  Since there aren’t many reviews, I’ll share my experience with a 2ml decant. It smells great, but I won’t buy the full bottle because I’m not the target audience, though I recommend trying it since it’s interesting. The opening features realistic wood with a spicy pepper note over intense powder, reminding me of high-quality paper. Then the pepper fades and sweet vanilla rises. On the skin, it settles into myrrh, woods, vanilla, and a touch of lavender over powder. It smells powdery the whole time, but not baby-like; the myrrh and vanilla keep it unisex, perhaps with a slight masculine lean. I like the experience, but I don’t see it in my collection, even though it’s unique.

  First off, I don’t own the bottle; a friend gave me a 2ml decant, and I already know I’m not buying it. The opening is powdery with lavender, almost like chalk (think the whiteboards in my office), mixed with vanilla and resinous woods that blend beautifully with a linen scent. It’s a clean, rich fragrance, but while it’s unisex, it leans slightly feminine. It’s harmless and pleasant, just not my style.

  I love it, and I’m not the only one who picks up that powdery note; to me, it smells like licorice or anise. It’s identical to Histoires de Parfums 1725, the old Dior Eau Noire, and Amouage Sunshine Man. It’s ethereal, super unisex, and lasts 8 hours on me, but watch out: it has zero projection. It stays right on the skin without being annoying.
