Descripción
Tea Rose by Perfumer's Workshop is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1977, this composition features an olfactory pyramid crafted by a master perfumer. The top notes unfold the delicacy of peony and chamomile. The heart reveals the elegance of Bulgarian rose, Damask rose, and tea rose. Finally, the base notes land with the freshness of geranium, violet leaf aroma, and the warmth of cedar.

If you’re looking for a fresh rose smell, this is it—it smells like nothing else. I use it sparingly because it gets a bit much; sometimes I leave it in the car or room to freshen up the space. I wouldn’t repurchase.
If you like the scent of fresh roses, this is the one—it smells like nothing else. I use it sparingly because it gets a bit much; sometimes I leave it in the room or car to freshen up the space. I wouldn’t repurchase.
I tried the sample and ended up keeping half the bottle. The rose scent is so dense it feels overwhelming. I won’t be buying it again.
I closed my eyes and pressed the bottle on my wrist… my grandmother’s rose garden in southern Chile. Fragrant, velvety, powerful, and soft. It wasn’t just the flower, but the stem, the leaf, and an earthy touch from the rose bushes. Created between 1971 and 1976, it is the most realistic rose fragrance I know: velvety, soliflore, without gourmand or patchouli, but dramatic, potent rose oil, slightly vintage. Upon closer inspection, it starts with a potent tea rose and light bergamot that gives a bright citrus sparkle, recreating the dew on the leaves. Then it evolves into sweet wood, possibly rosewood, for the stem, and a touch of amber and cedar that recalls the perfumed earth after rain. Accompanied by a dusty, wet rose. It’s a classic scent and, without a doubt, the best rose scent I’ve ever felt. Great trail and huge longevity, but its downside is that it can get tiring due to its minimal evolution of notes.
I’ve had it for 7 years and can’t finish it; I use it so much it becomes a bit overwhelming. That said, it smells like pure roses and is unmistakable. People usually like it when I wear it. It sticks to my skin a lot; if I put it on in the morning, it lasts with quite a bit of intensity by night. I like it, but it’s not one of my favorites.
It’s a very special perfume. I admire those who find notes other than roses, but I only smell roses: intense, pure, and true. Here you don’t have to look for them; they are in all their splendor, offering hours of fascination. For me, it’s delicious and unique (Lush’s Ross Argan cream is close), but many people don’t like it at all. People often comment that it smells weird, so I almost never use it. What a shame because I love it, I find it unusual and very pleasant. The trail is huge and the longevity is extremely high. It’s an Eau de Toilette, now they’ve released a Parfum version; I imagine how it will be. A perfume for people with character, who don’t mind others’ opinions, and for whom perfume is a true personal pleasure.
It’s delicious, simple, and very accessible, very good for the price ($10). I use it at night after an exhausting day with the baby; I shower, spray both wrists, rub them together, and touch my neck. It’s enough to sleep perfumed and relaxed all night (if the baby allows, hehe). It simply smells like roses. My husband loves the scent that lingers in the room, on the sheets, and on me.
I was very surprised when I tried it; it’s the most natural and herbal rose scent I’ve ever felt. I only smell flowers in a very natural way, so much so that it borders on niche perfume. Using it feels like I’ve dressed in Turkish rose petals. It’s linear but beautiful. Outside, I only notice a fleeting acidic touch of bergamot, then it’s just roses flooding everything. It has an incredible trail and moderate longevity on my skin (which usually makes them fade quickly). The price is a laugh, very cheap for the beauty it has. If you love roses, don’t miss it. Ideal for spring, summer, and autumn, during the day or evening, without formal wear. Tea Rose is a rose dream.
I was blown away when I first tried it; it’s the most natural, herbal rose fragrance I’ve ever smelled—just pure, authentic flowers. It sounds crazy, but that naturalness makes it feel like a niche perfume. Wearing it feels like being draped in Turkish rose petals. It’s linear, but that doesn’t take away from its beauty (perfect for rose lovers). At first, I only caught a brief acidic bergamot note, then the rose completely took over. It has an incredible trail and medium longevity on my skin (though I usually struggle with perfumes lasting). The price is ridiculous—so cheap for how beautiful it is. If you love roses, don’t miss this; you’ll definitely like it. Ideal for spring, summer, or fall, during the day or evening, without needing formal wear. Tea Rose is a rose dream.
Too strong. It smells like rose petals kept in a book.
