  • Well, it arrived today as an early birthday gift, and I only opened it to smell it, which immediately caught my husband’s attention 🤭🤭🤭. That said, I must say I absolutely love it. It’s that clean scent I’ve been looking for—not too citrusy or floral, with a musky base. For me, it’s very elegant and versatile. It reminds me of baby cologne but with personality. I give it a 10 from my side. It’s clearly nothing like Fleurs d’oranger. I love both, but each serves a different purpose. I see this one as more for daytime, but given the heat and humidity in my area, I’ll wear it some summer nights just to extend that post-shower freshness. It didn’t feel as masculine as other perfumes in this category and it reminded me of summer nights when I was little, hanging out on the street with my grandma enjoying the cool breeze.

Well, I ordered it and it arrived yesterday. What a shame, because it doesn’t last even 15 minutes on me. It’s heartbreaking and feels like a scam; it just disappears instantly. It barely smells on my skin at all. I sprayed it on my neck and hesitated, then tested it just on my wrist to check, and indeed, nothing! I ordered it from FragranceNet and it came as a refill-style bottle… I’m not sure if that’s the issue, honestly, I don’t have anything to compare it to. But it’s terrible, not even 15 minutes. 😏

  • Hey Marisol, it doesn’t really suit me either, but honestly, most perfumes don’t last on me for long. I use it right after my shower, mist it on, and it’s my go-to scent for sleeping. It’s subtle, but it works great for me. Hugs!

In elementary school, we had a white courtyard with a lemon tree well—the Lemon Courtyard. Before afternoon, the kids would play there, and that’s when I first smelled orange blossom. This perfume transports me back to that Extremaduran courtyard: filtered light between green, fragrant leaves; warm air blending the scent of flowers with lemon zest. Even the musk brings back memories of whitewashed walls, clean and reflecting the sun of a May afternoon in the south.

  • Serge Lutens making talcum powder that smells like lemon? I can’t believe it! That’s what I thought when I tried it, because I was expecting something like Fleur d’Oranger but with lemon blossom. Verdict: a monotonous and boring fragrance. A white musk that’s worse than Teint de Neige or Eau d’Hadrien, very simple and lacking complexity. Don’t expect anything more. The day it was created, Sheldrake probably left the job to his four-year-old niece because he didn’t feel like it, was tired, or just didn’t want to think. Rating: 1.

  • Serge Lutens making talcum powder that smells like lemon? I can’t believe it! I was expecting something lovely like its companion, a lemon blossom, but this is monotonous and boring. It smells like cheap white musk, worse than Teint de Neige or Eau d’Hadrien, very simple and without complexity. It seems Sheldrake left the job to his four-year-old niece because he didn’t feel like it. Rating: 1.

  • I thought it would be the sibling of Fleur d’Oranger but with lemon instead of orange blossom. It smells good in the bottle, but on the skin it turns soapy and gave me pause. The longevity, however, isn’t as bad as people say.
