Hi, as always, today is my fragrance shopping day. I took a leap of faith because I couldn’t test it, and I bought it. I have several from this house and I always buy from them. Be careful with it: it feels slightly fruity at the opening, but it’s tremendously woody. To the point that it smells like a soft oud; the vetiver and leather give that soft oud smell, nothing animalic or fecal. These are my first impressions; I’ll write more when I get deeper into it. Always try it first. Regards.
Once you spray it, it’s reminiscent of Flamenco by Ramón Monegal and Oud for Greatness. Over time, what stands out is the musk, and the leather isn’t dirty or animalic. You can feel the freshness that Imperial Valley by Gissah leaves, a fragrance that also has musk, vetiver and leather in its composition. The performance isn’t the best, but this perfume works well on me every time I wear it. I recommend Anfar 1950 Vague more, which is very similar but elevated to the nth degree.