If you like freshly cut roses, this smells like roses. I bought it this spring for my mom who is crazy about them. Even though it’s an Eau de Toilette, it lasts longer than many current perfumes. Hours later, my mom could still smell it.
I saw a video months ago that caught my eye, and since I love roses, I decided to try it. The bottle is understated and the perfume is gorgeous. It’s the most realistic rose scent I’ve ever smelled: classic garden rose with a mossy touch, twisted stem, and thorns. It’s unforgettable, feminine, floral, with rose, rosewood, and sandalwood. Classic and romantic, I didn’t hesitate to buy the bottle.
Oh, I really don’t like it. It’s like a bunch of roses at the florist that hasn’t sold in a week. It smells like stems, leaves, petals, and water from the vase. It’s not refined or elegant, and I can’t even stand it as a room freshener. Crude purchase.
I bought this blindly looking for something cheap for daily wear; it smells like artificial roses, like the rosaries grandmothers used, but it works great for everyday use.
I was curious to read the reviews about how real the rose scent feels, that exaggerated smell. I had points on Amazon with a Gift Card and couldn’t resist; the price is very economical. The smell is indeed exaggerated, like those flowers you smell right when the stem is fresh and the roots are full of aroma. It’s like entering a flower shop or a garden with that natural, green scent, but in excess. The truth is, it’s the perfume closest to the scent of roses I’ve ever smelled; it doesn’t seem synthetic, it feels very natural but quite concentrated. On the skin, at least on mine, it keeps that herbal, green, fresh rose scent, not very sweet. After a few minutes, the intensity drops, but the rose scent doesn’t disappear, it stays with its fixation and leaves a slight sweetness. Would it be a good combination if atomized just once together with a perfume with sweeter notes? I don’t know, maybe it works and gives a curious touch. I’d use it even as an ambient freshener; I wouldn’t use it daily because being so concentrated, it would bother me. It smells classic; even it generates pleasant satisfaction when smelling it in its bottle due to the very natural feeling of the roses. Longevity is between 9 hours or more. If you’re a rose fanatic, I recommend it.
I was intrigued by the reviews about how real the rose scent is—those exaggerated notes people mention. I had points on an Amazon gift card and couldn’t resist; the price was very affordable. Yes, it smells exaggeratedly like roses, like freshly cut flowers with fresh stems and rooty, aromatic bases. It’s like walking into a nursery or garden with that natural, green scent, just in excess. It’s the closest I’ve ever come to smelling a real rose; it doesn’t seem synthetic at all, very natural but concentrated. On my skin, it keeps that herbal, green, fresh rose vibe without being too sweet. Over time, the intensity fades, but the rose remains with its staying power and a slight sweetness. Would it pair well with a sweeter perfume? I’m not sure, maybe it adds an interesting touch. I’d use it as a room freshener, not for daily wear, because it’s too concentrated and would bother me. It smells classic, and even just smelling it in the bottle gives me satisfaction. Lasts 9+ hours. If you’re a rose fan, I recommend it.
I grew up in the 80s, so my olfactory memory is from back then; perfumes were strong and rough by today’s standards. Initio Fatal smells like cheap car air freshener—sharp, penetrating, and I find it hyper-synthetic. My parents run an auto accessories business and always had essences. It reminded me of that heavy ‘rose water’ that stings your nose all the way to your brain. It makes me uncomfortable and recalls why I hated roses for years. I don’t know who has the guts to wear it for relaxation; I just held a vial to my nose and haven’t been able to shake that olfactory memory for two days.
Preface: I grew up in the 80s, so my olfactory memory of childhood is from the 80s-90s; perfumes were strong and rough for current tastes. Intro to Fatal smells like cheap car air freshener. Loud, penetrating aroma; I do feel it as hyper-synthetic. My parents have an accessory business and always had essences. It reminded me of that heavy ‘rose water’ that stung the nose until it reached the brain. It causes me discomfort and reminded me why I hated roses for many years. I don’t know who has the courage to use it to relax; I just brought a vial close to my nose and haven’t been able to remove that olfactory memory for two days.
