not even pronounced at all, nothing. It’s more reminiscent of Bad Boy Le Parfum. It reminds me of Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver, though this one shifts to the woody side quickly. I can only recommend it; easy to like, not very distinctive, but it’s not a bad perfume. I prefer its Parfum version for the triad: vanilla/oud/leather, but that’s more because it’s my thing; in reality, they are two completely different perfumes. 9.3/10.
It smells like the traditional Hugo Boss Bottled, nothing more. I don’t get the hype, it’s a good fragrance but literally just that.
One of my favorites! I don’t get why so many people don’t like it; to me, it’s one of the best fragrances I’ve ever tried. It’s a scent that feels both youthful and mature: it opens with citrus and woody notes that, as they dry down, become deeper and spicier. It leaves a pleasant trail and projects well. I wear it daily on fresh, sunny days, but it also works great on an autumn afternoon or even at a night event. A 10/10 in my collection.
In my opinion, it’s not for me—I’m not saying it’s bad, just that I don’t like it. At first, it has a very fresh and citrusy opening that’s quite pleasant; I was fascinated by that initial blast, but as it dries down, it changes into a fairly heavy scent. It smells too much like incense, like a ‘santería’ or even a church, and for that part, I didn’t like it. I understand that based on the notes it’s very woody, but I wouldn’t recommend it because of that heavy aroma.
I tried it and decided to buy it. It reminds me of my favorite Bois Imperial, but this one is even more casual and versatile for any occasion. It’s top-tier, and I absolutely love it.
Worth it: it’s a fruity-woody perfume with great longevity and average projection. If I were to describe it, it’s like a cocktail of oranges inside a cabin, very masculine.
This perfume holds the record for compliments received in the shortest time. It’s dense, so not for extreme heat. The opening is peculiar: androgynous, resinous, and heavy, with the citrus arriving later. It’s not typical where the fresh notes explode first; here, the wood hits you in the very first second, and the citrus peeks out afterward. A curious thing is that it gives off a vibe of clean skin or sweat, nothing unpleasant. That strange nuance really grabs attention. It’s not your typical youthful perfume of today; it has personality, character, and a distinct style.
I’ve used this quite a bit, so here’s the deal: it’s a super clean, fresh, and familiar citrus-woody scent. Simple but effective. It smells different on clothes versus skin. Being linear means no complex pyramid, but right after application, it shines with lots of vitality. It opens with white woods and that famous ‘chemical’ note, Akigalawood (derived from patchouli), giving a clean metallic vibe like freshly washed laundry. The citrus doesn’t explode at first; it resonates in the dry down. To me, it smells like orange and a hint of lime, with a very subtle herbal nuance, maybe a touch of coca. The base is amber to add body without heaviness and a musk that ties everything together. Compared to Bois Imperial by Quentin, this captures about 45% of that essence, but here you get musk and amber where the other has citrus. It’s like a solid, budget-friendly version. Perfect for spring, summer, and fall, only during the day, because in cold weather or at night, it loses its punch. Smells unisex-masculine and works for any casual situation. Longevity: 4-6 hours, strong projection for the first two hours, though it reappears if you sweat. Price: 8.5/10, Versatility: 6.5/10, Sillage: 6.5/10, Scent: 7/10. A great scent for everyday wear.
If you’re looking for something cheap and different from what everyone else is using, Tommy Impact is the way to go. Despite what they say, it smells like red apple mixed with wood and amber, all tied together with a deep aquatic touch.