I hesitated a lot to buy it because, although it costs two duros, I didn’t want another disappointment; lately, my blind buys have been a fiasco, and I also didn’t want to carry 125ml to force myself to spend on a collection of over 70 perfumes. I ordered a decant from Martina and here’s the story. You have to be a lover, but a very devoted lover, of roses to like it, because the reality is that it’s just that; roses. There’s no oud, no chypre base, no woodiness, no fruitiness here: it’s pure rose, which is why it’s hard for many. The truth is, it’s a hyper-realistic rose: you can smell the stems, the leaves, the dew on the flower, it has a green touch. To me, it started seeming very basic or simple until it became essential; so much so that I haven’t finished the decant and already ordered the bottle. I wouldn’t say it smells vintage, but rather clean, yet for many people, smelling only of rose is not elegant or sophisticated; I think everything has its moment. It’s not overpowering nor does it smell like insecticide as some reviews say, but I still don’t recommend buying blind. I declare myself to its team of lovers. Edit: It’s the cheapest in my collection and so far the one that has brought me the most compliments.
I hesitated a lot before buying it because, even though it’s only two euros, I didn’t want another disappointment—my blind buys lately have been a total fiasco, and I didn’t want to be forced to use up 125ml in my collection of over 70 perfumes. It’s not overpowering, and it doesn’t smell like insecticide as some reviews claim, but I still don’t recommend buying it blindly. I have to declare myself part of its fan team. Edit: It’s the cheapest in my collection and so far the one that’s brought me the most compliments.
The scent is mind-blowingly realistic—fresh, living roses still on the bush. Like my grandmother’s Damask roses in the yard: fresh, intense, with a green touch (like the stems). I don’t think it’s meant to be worn alone, but rather layered, like with Ambroxan. For now, I only have a 10ml decant. Once I finish it, I’ll buy the 120ml bottle because it’s worth it at this price. I don’t recommend buying it blindly. It doesn’t smell vintage, and it doesn’t smell powdery.
I’m blown away by how realistic the fresh, living rose scent is, still on the bush. O.o Like my grandmother’s Damask roses in the patio, super fresh, intense, with a green note (like the stem). I don’t think it’s for solo use, but for layering, like with Ambroxan. For now, I only have a 10ml decant. If I use it up, I’ll buy the 120ml bottle because for that price, it’s worth it. Do not recommend buying blind. It does NOT smell vintage, it does NOT smell powdery.
Today, after many years, I have this bottle back. Barely opened the box and the essence (unatomized) brought me back to childhood. In my many pasts, I perceived this scent not only on my skin but on my mother’s and aunties’. It defines the smell of ‘mom’ very well, not just mine, but of someone who hugs and cuddles you with tenderness. I’ve read it’s just fresh or living roses; I think it’s more. I feel they dance to the same rhythm: roses, neroli, citrus, and woods. Even close to the skin, I sense something mentholated. How beautiful to return to the scent of my childhood and even more so to know I can feel it as I did when I was a girl. No doubt: experiences, memories, and scents are linked. Although it’s pleasant, I don’t think I’d use it daily, but only at home before bed to feel wrapped up.
Very good roses. Doesn’t smell like artificial air freshener. This smells like pink rose, enchanting. And hey, it has power and longevity.
I had been searching for two years for a Miniso perfume called Green Tea & Roses; I smelled it in the store and thought: smells like fresh roses or rose water, what a delight. I bought it and finished the 50ml in days. Recently, I smelled the empty bottle just to remember. I stumbled upon this by chance on Amazon, and after reading the reviews, oh surprise! It smells exactly like the Miniso one (I tested it on both hands, zero difference). Now I’m happy: it’s a huge, cheap bottle that will replenish and last a long time. Beautiful little perfume, it truly smells like fresh, living roses, very noticeable on clothes. On skin, it doesn’t last as long, but I don’t mind reapplying constantly 🥰.
It’s the classic example of a rose scent: fresh and natural. Intense but not overwhelming. Frederic Malle.
Captures the perfect concept of a rose perfume, the best one can imagine. The opening is loud and might give you a shock, but after a few minutes, it’s one of the most beautiful scents I’ve ever smelled. I don’t know much more about it, but outside of that ‘rosy bouquet,’ there is no other. Smells like rose oils or a rosary. It’s addictive alone or mixed, ideal with white flowers, especially lily of the valley.
It has the vibe of Jo Malone’s Red Roses, though this came first. These are roses on full blast, like having a pot of rose bushes with soil and dew. Pleasant, but only as a room freshener—that’s how I used it at least.
It smells like Jo Malone’s Red Roses but came out earlier. It’s all roses, as if you carried a pot of soil and dew. Pleasant, but better for ambienting, which is how I used it.
